Best Sundress Poems
Little Lulu, a cute little girl.
in her sundresses loved to just twirl.
Around she kept going,
pink underpants showing.
Her life would become one big “whirl.”
In grade school, she grew to be wild.
Upside down, in the playground, this child
from the monkey bar hung
in her sundress among
all the boys standing round her, who smiled!
As a teen, Lulu still loved to wear
a sundress to make young men stare.
She was thought a great sport
when she wore a dress short,
legs crossed as she sat in a chair.
Little Lulu was so hot to trot
her affection by many was sought
till that cute buttercup
got finally knocked up.
Then a white wedding sundress she bought!
The years crept up quickly on Lulu.
On her porch she now stands and calls, “You-hoo!”
to every old guy
who might give her the eye
as she twirls the huge skirt of her muumuu!

Colorful flowers and spaghetti straps
And my flabby arms from seams overlap
But the sundress still beckons
It’s diet time, I reckon
Girdle needed, my tummy to entrap
Seeking new ways for calories to burn
To wear that sundress, I’ll let famine churn
Want to look provocative
Avoid stares accusative
Hunger overwhelms, for ice cream I yearn
Sign up for Biggest Loser on TV
So Jillian Michaels can torture me
Pushing boulders up steep hills
To accentuate the frills
Of a small sundress designed for Twiggy
Jillian cracks the whip with no remorse
I drag tired bones through the exercise course
Now slim, I sleep peacefully
Blessed with deep serenity
While friends say, “She makes a beautiful corpse.”

As the long, frigid winter comes to an end
She pictures a dress like none other- quite a vision!
A sundress in her favorite color of sky blue
Made of softest blue chiffon with mixed patterns
Held in place by strap-like sleeves, and finest pearls
And a fitting lower back cut, made to hug
She smiles as in her mind she conceives
They would have a quiet dinner at the sea shore
Followed by casual dancing beneath the stars
In the quaint, quiet gazebo hand made with white lattice
Lit by whimsical lanterns swaying in the southern winds
Which soften the mood to match the haunting sounds of the obo
As the night grows deeper, wrapped warm in loving arms
They’d stroll along the beach, two hearts finally at peace
He would laugh as a soft, gentle wind billows her skirt
Lightly brushing bare back as he steals a sweet kiss
And lost to the world they'd be, amidst soft pounding of ocean surf
Then spend the night in the dunes up on the hills to await
The fiery glow of sun rise; welcoming a new and glorious day!

The songbirds are singing
It's another sunshine day
A light breeze is blowing
Spring is here to stay
Dressed in a flowered sundress
Underneath the shining rays
Visions dance before me
An angel wants to play
Her skin like the cool of winter
Her hair is the colors of fall
With a voice sweetly singing
I offer her my southern drawl
The lilacs blossom around her
Apple trees tease open their flowers
I watch the angel in the sundress
Spin in my visions for hours
I offer her some sweet tea
To quench her mighty thirst
She readily declined me
For the dance, she was submersed
As the sun went to sleep
The moon offered up its light
My angel kept dancing
With no sundress in sight.
She danced into my arms
All over this country boys heart
I love that angel in a sundress
Forever, Until death do us part

She had on this lovely sundress
Innocent curious look in blue
A full figured fiery fifteen with
Passion that will warm any coldest heart.
Heart full of love of a gentle dove
Behold her face all-rich.
Her seductive look makes one to stoop
Deep grey eyes can lead anyone astray
Round ear-ring makes whirl around
Waist can send anyone on quest
Her pouty lips reminds of Jolie
Nature gave her in abundance nothing redundant
But O girlie, beware of the ensnared eyes
Oh, Oh, no more, no more,
Remember, Remember
No more yearnings go to your learning’s
Remember your rammed memories
Pluck not the flower
Let it be the delight of other travelers
Do I have to remind you of what you penned?
Very recently on John Keats and Shelley.
Let the beauty be floating
And sink the beast to unfathomable depth.

Lyric
When we were little, I was big.
I held her hand crossing the street
while mom watched the other two
and carried our supplies for the week.
She wiggled and pulled and fought
just to run, pick up rocks
or make a wish on dandelion seeds.
But if I asked her to stop, she stopped.
Town to town, province to province,
three in the back - her in the front.
Packing what little could fit in our trunk,
our parents searched for work and their love.
Unbuckled in the back we played,
sliding ourselves into each other,
finding harmonies and blocking out arguments
from the front - where she took the brunt.
When I was young, she was younger.
I was under the bridge, drunk-bonding with kids
met that morning behind the class I just skipped.
I should have been home, could have been her defender.
Teens turned to twenties; we managed – we did.
I did what came easy, she did the rest.
When it started to happen, I don’t really remember.
I got good at pretending; she just got better.
I saw her from a block away, pregnant and tanned,
crossing the street to her upgrading class.
Pink and white sundress showed off her belly,
and I felt the sense memory of her in my hand.
Now it is her who holds back my struggle.
I’ve been broken and healed then broken again;
still under that bridge in so many ways.
She is safe, she is home; she is big when I’m little.

