Alphabet Soup

Admirable Almights all I ask appreciatively allow me to attain,
be beyond bourgeois breeding ballads for the brain.
Create colloquialisms that cast competently into chimeras,
directing dramatists with doubtful determinations to
delightful dactylic discriptions.
Edible expressions that exite eyes and ears,
by freely forming a firm fire you'll flog any frigid forlornness fear.
God glorifies the good, my given gift Godsent thee,
my hardihood's husky, heart hungover with honesty.
I inscribe impenetrable insights, my individuality's
inanimate without improvisation,
other jaws jabber jargon jokingly, my journalistic journey's
like Jesus's justifications.
I know to keep with Christ a close kinship,
lie low then leap to light life is limited.
Maturing moderately I molded motives to mentally
manufacture music,
now naturally notions are necessary, abnormal novelistic natuarlist.
It's obvious this optimist ovulates obscure poetic offsprings,
perception pastel's perfectly personify the pen pusher's
potentcy passionately.
You're quasi qualified like Franz Kafka no question,
respectable written reflection ramble rampant even while resting.
Some scorn and show sentiment towards sonnets I've
scriptured successfully,
the toungue-tied troubadour tallies towering totals of
synchronized terms intentionally.
My untimatum is ultimately unrivaled when using unbreakable
utensils,
my voice vibrates vigorously, visionary with a victorious view.
Why waste what you wrote, wake up, wonder in a writer zone,
poems have vibes like a xylophone.
Heart young, yearn for God 365 times a year,
my zodac is wrong, attitude zealous.

Numbers are great bearers of truth. They expose and reveal; but do not lie.
For 56 years, the pendulum has swung both ways. Back and forth without delay, for more than 20,000 days.
Both parties' politicians have led an equal number of years Let the numbers report how long they brought joys or tears.

God Almighty

God Almighty, God of grace and goodness
your guide is always guaranteed to those who gain wisdom to exalt your name.
Omnipotent is what you are
but we learn no signs of overbearing
or pride or abuse of power in you.
Dear to your being is all the creation you brought in the universe
that the loss of to the devil disturbs you
and change the entire pattern of nature.
Amalgamation of all the characters of goodness into one is epitome
that describes you even though our knowledge of you is always minimal.
Love that sees no difference in colour, languages and origins of people
tells us how sophisticated you are in integrating different parts into perfect one.
Marvellous beyond measure is your ability to design plans
that seem easy to understand in face value
but the deeper truth about them remains with you alone.
Impressive throughout eternity is the balance of laws
that you draw up to regulate nature in its everlasting beauty.
Grandeur of your Throne supersedes all the glitter and glamour
that totals all the inventions of men on earth.
High as we know it is short in your eyes
for there is no space in the whole universe that you cannot reach.
Transcendence is the quality not enough to describe your mighty powers
that see no limits or boundaries.
Your patience of the rebellious overflows across the borders of millennia
to give a chance of repentance to those who are far away from you
but are willing to join in the Holy community.

Premium Member Salad and Sudoku

Yellow chard stain index finger smears my logic puzzle,
Sour cream cilantro splatter quite the quaint “addition”
juicy brain pump lemon zest solution that I guzzle,
number crunching sea salt a spur to intuition

Roasted sweet potato has me snapping at the grid
toting up those lettuce layer 3 by 3 cells
carrot colour pencil point to “whisk” the sums I did
geometric square outside a salad bowl that gels

With mango stone eraser I can sculpt another route
Imagine all those French bean digits driving me insane
kidney bean ensemble sighs “give that row the boot.”
I sniff balsamic vinegar to make quick fixes plain

Sudoku trail incumbent has fresh basil hint in mind
while churning sumptuous avocado neuron cell alert
feasting off that figure fetish nutrient aligned
“You’ll crack this with some bamboo shoot” an Einstein voice might blurt

Basic rule of algorithm leads to Asian aniseed
Check online for symbolic totals, those grains that raise the stakes
rabbit food as tummy loaded “combo” itching to succeed
but one should pause awhile on computation,
for cayenne flavour breaks

Heuristically I dribble walnut fractions on a page
footnote to some taco leaf conundrum
Interlocking data cuts the mustard as we age
Another beetroot slice and cryptic teaser warding
 off the boredom

NB I have an acquired expertise with regard to Sudoku
logic puzzles. But I also like to cook.
The nutrients sustain my Sudoku efforts.

