The Butterfly

Enroling you a worm (cumbersome and)
hairy, you- scimitar of leaves
Knows the pain ,writhing pupae
Abandoned and convicted
Constricted hanging straightjacket
Squirming like a jackrabbit
Gagged nocturnally - blindfold humility
Rejected by those mocking moths
and jealously believing left the key

Both found our grace on bended knees
..left there dangling from a tree..

Unhinge now those spinakers of glory
Pretty - flaky- flinder
Streaked in splatters paint
Dust of the fairies
Gaze at me with criss-cross eyes
Innocent beauty oh ye butterfly

Spiny antennae, stretching out transmitters
Taking flight so easily
Flitting off with no goodbyes
To a newer afternoon over there

Dashing in the sun
Kneeding and gouging all those zinnias
Joy! Slurping up the nectar
Whisky! Tequila! Brandy and Champagne!
Swops them for a chorus of pansies
Dancing blooming flowers
Crazy blessed colours
Bouncing delight.- erratic in flight
Dodging in between the bees

O enchanted mystic butterfly
Only pausing for a while
Hold me in your spell
For you walked that crooked mile

Linger in this dream
So seldom comes to see
Just as you, my timepiece too
Is coiled in spring
A dustpuff within the wind

Specked all over pollen confetti
Envied now by every moth
Suicidal circle - one kamikaze candle
Seared and singed and slowly fried
Getting what theyre vetted for

But the sun his laughing in his sky
Beseeching all the yet to open flowers
Awake !Awake!
An angel is coming by

Cruelty of War

stand upon a barren ground

Where many dying or dead soldiers are found.

Silent cries can be heard all around

Of many a soldier that lay on battle ground.

If only theyd known what they knew now

Would they have died for theyre country on a false governments vow.

Falsely led to do battle in war

If only theyd known truly what it was they were fighting for.

Hailed as heroic ib each of their deaths

Too many lives gone in a wars gidden depths.

A world ruled only by greed

Upon their own country men

Their government feed.

So to our young children i say these words before the world they step out.

Please be wary of the world that you are about to step out

For nots all as it seems

Its a world of much sad conviction & doubt.

Listen to the parents who to you fave birth

For this love is true & pure

& the only one of its worth.

Dont be led by viws or promises made

By a governing force that leads to the graves youll be laid.

Think about what it is you want from your life

Remember that war can only bring to the world more & more strife.

One Man's Trash Is Another Man's Treasure

I've been beaten down, back stabbed and drug through the mud
But yet all I search for is my true love
I've been thrown down stairs and spit in my face
I've never really found my own happy place

From a sexual abuse to my first love with a razor
I let my family down, "that's not how we raised her"
Because I failed school and I saw all these guys
That would later account for the tears in my eyes
I tried filling the void where my abuse burned a hole
in my life, in my heart, in my mind, in my soul

But nothing could mend it no matter what I tried
All the drinks, the pills, or the tears I have cried
I was hurt, I felt broken, I wanted to fade away
I couldn't bare to look in the mirror another day
So I fought and I yelled and got wasted again
And I tried to fix it with more pills and more men
From one relationshipship to the next trying to find love
I just didn't understand the plan from above
I just knew I was cracked like a porcelain bowl
No matter who tried they couldn't make me whole
I made people cry, and I hurt their pride
And I just didn't care how hard they would try
Because when they hurt I felt happy 'cause now theyre like me
Sitting there wanting what just couldn't be
I couldn't be happy, joyful or smile
Unless I put on a mask for awhile

But I still felt useless, depressed and alone
Because I couldn't have a love for my own
I kept my walls up because I didn't matter
And they wouldn't fall down no matter how tattered
I was quick and replaced every person that left
Because I couldn't get back that initial theft
I lived out of my car with another boyfriend I 'needed'
I wouldn't go home no matter how bad I'd been treated
Eventually I felt all the pages had been turned
My self was gone again, my heart had been burned
My life felt disappointing I wanted to give up
Then you came out of no where and redefined love
So like always I pushed all the feelings deep down
For the fear I'd come home and you wouldn't be found
You were always there and you never gave up
You made me feel worthy of somebodies love
So with this I thank you for just being here
And helping me love what I see in the mirror
And you mended that porcelain crack
You filled it with gold and gave me love back
And it's more beautiful than ever
Shiny new and improved like our love is - forever.