She's got a perfect smile
her body an hour glass
A beautiful girl
in a beautiful sundress
And perhaps it's just the dress
that gives her that right
the right of perfection
to my imperfect sight
A kind of beauty
she doesn't try to show
a kind of beauty
I will never know
Silly to dream
of what I'll never be
of a dress that will never
look that good on me
But why can't I wear that dress?
That summer came with it a personal promise
3 seasons and 60 pounds at last
I am the beautiful girl
In the beautiful sundress

The Sundress, As A Marital Aid
By Rick Rucker
Before we begin, I am a “little” weird,
In case you have not “heared,”
When my Lover wears her mini sundress,
Her bare skin, I cannot wait to caress,
Her womanly delights, just out of view,
My lust for her, she does renew!
The enticing expanse of her bare back,
The gossamer-thin fabric accents the curves that she does not lack!
When she has it on, and we are walking,
I am nearly incapable of talking,
As any woman will tell you that you ask,
No man can begin to multitask!
I have on my mind just one thing,
An activity that makes me want to sing!
Walking behind her, I can see,
The sensual goddess in front of me,
Of her, I have no favorite part,
All of her does over-speed my Heart!
As I watch her stroll along,
I am reminded of “Pretty Woman,” the song,
She makes me so proud that I could shout,
Then sing, and dance about!
If other men knew what I have waiting,
When she and I get home, it is me they would be hating!
She has found the secret to a happy life,
This woman whom I have asked to be my wife,
She can do such things to me,
My senses so overloaded, that I can hardly see,
We are lucky that what she does cannot be put in a pill,
Our country’s production would come to a standstill!
Half of our population, would die very soon,
The men would take a bunch of the pills, then swoon!
Luckily, I do not have to take that pill,
I have her next to me to thrill,
I give her a red, red Rose,
She gives me cause to curl my toes!
Removing her sundress is an art,
As I do it, exploring each newly-exposed part!
It must not be done it too fast,
I want this ceremony to last!
In fact, in a day, I may remove it from her several times,
As this really “rings my chimes!”
As I told you, I may be strange,
But this part of the day, I would not change!
If your lover wears a sexy sundress,
She is wearing it for you, I would guess,
Tell her you would be happy to help her take it off,
If you are lucky, your clothes she may help You doff!
If your love life is a little staid,
Help her buy a sundress as a marital aid!

Take me to summer of dress that is cool, sensual, and demure.
Having such memories, takes me into a realm where I was immature.
Evenings that awoke me with views of such softness, nothing obscure.
Soft wispy movements that turn all gentlemen’s heads to watch closely,
Undeniably noticing the curves that have inspired many creations,
Now, from out of our past creativity flows from silhouettes seen freely.
Daring but ever so subtle this dress, worn in leisure along in vacations,
Reveling the season it was designed and named after in natural grace.
Each time I see this attire, many emotions flow upon mind and face.
Summer warmth and subtle winds allow this to be worn at any place.
Secures power of sun, for our ladies, each dignifies femininities case.

My sundress hangs there limply,
needing me to fill it out.
The rains have been relentless
putting all sunshine to rout.
The ides of March have come and gone
without a sign of spring.
My raincoat and umbrella are
each such a ragged thing.
It’s now Easter vacation and
I’m yearning for some fun.
Today the rains have halted
and we have a bit of sun.
Excitedly I pull my sundress out
and down over my head.
“You must be careful you don’t burn,
is all my mom has said.
The other kids have come for me.
We head out for the day.
After downing the car's soft roof
we’re on our merry way.
Adventuring on the seaside,
water is too cold to swim.
The sandy beach is warming and
we are all young and trim.
In my canary yellow sundress,
I’m feeling very pretty.
To cover with unneeded wrap
would truly be a pity.
We romp and play like small children,
the whole of the spring day.
When evening breezes cool the air
we can no longer stay.
When Mother meets me at the door,
look on her face is stern.
“Why is it you won’t listen?
I told you, you would burn.”
My face and shoulders, arms and legs
are just as red as fire.
I meekly bare my shoulders
for the lotions they require.
I hope I’ve learned my lesson
as the pain is quite severe,
but my sundress will be calling
on first spring day, come next year.

SUNDRESS UNDRESS
Hot day at the beach - time to catch some sun,
Maybe also catch some son.
She was a twelve year old girl - tousled hair -
In a tussle between herself and mum
It was too low at the top up there
Too high at the bottom - you could see her bum.
Pull it up and fail to cover some bits
Pull it down and can’t find anywhere it fits
Bare midriff, yellow with tiny dots of black.
Economical on material mum laughed -
Almost all gone at the front, and none at the back.
To be honest, it was somewhat daft:
They argued - yes I will ; no you won’t; and then -
Not at your age; if not at my age, then when?
But it was impossible to stop her (so willful ! )
Without actually putting the dress out of reach.
She couldn’t stop her from wearing the dress so awful:
Girl cringed as mum wiggled it up and down the beach.

Her skin reflected the Sun
her eyes were blue like the sea
she was sunbathing on beach
how I loved her eyes!
Never did she like tan lines
so have a guess of her dress
salty breeze playing with curves
her lips licked sundrops!
A nice sunbathing sundress
with Sun rays all over her
wish I were lucky rays to
kiss her birthday dress!

It was the beginning of a summery season,
In that beautiful dress, adorned with baby blue and pink
Opened back, opened toe sandals; she gave me a wink
That sundress took my breath away, I wanted to say "hello" but lacked a reason
