Hockey Time

You know that summertime is gone
when a chill is in the air
when snow is in the forecast
		and hockey sticks appear
when kids with toques and earmuffs
		show up on every street
		stick-handling wayward tennis balls
		on tar and on concrete
		when flags of northern nations
		unfurl on jacket backs
		with favored players featured
		on shirts and on backpacks.

		In Canada we’re hockey nuts
		we cannot get enough.
The only time it’s out of thought
		is when the sledding’s tough.

It’s hockey, hockey, hockey, for nine months of the year
from Long Beach to the Grand Banks, Point Pelee to Ellesmere.
In this the blooming of the North, this land that we hold dear,
There’s talk of other sports at times but it’s hockey we revere.

The stars, the stats, the standings,
		team trades and injuries
		consume us all the season
		and test our expertise.
		In cubicles and staff rooms
		at desks and boardrooms too
the talk is all of hockey pools
and who is picking who –
		Russian or Canadian
		American or Czech
		Swede or Ukrainian
		Finn, German or Slovack.

And when we’re old with fires banked
		and we forget most else
we’ll hanker back to storied games
and golden stars whose very names
		excite our feebled pulse:
		Hull, Lemieux and Richard
		Beliveau and Fuhr
		Orr and Howe and Harvey
		Gretzky and Lafleur
We'll hear again the rising roar
		And then the call
		He shoots, he scores.

East Coast Mlb

one hundred sixty two games
knowing all the players names
follow scores best we can
west coast games bring sandman
we'll watch the standings
keep track of innings
after all-star game it ignites a flame
winners will win and losers fall to shame

The Fathers

The holders of custom and bearings
The teachers of manners and sayings
The steerers of the leanings and standings
The givers of surnames and blessings
The fabric that makes priests and kings
Are fathers in their fatherhood and fathering

You are both shield and guide
In whom sons and daughters confide
You are both scion and pride
Of the society you are placed to abide
You are both the breadth and stride
Of your kind’s spread; far and wide

Be today celebrated but ever honored
For all you have selflessly offered
Good and faithful service unwaivered
May your steps be Divinely ordered
And likewise armed and armoured
For whatever storm to be weathered

God be present in your sunshine and rain
God give you joy for your pain
May all your toils bring you gain
Scale hills as though traversing plains
And all in all firmly remain
Godly and righteous without stain

HAPPY FATHERS DAY.

How about this for OPENERS
You STOLE my heart away
With SIGNS of love and caring
A sparkling two way PLAY

You guys are all a HIT with me
You're WINNERS every time
Raising me in the STANDINGS
Such loyal FANS of mine

Since I was just a ROOKIE poet
Had myself quite a RUN
Feel like a real VETERAN now
This GAME is so much fun

Appreciate every seven STAR rating
This poetry fits like a GLOVE
Quite a CHANGE in one short year
Above AVERAGE kind of love

So I'm gonna keep on SLUGGING
Aiming for the FENCES
Hoping to hit a poetic HOME RUN
And SCORE with all your senses

Moments

I journey across time to get what is rightfully mine;
I journey across time to view the galaxies from the hill
and absorb the sweet scents from succulent grape blowing from a distance.

The stars are shining and the moon is standings still
And I have something wonderful to share with all of you over there
The tree is growing and its branches are spreading and I am still standing
strong because this is the best fruit they have on the land

Come with me to galaxy and let me show you what I see
Come with me to the galaxy and have dinner with me
Billions of stars decorated in the sky are holding the universe
Together with hands, foot, caps and limbs rubbing against the other

A myriad of stars are singing to a spectacular rhythm in the sky,
with thousands of galaxies moving in one direction, pulling the magnetic field along with an eye-catching imagery clumped together it’s mesmerizing and captivating

I see them flying in and out, not knowing what they are about
they are shooting rockets in the sky but they are not landing anywhere.
But the galaxy is still riding along singing a bountiful song.

I can hear them screaming above their head, I thought that somebody was dead, but it was a grand jubilee for those hiding in the tree.

They have just lifted the injunction that has grounded the plane in the skies; they have just lifted the injunction so that all can travel without fear.
They have lifted the injunction so that everyone can purchase the controversial goods that was left hanging in the atmosphere

Come and journey with me to the sky and watch the stars dancing.

Take the Washington Metro, and get off at the Navy Yard.
Getting to and from Nationals Park is not hard.
The baseball team is making itself a name.
They send the other teams off losing in shame.
The Nats have been winning games at a torrid pace.
Have you seen the standings lately? They are in first place.
Washington baseball teams have been known for futility.
No Washington team has won a pennant since 1933.
If they won this year, wouldn’t that be good to see?

