Stars Never Forget Our Dreams

I've dreamt dreams in my life
till you forgotten who I am
the smooth curves of my lips
and roses in my hair.
You've dreamt dreams in your life
till I forgotten who you are
the dimple of your smile
and velvets of your heart.
But stars never forget our dreams
Stars never forgot your wet fingertips
writing proposals on the sand
Nor those kisses treaded softly
as you lifted up my hand.
So if the colour of the night
gets dark and dusty blue
If you ever think of me
If I ever think of you
Just close your eyes
Remember ,there's the splendour of a star
Still shows me where you are
Remember, there's the splendour of a star
Still shows you where I am
It shows eternal Heartbeats
Of a woman and a man.

Because Stars never forget our dreams...

This road is snake-like except
for the crusty scales of an intestinal
late dusk. A boy treaded on the
lane tracks lean and nomadic...
burnt shoulders grilled and toasted by
the sun, as if his coal skin sparked like
burning diamond weeds. In a flash, a tender
sorcery poured in my veins. There and then,
I longed to whisper a tune, play the tambourine or
partake of the loaf in my sack with him.
But he waited for paper clouds to ruffle his hair,
seemingly undisturbed by pilgrims like me
holding unto holy relics and bones of night. The gauze
shirt as his frock winged with the silver winds,
windblown stroking my ebony tresses with a whisper
hushed by his delicate omnipresence.

In a dimly lit bus, sand wheezed tribal notes
moist on my eyelids uprooted by uncontained
temples of longing, now becoming thick
as woolen destiny. If only for a flicker of time,
his eyelids met mine so briefly... parting saline dust
of sacred, smiling gazes. I was inside a cell
of a wombed bus. He was outside enlarged by a
hundred stars exploding dewdrops, inviting eternity.
For a fraction of silence, we met somewhere
between the fluorescent of our twin eyes. He, the angel
first fondly encountered ; I, the dreamer ever bewildered…
I remember...I was five.

                           ---oooo----oooo---

Oh Those Eyes

All those that I have loved before

and the ones that will come after

would never have those eyes

Oh those eyes the moon of night

those smiling eyes that do not shine

yet glow with comfort in my life

His unforgotten cheeks

a musky scent of blown gardenias

treaded softly in my sleep

 His Spring-kissed skin

The fresh sweet taste of last aquatic dew

which poured and reached

 my soul within

Without demand I think of him

And whoever said that men

can never smell like flowers

and whoever said that men

 can never taste like rain

Those are the ones who never

stretched their arms as far

as to behold the one

and whisper out his name.

Dolphin Dreams

Drowning in the ocean depths
I was sure to meet an untimely death
until an ocean angel lifted me up
I came back to life with a breathless gulp,

As he dashed through the sea I held on for life
until a tropical island was in my sight
I let go of his fin in the shallows
and treaded water for a little awhile,

I admired his dolphin bottle nose
and his echolocation squeak highs and lows
he was really quite extraordinary
intelligence in his mammal eyes I could see,

I swam the couple of feet to the shore
and looked to see if he was there anymore
amazingly it was as if he was saying goodbye
his clicks and squeaks almost causing me to cry,

With that he turned and leapt through the air
to meet up with his dolphin pod who all shared
the same lifeguard attributes that constantly amaze
all heaven sent mammals of the ocean waves.

Gandhi

Gandhi

What principle stimulated or stirred this Guy
Which Doctrine or what Teaching did he buy?

Sauntering on sandals and wrapt on his robe
Miles that he treaded traversed entire Globe.

He taught of pure Love- Peace did he teach
Violence did he spurn- Tolerance did he preach.

Vision in his keen Eyes, wouldn’t we enact
Pain or Punishment which couldn’t detract?

Thin, sturdy legs of Master of tireless trudges
Preacher of Peace who was averse to grudges;

Of all his strengths; non surpassed his Heart
Which Wickedness had reasons to thwart!

Pivot of all Races, and a hub to every Creed-
Afford Tree he planted to bear Fruit and Seed!

***For those who hold as sacrosanct Teachings of this Great Teacher, Leader, Lawyer & Philosopher in his immortalised quest for Non-violence and Tolerance in Politics & Religion and to those who are prepared to die for it!

Path To Life

No flowers bloom near faded grass
As feet have treaded, worn and bare
A route so made, a natural path
To where it goes, I don’t know where
But yet, I wander, seek, explore
Just where will feet permit me, though?
I don’t know much, but do seek more
With hopes that soon I sure will know
A clearing there among the trees
While breath of sunshine holds its place
Such wonder there, that seems to please
For now’s a smile upon my face
I’ve wandered to the land of peace
To rest eternal, soul released

Premium Member Poem For a Sleeping Child

There’s a wish to wander in your cool innocence
and cruise the thoughttides of no
responsibility—so easily you wipe your
shoeless feet on the ever waiting door
mat of socialization. How can I help you keep your
tender "souls" intact—your tread from
wearing thin out of align so as not to
fall flat. Your easy grace put to an
unfair test of ill-will winds blowing
carelessly at your soft back. I long for your sweet
calm at rest so deep so empty filled with
solid happiness—you know you are loved
beyond any measure that’s human or infinite. If
I could walk with you for a moment and peek
quietly at your conscience-----but no-it's yours
and no Dooleys allowed. Forgive me to
want to intrude on your ever pleasant play-would you
share with me like the kernel of rice or
squashed raisin-I might, but only if we all
can go. Keep it hold it for as long as you
can-as it suddenly disappears without a trace
never to be found again lest you become your
own sondaughter and learn to bask on
the outside looking in—---and be content. I
will live to never intrude on your soulspace,
but will always knock first. I am sorry ahead
of time for any pain I cause—for my mat
was torn treaded , muddy and ragged—my
sleep had no wanting witness. But I promise
to watch over you all ways.

