Stick To His Rules, He Not Human Actually Rules

( On backdrop of current JAPAN tragedy.
Dedicated to all who lost lives and property in worst devastation ever.
Our sincere prayers for their salvation, succour to surviving victims, early rehabilitation)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Fukushima
Nuclear destination, bombing and self-explosion
Human rant, God is just name for chant
Reign human invention, HE just mythological sovereign
God disliked apathy, shelved sympathy
thought to teach lesson, venue selected Japan
Quake, Tsunami, Fire, Radioactive leak, wreck plenty
65 seconds flat, venue littered with death float
Humans abuse Nature, expect HIM to spare, care
HIS justice, a show reality sans court, hearing or attorney
HE delivers salvation to devastation, superpower to roadside pauper
Avoid HIS wrath, stick to HIS rules, HE not Human actually rules
The pounds are just melting away
You might think I'd be a bit concerned
Well actaully I'm on a mission
To lose 30 pounds before the snow flies
There's no particular reason why
I set that particular number as my goal
It just seems within my reach
Given my age and life style
One thing I've always had is “sticktoitness”
But when I get on a mission, I tend to over indulge
Up to now it hasn't caused me any great problems
I must remember I'm not a young chicken anymore
But as the old saying goes, “use it or lose it!”
And this guy's not ready to cash in my chips just yet!
Started out riding my exercise bike
Once a day for 20 minutes
Recently I've upped it to twice a day
Totalling 40 minutes and am even thinking
Of making it three times a day if I can
I told you I'm on a mission!
Wish me luck my friends... I once heard it said
“No one ever died from TOO much exercise!”
Sure hope that's right... wish me luck!
Stick To Your Convictions
Stick to your convictions
Don’t ever back away
Tell it like it is
Say all you have to say.
When you have a chance to meet success
Stick to your convictions
And surely if you do what’s right
You’ll have very few restrictions.
So knuckle down , apply yourself
Be the best that you can be
If you stick to your convictions
Your success you’ll guarantee.
The safest way you can succeed
And live up to your predictions
Is to work real hard, but most of all
Stick to your convictions.
Stick To the Confines.
Post-modern society i’m feelin’ afflicted,
confined a predestined identity – i’m restricted,
what I preach and practice – contradicted,
due to the confines I mimic and pick, waiting for what the Mayan’s predicted,
the revealing, the coming clean, tell us what the hieroglyphs depicted,
we’re all looking for direction, collective unconscious became misted,
many hearts and minds twisted, our souls blistered,
instead of caring and sharing, we’re all tight fisted,
people starve, people are killed, people are tortured and it’s as if we all personally wished it,
maybe i’m just a mis-fit,
maybe my points fleeting and you missed it....
wake up
wake up
wake up.
Always been blessed with “stick-to-it-ness”
Got it from my dear old dad
He once rode a bike three hundred sixty miles
Took four days each way, egad!
At any age, that's quite an accomplishment
But my dad was sixty years old
From Montreal to Toronto and back again
A feat so gruelling, so bold
A wee one of ten back in nineteen forty-six
Didn't hit me till many years later
The impact of his enormous accomplishment
It then seemed a whole lot greater
Been telling this proud tale wherever I go
Bout inheriting his “stick-to-it-ness”
Don't think I can even come close to matching
The resolve and dedication he possessed
Stick To Jesus
“And we know that all things work together
                for good to those who love God,
                to those who are the called
                according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28
When your hope is weak and flickering,
as a candle that’s dimly lit,
don’t listen to devil’s whispering,
trust in Jesus and don’t quit.
In the darkness of night you’re wondering,
if you have any strength to cope.
God allows pain and suffering
for a reason beyond our scope.
Are you facing a difficult trial
or experiencing a loss?
God is testing us for a while,
separating gold and dross.
It might seem, solitude is unbearable,
but with God you are not alone,
and your Father in Heaven is capable
to transform into bread a stone.
Stick to Jesus! He knows better.
Our problems are not God’s whim.
With His blood Christ has written a letter,
saying that we are free in Him.
Stick to Jesus, His word and His promise,
no matter what life brings.
Seek in Him alone your solace
and surrender to Him all things.
Not forever distress and sorrow,
not forever your bitter tears.
Look! It’s coming, the day of tomorrow,
which will banish your angst and fears.
Nightmares and daydreams
They but stall your climb, stick to
Bare necessities
Of a centered heart and mind
Building dreams in the moment
Stick To Your Guns
Men can doctor things
the unreal can be real
fake and duplicates exist
impossible can be possible
the lie can be adored truth
the world can be yellow
when it is a rainbow of enigma
but stick to your guns
and fire bullets of truth
hold the banner of light
wave white cloth of peace
even when the whole world
is wrong and all are there
be alone with the truth
one man right and firm as rock
can save whole world wrong
the Angel of truth watching
will crown you with victory
Always stick to the pain
How do you run away from what doesn't chase you?
In the middle of dead butterflies that makes you smile.
Too white to fetch, too bored to care.
Who cares? The only thing that makes me gasp is my missing nude heels.
The lights! They become too blue when you look at them.
The red? Well, they remain dark.
Let me, don't hold me back kemzy.
I really want to step out, midnight brings the quiet noise of nature's feast.
Love? You joke too much to say that around me.
It's for hopeless seekers. I always say what's the point if it's not going to last.
That sly witch says " what is life if there's no chance to want and be wanted. If pains hurts, try love. I'd rather stick to the fire of it.
I want to be sure of what burns me
I want to know and recognise the feeling, the warmth.
Those butterflies, are they really dead? Are they gross? Are they things to mourn about? Because I would rather.
Should I let them mourn their wretched old man in peace or take the lead in mourning my apple and never ending hatred for the person he never was.
Why did my chair stop spinning?
Did he wake up to stop it?
Would be fun if I could see him?
Who cares? You do, I don't.
I really can't find those nude heels.
Lost, broken, that's the only shoe he should see from the ground, too bad I can't find them.
He's not going to see us.
Premium Member please stick to the story
Please stay on track Dad, the young mother said.
She wanted him to stick with the story others had read.
As soon as she was out of sight her twins pleaded with him.
Tell us the story of how they bashed and hanged Uncle Jim.
I heard that! Their mother said, now leave your grandpa alone.
So he got real quiet, and told them not to share when they got home.
He told them the story of a rat snake who ate children, dogs and lamps.
They were so frightened, they could not sleep, glad he was their gramps!
Hope Must Stick To You
Hope is what you live for
and you wouldn't want anything more
you'll be happier than ever before
and you'll be able to reach your goal,
Life has a beginning and has an end
it's easy to live but hard to mend
but always thank God for what ha sends
and live your life truly and never pretend.
Premium Member Stick To the Script
Jesus died
for not sticking
to the script;
what makes us
uncomfortable
too often
we crucify--
protection is
armor of
the ego--
though a
winner
of battles,
a loser of
wars….