Underwater

Im under water
and it feels like a slaughter
the killing of my precious air
day dreaming that someones there
Hoping and praying for anyone
To come around and be the one
to rescue me, but I am alone
My soul took off from my body, it has flown
from this deoxygenated world to mine
I am now feeling shivers down my spine
I feel the trembling of my lungs
The absence of the life my body longs
for and craves, the life it needs
I am frozen in time as my nose bleeds
My stomach fills with acid, water
begins to sink into my airless lungs
i think people are yelling with cut off tongues
theyre muted, they cant be heard
I begin to feel weightless like a bird
I think Im starting to drown
I continue to sink and go down
deeper under this water
that feels like a slaughter

All Animals Are Beautiful

i am not a beatnik
ive been called hipster
i am not a caucasian
blood type O positive
I live in the house i was raised in
i destroyed it and rebuilt it
the discovery of my identity
i hit my head on dirty hardwood floors
and became awake
i held on and took the hit
i got high and drank a lot
dont make me tell you
when i explain things
people have the same responses
most of the time
thats okay
its in a poem
my catharsis was not a hobby
i face the demons on concrete sidewalks
used ancient medicine
questioned my thoughts
stared long and hard into the truth
my entry was not at random
but probably it was
this was not my concern
i reflected on ego
fate and this carousel
all animals are beautiful
all wearing a saddle
i went back inside
lightning doesnt strike twice
isnt impossible
a giant meteor theory sounds good
theyre all gona want to know
what this all really means
i blame it on poetry
and f* you
shame
lol
if I wasnt such a romantic
this writing would be disgusting
i have nothing to offer but true love
infatuation with the chemistry in communication
my words finding a way to unite our souls
blending our person
a paradox in science that happens daily
catching my feels
laughing
i am accepting all grievances
pardoned without a hearing
no slight
im harbored amidst my eloquence
building my tender heart a fortress
telling myself a get away
soothing my curiosity
drinking from the dew drops
i like when dawn is early
traffic is always early
wishing our minds would hurry
making room for more

Wiser the Miser

I once had everything
too much in fact
confidence surging
until it told me that
I was wiser than the miser
so I thought to be so
the flaw of my empire
was I couldn't let go
of thinking people
can be taken at word
it took losing everything
for me to finally see
why the of the miser
was the wiser way to be

On top of temptation
sure of my self-control
with the strength of my spirit
I squeeze the hunger from my soul

Now weakness is conquered
I can hold my head high
without needing and wanting
what I need not to survive
just to feel more important
I offer in abundance what you seek
served up for a perfect murderer
waiting for the moment of dependency
withdraw all attention, suddenly reeling
swimming in an ocean of despair
without anyone there
I float aimlessly lifeless
but somehow reach the shore

I lay down to dry out
in the heat of the sun
i feel it's love radiation
fill the void of needing someone
as if it were trying to tell me
its not so bad up here alone
at least nothing can be taken
when the sky is your home
and no one ever again reached me
after I realized what was being said
the wiser the miser
once he never again trusted.

Selfishness appears wiser
why must my heart be bigger
at the moment of truth
wish they would pull the trigger
and end the pain
of either wrong choice
nobody there to listen
so in my head grows the voice
and the message from me
or a God of my special design
nobody can disprove
the choices of mine
because theyre all right to me
they determine my outcome
and if selfish it appears
a miser is one who is outdone
and better off for it
for he is still alive
call him the label that fits you
for his own are worn on the inside.

How It Feels To Be Stalked By a Serial Killer and Have No One Care

how many people in your life that have been murdered?
probably none
my grandfather was a war herp
coma tosed
to have his wife a cripple
so i could run away scrambling from bs people for the rest of my life

11 tragic deaths in my life,
my family and friends
and their family and friends dropping like flies

the bills sent for the ambulance ride
leave me wondering why did you even bother come
to pretend to save my life
to wake me up and send me out the door
without being able to thank the people who just kept me alive

4 suicides, and im the lucky one to survive mine
4 murders have taken place in my life
and three tragic accidents

i have no idea what it would belike to see my family smile
theyre all dead

nothing but bs people come to watch me cry
who dont know who i am
never talk to me
and have no time for someone like me

off i go back to the hospital for more poison
and brag about malpractice
my stomache that cant digest any thing without pain or discomfort
but hey off your meds i can finally achieve an ********

love music by the way
the terrorist psychological attack with my name on it
offering me reason after reason to cry
what do i need another excuse to hate you

the politicians i cant contact
the police force harassing me
breaking my door down to ransack
stalking me to hand out tickets
breaking my nose afer a hostage situation

and its the bs people who tell me
trying to kill myself was the right thing

the military doesn't care
but make things happen over night

love watching you walk around in your underwear
at my pity party to be happy for you
but im not
im jealous
i hate you for it

your bs people
like these poetry sites with no clue
nice poem huh?

what a read....

go die
maybe after i get crippled they will have the heart to shoot me
but i doubt it
been raped, and tortured, and drugged, and beat by police, and held hostage
to be cyber stalked and have my accounts compromised
off and on and off and on
for 13 years

go kill yourself
war pig loser nation

what do you want me to say?
i know why people drop bombs now
i truly do

put me in a tank
and suck my d ick
existance is my enemy anyway
i hope he quits bothering to live

screw you face book
and twitter is a terrorist organisation
go ask microsoft

Premium Member Robinsons Wimbledon Weekend

Two decades ago this story began
Founded by one of the Robinson Clan.
The weekend is always the second in July
Its the gathering of a unique group of guys.

In honour of The Late Arthur L. Heron
Who would be swinging his clubs in heaven
The trophies grand and tall and bears the names
The history of winners engraved to remain

They all arrive early in the afternoon
A simular scene to National Lampoons
It's Wimbledon, Golf and AFL at it's best
Three days of endurance put to the test.