By happenstance, I found you
And my once empty, sullen heart
Filled to the brim with ecstasy
                   Hurray for happy accidents!

Dismally sad and blue was I
One jet-black day, then I walked
               Outdoors, and voila! A goldmine
                      In the sky...sunshine

                    I searched up and down
Terra firma for gold; tearing cobwebs
Out of long unvisited nooks and crannies
And I stumbled upon a glistening diamond

              I perambulated through footpaths
Of life, just minding my business
                 Suddenly I unearthed a jewel
               Touched by the gods...happiness

             I treaded uncharted far-flung places
Along the way, I discovered an
               Unsought hidden treasure...love
                   Hurray for happy accidents!

Predestined Love

Our paths have always crossed. Our hearts forever intertwined
We have lived and loved each other so many life times
Together we’ve slain dragons. We have walked side by side with beast
Witnessed you wounded in battle and fall to your knees
We first fell in love in a world that came before
I have suited you for battle and watched you leave for war.
Together we escaped the wilderness , said our vows by peaceful streams
I’ve given birth to your children on every mountain peak
I’ve watch you quest for new worlds, far across unknown seas
Ive watch you bring down nations , only to rescue me
We have treaded long and far, across hot foreign sands
seen you slay enemies and take the spoils of their lands
I have watched you build kingdoms, and helped you tear them down
Together we were made King and Queen, our heads adorned with the crown
We have lived and love each other time and time again
We were predestined,
Created for one another, before our lives began.

Astrolabe

This spot spans the world in its entirety
and reaches through time with magnetized appendages,
in such ardent yearning
that it cracks the Earth like an egg and spreads its sorrow
throughout the universe.
And the soil is made rich with memory,
asking not 'Who am I', but 'Where am I now'.
The stars no longer shift through the sky,
and I no longer tell them to.
They are inscribed portraits of heavenly bodies,
and my permanence keeps us here,
stagnant, not moving, at peace, and unlimited.
I will last forever amidst this treaded soil,
unmeasured by days or seasons,
but by the sublime monumentalism of being unbound.
I can only know the stars as they were, but here I exist as I am:
anxious and out of rhythm,
but beautifully alien in all realms of time and dimensions of space,
the rational mirror of the universe and the wide divinity of the cosmos,
in which it becomes clear that the orchestrator is not the nature of the stars themselves or some Otherness,
but the instrument itself deciding to set things in motion or remain infinite.

Unveiled

Unveiled, I stood before him with no modesty
Exposing the true splendor of my femininity

He stared at me as if, I were a flawless creation
Professed my utter beauty with no hesitation

He looked at me and captured my essence.
Compassion pierced so deep that my soul felt his presence

Gazed within my eyes and he saw my past
Treaded gently through my being, creating new paths

Carefully he navigated my intricacies
He weaved himself into my complexities

Finding secret passages, he unearth my buried treasures
And i offered him gifts of my endless pleasures

He reverenced my temple with sheer sensuality
As he knelt before the altar of my Ecstasy.

He sought solace in my sanctuary, and I allowed him rest
Willingly I welcomed him inside of my flesh.

The Reality of a Dream

I have felt the bliss, of a daughter’s kiss,
and realize what heaven must seem.
For in all my life, thru happiness and strife,
my daughter’s laughter consumes my dreams.

I have sailed afar, and traveled the stars,
in search of a more beautiful feeling.
I’ve flown by air, for this beautiful love affair,
that sends my heart and soul a reeling.

I’ve rode the train, in search of a domain,
where love feels as brilliant as this.
I’ve swam the ocean, with perfect motion,
yet always amiss to finding this bliss.

I’ve treaded the bush, in Australia I push,
demanding they show me the path to glory,
but I leave empty handed, though I’ve demanded,
a beautiful ending to this tormenting story.

I’ve lived my life, searching for who I am,
and always do I come up short.
I fret and I ponder, for a love that is fonder,
than this love in my dreams I distort.

Still I fail, to no avail, to find a reality as grand,
than the laughter I hear, in this dream I command.
I ‘ve walked life’s path, in search of a resolution,
mindless to an ultimate desperate conclusion.
For a dream is an illusion, a visionary infusion,
a poignant resolution to all confusion – and a dream is just that….a dream.

Zest For Life

Zest for life

Zest of living one discovers
Inspired by life’s demonstrations

Beyond the desolated wastelands
within wintered caverns frozen
oppressed body of its mind
outside prisoned visions
where gleams of hope are found

thresholds on new foundations
spark of life’s creations
sunshine in the distance appearing
peace and understanding bestowed
comes from knowing we belong
to life and its living

Hearts at rest deep in healing
within the time of now extending
un ended ever ending moments
you are given within its coming goings

On all our travels that we travel
the sky sublime as it is great
wide earth beneath its treaded feet
which mark the paths we tread

At Ease

At ease

I have acknowledged your ambiance for quite some interval,
Going thru the ups and dejected of courtship with you.
But something that has dire you,
Just wretched my soul,
And now my coziness with you has been meddled.
I know I’m not a flawless soul,
Or even calm to get along with;
But I attempt my preeminent to make you pleased.
My heart pains like someone just treaded on it,
And didn’t caution about how I may feel afterwards.
I love you very profoundly,
And know that there nothing on this God green earth I wouldn’t do for you ‘
But I am confounded by your actions of the propaganda.
I hope in your core you dearly attempt to fix this agony of mine,
Or this stronghold of love we have,
May tumble.
I do love and care for you ;
But I am not at ease.
