So Easy

He said to me
You know, you get to know people
When you meet them on the street
There are basically two types;
Those who look like hell
And then you find theyre really sweet
And then there are those
Who look so cool
But they always break your heart
He asked " Which one are you?"
I said Im hoping I can change
I tried to be first
But I always came last
I am trustworthy and dependable
(Desperate and destructive)
Welcome to my parlor
Said the idle spiderman

And somewhere inside of me
I could hear satan laugh
And I wondered what to write upon his epitaph

I am confused Jannie. Might just be that my mind slipped into a millennial crack and hasn't returned yet. I will read again until I understand.

This is great, Jannie - very creative and clever, entertaining while dark wit delivers a truthful way we oft feel. This is unique as you are unique and I suspect you were writing of yourself, at least in certain moods at certain times. I'm impressed with this. Miss ya (my fault) ... CayCay