A quick 9 holes of golf out on the green
Will determine the weekends competing teams
Men's semi finals back to back Friday night
Saturday morning hits off with the golf course in sight.

They then venture into the 19th hole
Relaxing with large consumptions of alcohol
Saturday night the womens finals and AFL
The food, tall stories and catch-ups to tell

Sunday morning theyre all weary with sore heads
As they drag themselves out of their beds
With panadol in hand they are back on the course
For the final day of Golf feeling a little remorse

When the Golf is over and the trophy is claimed
Everyone's poor performance the alcohol is blamed
It's then back to Wimbledon the mens finals to see
A few more drinks and snacks, all happy as can be

And thats it!  it's over!  They down the final beers.
But its never really over as they'll be back next year.
The competition for the Arthur L. Heron Cup
Is an honour these guys will never give up

It's a magical bond between these guys
The feeling is sad as they say goodbye
The memories made they will embrace
And practice all year for next years 1st place

Authors Note:-

Kurt requested a poem for me to write
With Golf, Wimbledon, AFL and you guys in sight
I hope he reads it well and he mentions me
I'm the author known as Derani, but nicknamed Dee.

So Easy

He said to me
You know, you get to know people
When you meet them on the street
There are basically two types;
Those who look like hell
And then you find theyre really sweet
And then there are those
Who look so cool
But they always break your heart
He asked " Which one are you?"
I said Im hoping I can change
I tried to be first
But I always came last
I am trustworthy and dependable
(Desperate and destructive)
Welcome to my parlor
Said the idle spiderman

And somewhere inside of me
I could hear satan laugh
And I wondered what to write upon his epitaph

Friends For a Day, Strangers Forever

Wind torn faces, feeling cold
Venture out if you feel bold
Never do what you are told
Its snowing once again

People talk, Oh the weathers bad
Hoarding food, are people mad
It must be the worst we have ever had
Theyre talking once again

I wish the train would arrive soon
Ive booked my holiday I go in June
I know lets all sing a tune
The trains cancelled once again

Oh its so cold, have you far to go
My dad said it was going to snow
Its more than Fish and Kettley know
Cameraderie once again

Four hours it took to get home last night
You would think someone would get it right
At last, I think the train is in sight
Blame British Rail again

The mighty thaw, the snow all clears
The people smile, the nation cheers
The new found friends dont talk for years
Were strangers once again

Promotion

I wanted to be a rich girl
In my posh executive suit
But then a little person
Made my life change route.

Posh make up replaced with eye bags
A bulge replacing my waist
The fear of getting through bed time
Worse than any meeting Id faced.

Rats tails Instead of a style
My nails not polished and posh
I think there was a good few days
I’d even forgotten to wash.

You think deadlines are scary
My friend you haven’t known fear
Til your child is standing, their nappy is gone
And theyre smiling from ear to ear.

Don’t ask about my nice year ‘off’
I can assure you that my leave
Was hard enough to make a stint
In prison sound like a breeze.

So while the brand new office girl
Smugly pities me
Lets take a short reflection
To view my new CV…

I am a master multi tasker
No job too small or big
You’ll never know what patience is
Til you’ve watched EVERY Peppa Pig.

Deadline shmedline I’m not phased
Reports don’t bring me sorrow
I’ve had that dreaded letter
‘He must be Superman tomorrow’.

So you want creative do you?
I must think outside the box?
The **** I’ve made with cards and glue
While we were sitting out the pox.

I’m a motivational speaker
I pull solutions from the hat
I can engage an entire crowd
With the attention of a gnat.

I work straight through, I don’t take breaks
And I don’t charge double time
I adapt to situations
All the freaking time.

But I am stronger than ever and wiser
And for that I will never be glum
No career move can ever be greater
Than being promoted to ‘Mum’.

Everyone Love Everyone

There is so much hatred here on earth
For we don’t treat people for what theyre worth
Our words have so much power
We can tear people down or build them up like a tower
We bring people down for our personal gain
We think we win when we bring them shame
Instead of shame, how bout we bring love
Let’s show people a reflection of our Father above
Let’s show that we’re different, we’re not the same
For we’re not living for ourselves, but to bring glory to His name
Because of this they may knock us down and spit in our face
Instead of hating them back, let’s show them some grace
We can think we deserve better, that life isn’t fair
But if life was fair, we would all be in hell full of despair
We think we don’t deserve all this pain
But if we suffer here on earth, how much more in heaven we will gain!
Even Jesus suffered in his human state
So lets take his attitude, and after him lets imitate
He didn’t hat back, for he knew that God is just
He didn’t put things into his own hands, he gave God his trust
Even though they hurled insults on Him
He still came and died for all of their sin
He gave us the perfect example of how to forgive
So lets take it and apply it to how we live
So no matter what people do to us
We need to show them the love and grace of our savior Jesus
When we hate back, what do we gain?
All of what Jesus did will go in vain
So lets follow him and all of his ways
And bring glory to him the rest of our days
And if we do this, we will discover
That life is so much better when we all love one another