Death of a Telephone Salesman

He died young
   after making multiple phone calls
Sometimes he had to beg
     the professionals he called
However, his totals were high enough
 so thsy didn't fire him
I, too made plenty of phone calls
    Banging my brains out
for sales
A couple of us bot in touch
with the union
  The union people laughed
when we said
   We were working for
a business publisher
  and wanted to unionize
He's dead now
    His life was marijuana smoke
      and telephone calls
There was one guy there
     who wrote newspaper articles
Should have written
about the death of a telephone salesman

I Am a Capitalist

I am a capitalist, I hate to share
I am opulent, this is worth my flair
I am the one percent that is worth your fifty
This must be the artistry of the ingenious and thrifty

I am just a bull who stepped out of the herd
I studied its weakness and found my perch
I climbed and cut off the rundles from the ladder
I sit grinning at the top of my skyscraper

I watch the working class from my throne, grinding for wants
They’re always on the move like an army of ants
Like a chase grandmaster I develop these pawns
I pin them to protect my castles by vouching their loans

There they are, I can almost hear them pant
Only I understands this concrete jungle hunt
They graze and bury their head in the pasture
I am alert and crouch before I make a capture

Give them a wage and a pension, and we are all square
But a loss, a liquidation, a recession is theirs to bear
They pray to heaven, I prey on tax havens
Between my factory and my sanctuary are vast oceans

There is a “CAP”, and an “A-LIST” in “CAPITALIST”
There is a “PRO” and “FIT” in “PROFIT”
I am just like a capital letter standing out in a noun
Just like a capital city separating the seed from the cuff

You think I am a genius, a quick thinker
I am just an ideologue who spoke quicker
Convinced you my mind was far better
What will I be without the hands of labour?

I am a capitalist, I will give you a ballot before a cast vote
I am a capitalist, I will oil a preacher, if it makes me richer
I am a capitalist, I will throw you a banquet for the right tax bracket
I am a capitalist, I will give you a fancy title for the right totals

A Difference

We can make a difference

We can wallow in the feat
Where all souls meet
At the foot of the world by which to greet
In bitter silence to its door chime ring,

One can easily take heart or to what would sing;

From shadows glook of its tormented swoon
It would be at the addage of its peril
A safe place to emancipate,
The soul was erected by pious chimes;

In tombs tortured with flagrant rhymes/ Through a misfortune illumined amidst/ Shattered glass stained by bias accalades/ We can make a difference/ Fresh out of our store bought routine/ Out of curtains unleashed to swallow/ The world is filled with ghosts & demons/ Shaped by the imaginative solace screaming/ We can make a difference/ The trunk on the trees on which all branches grow/ The pen on the ink to make messages flow/We can make a difference/ With parts uncertain yet attainable/ Create/ The notion of a bridge of hope/ It's gap loosens for passengers to cross/ Reason must be supplimented by our creative imaginative & faith/ Reason is itself an act of faith!

The Businessman

There sits a man
	with pen in hand
Counting the stars that shine.
Do not disturb,
	he’s completely absurd,
Involved with matters of consequence.
He sits and he counts
	then totals the amounts;
He’s rich ‘cause he owns all those stars.
Oh, look! Now the sky is all blank
for the lights he did yank.
He put all his stars in the bank.

Maid of Honor’s Posy

Wearing her fuchsia gala dress
She walked the aisle and went ahead
With fresh posy as thick as cress
Weird fantasy popped in her head-
   I’ll be the bride
   Man by my side.

As wedding song took its progress
Plans unfurled like unwinding thread
First, to ask him his home address
Then dating path, she hoped to tread-
Get more posies
From crush, Francis.

