I suppose the best form of revenge is success. Does the universal law of karma still apply, or will I wait here and cry?
Enroling you a worm (cumbersome and) hairy, you- scimitar of leaves Knows the pain ,writhing pupae Abandoned and convicted Constricted hanging straightjacket Squirming like a jackrabbit Gagged nocturnally - blindfold humility Rejected by those mocking moths and jealously believing left the key Both found our grace on bended knees ..left there dangling from a tree.. Unhinge now those spinakers of glory Pretty - flaky- flinder Streaked in splatters paint Dust of the fairies Gaze at me with criss-cross eyes Innocent beauty oh ye butterfly Spiny antennae, stretching out transmitters Taking flight so easily Flitting off with no goodbyes To a newer afternoon over there Dashing in the sun Kneeding and gouging all those zinnias Joy! Slurping up the nectar Whisky! Tequila! Brandy and Champagne! Swops them for a chorus of pansies Dancing blooming flowers Crazy blessed colours Bouncing delight.- erratic in flight Dodging in between the bees O enchanted mystic butterfly Only pausing for a while Hold me in your spell For you walked that crooked mile Linger in this dream So seldom comes to see Just as you, my timepiece too Is coiled in spring A dustpuff within the wind Specked all over pollen confetti Envied now by every moth Suicidal circle - one kamikaze candle Seared and singed and slowly fried Getting what theyre vetted for But the sun his laughing in his sky Beseeching all the yet to open flowers Awake !Awake! An angel is coming by

A simple translation ( allegory ). --- I think of another left hanging on a tree whose transformation awakens countless flowers- whose beauty replaces the fear in our hearts with love. --- Until science can elucidate the wellspring of hope in man, we are condemned to rejoice in His spirit.

Hi Robert, Thank you so much for your input and so eloquently replied. Indeed!.I tried to introduce it into this work with only a subtle hint. Only a person deep in wisdom will know the depth and scope of that Great Victory.

Hi, Jannie, gosh I asked another Soup poet from South africa about that matter you told me. And they acted like they did not know what I was talking about. Is it more a regional problem? It sure must be very scary for you. Let me read your poem now.

Admission here: I am colourblind but I can imagine what you see. Write a poem about it too. For me,strangely bizarre,, who can tell me what blue looks like? But its MY blue. Everyone else is bullshitting ha ha

I am dizzy, so dizzy from all the reactions taking flight in my head as my spirit spurns on even more that I had to pause before even typing this much. Jannie, this is exceptional, its beauty is a raw uniqueness that is totally from the divine depths of your individuality. It defies form, goes in no box for its imagery is rolled out in a blow-me-away-Jannie-spell. I am faving it. Reading it again and again, savoring it. Your muse wouldn't leave you be for overly long, eh? Love ... CayCay

Such a cerebral butterfly journey this glistening winged poem took us on, Jannie. Your pen is full of sumptuous ink ... Gagged nocturnally - blindfold humility. Rejected by those mocking moths and jealously believing left the key. Thought provoking lines throughout this gorgeously expressive poem, my dear friend. Love and joy always.
