It's twelve days before Christmas, Love, and I am sitting here,
the hearth fire is burning bright, but on my cheek they're tears.
I hold the conch shell to my ear and call for you my dear.
Out across the briny deep a tempest cries beware.

The entry hall is full of garland, pine, spruce and mistletoe
The mirrors are all draped with ribbons, the brass all aglow
I hold the conch shell to me ear and stare out at the snow
remembering our last parting, I begged you not to go.

"Captain" said I "can you not see you take my heart from me?"
In his hand I placed a lock of hair, and a mustard seed.
He handed me a pearly conch shell from the Isle of Capri,
and bid me listen for his love song from the Southern Sea.

For twelve days, I've climbed stairs to the widows walk on high,
I clasp the token to my chest and search the sea near-by
So sad, yet sweet the mermaids sang, they of sailor's gone by.
They sang in sympathy, a song of longing with breathy sighs.

The cliff fires burn so bright now, he's coming on the tide.
The church bells are ringing now, soon they'll at anchor lie.
Had he heard me, had he called, had it been a dream I scryed?
T'was Christmas Eve and in the snow, he's landing with the tide.

The Tidings

Here beneath the stars,
Far from the whispering eaves,
Tell me thy tidings,
Be they dark as northern nights
I will not fail or falter.

I have built for thee
A dwelling, of green pine boughs,
O' my silent guest.
A light to guide thy coming
Have I set : here take thy rest.

Sage Tidings

Deluged with the nostalgic era of you,
Your lush verdant scent lining
Wistful sentiments upon idle reflections
Scattered in fragments and fine dustings, as
I acquaint myself with futile intricacies—
Devoted to your unwritten absence,
Wandering in a haze of misty wastelands,
While you eternalize your presence in our
Heart of hearts and in the
Cavernous corners of our souls, with the
Delicate air of you—spilling your love—
Memorializing the tidings you’ve nurtured,
Within our once piteous existence,
Endlessly rising in honor of you.

Premium Member Happy Tidings At Christmas

 Colorful lights adorn the tree
While Christmas cheer and eggnog flow
Christmas carols are sung with glee
 Colorful lights adorn the tree
'Neath the mistletoe you kiss me
 As ornaments and tinsel glow
 Colorful lights adorn the tree
While Christmas cheer and eggnog flow
                      ~

Premium Member Glad Tidings---.

Recline my love within the foam
upon the ocean’s skirt.
And, make a bridal bed for me
as days end we do court.

Adonis, he has blessed your form
Poseidon bless’d your lance
And thee has captured me my love
With nothing but a glance.

The pounding of the summer shore
the steamy mist of the sea,
the brush of gentle fingertips
from hip to out turned knee.

The penetrating part my love
has breeched but heart and mine….
We’ve formed a kernel, just a start
a child for other times.

So, let us rise within the sea
and pledge eternity
Of the green eyed maidens love
on thy bended knee.

The Tidings of Fall

There a movement in the trees
The goings of an autumn breeze
Tickling leaves of red and gold
Making hot summer into winter cold
And in the air there goes a wisp
Of smoke riding on air so crisp
Of days to come this is a sign
Of seasons change and change in time
For heavy coats and fire bright
New stars to see up in the night
But at this time before the snows
It's falls turn now to put on a show
First one tree and then the next
A show so striking so complex
And looking up the sky so blue
But this is nothing compared to You
A glimpse of Heaven for us to see
A hint to us Your great beauty
But as for now we'll stand amazed
Of wondrous things that You have made
Winter's coming and summer's gone
And fall won't be here very long
Now out the window look alas
Night has come so very fast
Time to sleep but again we'll see
In the morn this great beauty

Premium Member Dark Tidings

When wind whips high in the night
Shrilling it's loneliness
Or the cold grey curl of the fog
Follows me through the streets
Terror is my name, as the asphalt trembles
And I land on your doorstop,
With horror at your rumpled feet
In this day's dole of happenings
I triumph over those who fear
My cloven hooves of tidings
So far from the spot where horror
Lies fused in common planetary chaos
With no one knowing the end...the time or place
Before your eyes...recognize my form
I speak with deceit mixed with truth
What is real...? Consider me depraved
The bannered headline, I go on record
For news now looms in startled silhouette
Look at this new day, look gravely in it's face
Futile those who evict a glance
To edit me, without chance to erase my lies
It looks back from a mirror eye to eye
Some equinox of destiny
That slithers back to hither...slime or shame
It has come to pass, somewhere...
Will it come here on your street?
Do you wish to escape, your name in black?
What slithers, darkly, to bedevil you...
What creeps inside your peace of mind
Seen darkly in the daily news

Fear Not For Behold I Bring Tidings of Great Joy

In this time the cloth is unwoven, the threads laid bare.
Most of the dung removed, cleared, given no fare.
Massive steel plates hold back the uninvited from boarding the train.
Going and coming returning from far, how special the precious Saved Ones are!
Not as many by count, as expected to be, go only the accepted glorified in He.
The One by name Jesus Christ is He, by birth our Savior, God’s only Son.
The rapture has started transformation begun!
“Multitudes Missing” is what is said both of the living and of the dead.
Glory shone at the uniting above as Jesus ascended taking the Throne.
Angels and Saints at the table were there, celebrating the beginning
As promised by some, in the Book it is written the time has come.

To those uninvited still sinning below Tribulation unending they endure
Because death is not given for the unforgiven there is no cure.
Now that The Holy Spirit is gone replaced by the unholy one.
Three and one half years his reign will be before his anointment as
King of the land, then after another one half and three
From his throne he gathers his forces to make his stand.
In Jerusalem, after the Temple’s complete, is the place Armageddon has come.
Many the forces pressing the land foul and dirty sinners are they.
Angels from above sweet music they play, as their swords slash, many they slay.
The rest are all gathered sorted like sheep the wicked on the left and thrown into the deep
Where welcomed by him unholy for sure cured not forever burning in hell.

Be it certain, known for sure, Jesus has returned all hail the King.
For a thousand years he will reign all living forever no sickness or pain.
He is my God the only pure one born of a mortal, Spirit raised, God’s Son.
On the cross our sin debt He paid glory forever so easily gained
Not by good works impossible to do only in accepting as Savior, our Lord, King.
In living and doing such a small little thing why do so many risk certain despair?
Is it that we tangled in our lives, mundane as they are, have little care
For those less willing the truth to be know spread the message they must be shown!
Think now of forever the price they bear become an ambassador in Jesus’ name!
Hot is the pit with its flame burning bright engulfing a loved one what a terrible sight.
The time is at hand the cloth becoming bare; Jesus is the answer show you dare.

Cascading crystals conquer crisis’ woe
As abundant harvests waft blessings boom

Flower terraces in radiant show
Bring cheer midst daffodils and lilacs’ zoom

Enthralled by grace-delights hearts can’t outgrow
Grateful that God restores* to vanquish doom

Good Tidings

There comes the month of December,
When His birth people remember.
He was born in a manger,
He who was to be the world Changer.
Jesus was born in that glorious night,
So that the world can have true light.

To the shepherds announced the angel:
"Good Tidings! Here comes 'Immanuel!'"
For good and endless reasons,
Jesus is relevant in all seasons.
He was born to establish a kingdom,
In which man is given freedom.

Lasting joy His birth brings,
And for this the soul sings.
As when a bird lies down in its nest,
Jesus was born to give you rest.