Knowshow

Knowshow

All nodes firing all the time
Shine on—the glare focusing the hacks
Everything shown
Everything known
Metamalice is good to go
It’s the Knowshow

The devolving snarkyskanks are trickling it to the remember-whens
Viral krankdaddies are upsiding leveraged retro to the never-thens
Bouce back ad hoc sheen pushing savvy slightlychic, and
IMing everything in between
The cool kids are cutting to the chase, like doing shots
As cloudcom whammybammy is going zzzot
Bigshotslick is doing the trick—whoa!
Samesex freakouts are dopingthevoid as emptyheaders go
highviolet virtualizing poppedculture catfights
And Snookinistas manning up on shortsnappysoundbites

Entries, log, blogs, crank
Swipes, clear, ratings, rank
And totals tally brandishing summaries and threats
Datasets pinging spreadsheets that chart, graph, and vet
Questions that haunt
Anomoyus reaches that taunt
Metamalice is good to go
Knowshow

Hotfuzz is on it,
down with hunky hybrid gamechangers and semioldies
Fauxfab tats fastforwarding uber payperview—totally
Dead weather nightwork resonating redbullbombs
Glamourama rehabing dumpster babes pushing that gleemy calm
The hypernext buzz does not fade
Barehands reving up trailertrash on standby radio and digital readymades
Lipreaders guided by voices counterpunch pink monkey trainwrecks
Luxurious VIP booths dangling the downtime any multitasker expects
Metamalice is good to go
Knowshow
Who knows
It’s the Knowshow

Re-Marking June

A Pride fellow with the hockey staff,
Who is jeered by some that made them laugh,
Was to count the whole team's men,
Ere the P.A., (ne'er again),
Said, "Our team's men totals about half."

Wife

To My Wife

On April 7th these words were said do I take this woman to be my wife
I said yes for the rest of my life
There was a time when our love was lost awhile
You gave me a daughter I gave you a smile
Some years went by and now our family totals to five
We can see and feel our love thrive
Our marriage has not always been the best
But I like to think it’s a love nest
The past years were difficult and have not been good
But the next hundred years will be better as they should
With all the love I have for you
A good life I must, I have too
I have not forget our little three
Before they leave I hope better things they will see
Patience understanding and love I need
To make all my dreams succeed
My love for you is honest and true
Is it the same with you too
Joey my love and Joey my wife
For all our years you were and are my life
In a hundred years when we depart
In heaven another love we will start
My love for you is plain to see
Your my love happy anniversary

Mother's Day 2023

A belated happy Mother's day
Apologies for a day's delay
And since there's no known cure for celebration
I know you are still under the effects of the occasion

For a mother is a mother on mother's day
And any other day that is anyone's birthday
Which ranges from any day and totals to everyday
And since a day can't host everyday, we appreciate day to day

May the children be blessed that ye may be proud
To make empires out of inheritance and nations out of a crowd
To reign, find favour and be unbowed
To bequeath and to be endowed

Long live the long living of motherhood
From whence the count of life begins for every brood
They have filled the earth till it has become the land of the living
All manner of people in their knowing, proving, doubting and believing

And to the one that set apart the second Sunday of May
Who obviously must have been a man I must say
Blessed be his mother too
And blessed be our mothers too.

Dream the Impossible

Do you have a dream or an ambition
that one day you hope to achieve or do
then I have great news for you

if you turn to God and tell him exactly how you feel
he can take your dreams and ambitions and make them real

our hopes and dreams don't just have to stay in our hearts or in our mind
for it's in God that all our hopes, dreams and ambitions we can find

if you believe it in your heart and know that it's true
God can make all the impossible become possible for you

even if your faith is as small as a seed
God can make all those hopes and dreams succeed

God made all my hopes and dreams come true
and he can also make all the impossible things possible for you.

to all you wonderful poetry soupers everywhere
this great news I just had to share.
my son is going on a D. T. I. ( dream the impossible) trip with his youth group in may
and God made the trip possible How?

well here in UK, with sainsburys if they come late with your shopping they give you a ten
pounds
voucher
off the next shop you do on line, well on Tuesday mine was late so they gave me ten pounds
that evening I spoke with the youth leader about sorting a tent out for my son if I sorted the
finances out for him to go, he said yes sure they will be able to get a tent share
well on Wednesday morning I had a bank credit of sixty pounds, I wasn't due my wages yet
or anything, the money was in my bank it was something to do with a cold weather
payment
so this now totals seventy pounds, the weekend trip is 55 pounds and the bus from church is
additional ten pounds totaling 65 pounds now that's GODS' GRACE thanks to God my son will
be going of on his trip to dream the impossible. Amen.