Proud Someday

Today I was filled with anger,
Going down to the cyber,
In a path brewing brown smoke,
As if to look down upon me,
A four wheeled hissed chocolate smolder to my structure,

I couldn’t see a meter away,
Why do people have to act this way?
I know my standings,
That kind of abuse is far from humanity,
She stared through the tinted windows
With a mocking laughter,

My long slit leso skirt turned color,
I seemed barefooted with my sandals resembling the gravel,
I turned a mine digger that sooner,
My heart was frayed to pieces,
Bestowing the pain to all my cubicles,
Am tired of excuses from this life,
That deprives me sanity to live,

The monster is always there to destruct my peace,
No matter what I do is the same phase,
Am eating time to change this fate,
A day I will have my ride,
I won’t have to showcase my pride,

The day I offload this state of a beggar,
But still respect my roots altogether,
You don’t have to worry of the struggle,
Anticipate victory at the end of this gamble,
One day I’ll plane with you along,
Be sure that day I will ink a new song,
To remember the wrecked artery I have walked along

My love is only of a man's heart and God's will.
It is deep on the inner self I love one the most.
There, that even in darkness my light flickers a smile.
And the emotions feel what they feel.
The light of the brightest and greatest thing one can know.
The love of a person's heart known from deep within thier soul.
The love of one I ravish her curves with excite.
Like that of a Winston Cup standings I thump, thump, thump.
My motor race high RPM's my heart beats out of control.
Drive me, drive me, I scream of love.
Ravish my every need in your pleasure of rage.
But love me none the less cause it be all you get from me.

Turnin 60

As I begin to fall asleep
I start dreaming
About a room I am
Sitting in
And lots of people
Are laughing,
And children are screaming
Happy birthday
Aunt Charlotte
By my family and friends
All start singing.
What a surprise.
What a joy
For everyone to come
To my 60th birthday party.
It will be fun.
The dream go on as they
Bring out the special cake.
For all of us to eat.
As I sit in my happy
Birthday seat.
To me it feel grand,
It feels like a blessing,
Because in my sixty years
I have endured a few of
God testing.
As my dream go on
Standings in the back
Part of the room,
I see a shadow of my daddy,
And Pat and also Mendysue.
And look it my late husband
Jerry.
Even after death there love
For me they still carry.
As I fell love in this room
These words my daddy
Always said , so I would
Like you all to repeat.
Our Father who Art in Heaven
As we join hands.
First I want to thank you
Lord for this food and family
And friends ,
Who you blessed me with.
Because not all like me is
Lucky enough to have..

Jack and Jill

I've never seen forests so small
as the ones I see in your eyes.
I could get lost in them forever
but could never stop asking "Why?"

Why do they look back at me
when i seem such a bore?
Why do they look as if to say
"I just wish I knew you more"?

Why do princes get the princess
and why do the boorish get the boring?
Why are rules made that way,
and why do they seem to be breaking?

Why am I not being shunted,
shooed away, threatened or hunted?
Why are you so willing to overlook roles,
overlook standings, classes, and rules?

You're the definition of immortal beauty,
it will never fade from your face
and the melody that charms me happy
will never fade from your voice.

So why is this goddess sitting with this mortal?
any vague allure I have will fade,
and she will still be an unmelting snowflake
in this world -
                    - an inferno -
destroying all anyone's made.

So has a frog found a princess?
why must one change to suit the other?
Maybe when they kiss
no one changes,
instead they both forget their lines
drop their roles and leave their masks behind.

Maybe Jack and Jill will say
"Forget the hill"
to see where life will take them.

Organic and Non Organic Foods

Organic and Non-Organic Foods
By: Ramona Stephens
Organic Food is the very best to eat.
Take care of your organs and your teeth.
No Fertilizers, No Pesticides.
Just White Rice with Fresh Vegetables on the side.
Do not inject Tomatoes, Apples, Bananas or Mangoes.
Grow what you eat, eat what you grow.
Naturally grown Fruits and Vegetables is the way to go.

Synthetic Fertilizers may hurt your tummy.
If Non-Organic was good bees would use it in honey.
Take care of your body and watch what you eat.
Organic Foods is nutritious for long standings on your feet.
So once again grow what you eat and eat what you grow
Naturally grown vegetables is the way to go.

My Beautiful Cut

So many depths of your love went untouched, sweet dreams gracefully
caress the most uncertain parts of my mind. Countless moments of unfilled time do not
discourage my good nature, i will love you anyways, you are my inspiration
to trust. Foolish ways of my own immaturity reflect a full heart
with empty arms, cruel intentions that you were better untouched have eternally faded
away, nothing compares to my beautiful pain. The suffering is encrested deep, the pleasures
od our past defeats the odds, a reunion of happiness is in pursuit. Only time will tell the
overall standings of the decisions we've made, my only wish is when you think of good times
that my name isn't in vain.

Personifation of Ploutos Trophy of Guilded Men

the "Tournament Of Guilded Men"
a tournament that is held the same day in
different regions of the world. The best of
two regions unite and the very best showcase
there talents in Grappling performances. each match
is scored by both current, former and future Professionals
and fans weigh-in with fan voting via th e internet.
within a twenty four hour peiord shows around the world send in results from matches ranked as best to worst.
The Pro Guilds vote crries the weight:
only using the fan vote to break ties.
The winners are then
Seeded according to Championships held, Value to the profesion.
and there current standings within there company and companies.
Companies can protest the officail seedings and refuse to advertise:
until there champion has either been moved up or elimanated. Five spots are opened to nomanation by those involved with promotion. Clout vootes can use the current seeding
and the Corporate Value Seeding.
This puts both rankings in opposition
and creates the actuall matches. Regional Trophies will show the Cobatants seedings. Are some trophies can be united to contest an officail dicsion. The combined trophacion to be
showcased in the rubbermatch after the Orginal show has concluded.
The officail winner, my Take the Prize, and still not

For Example, The number one promotion in the Worlds Champio might win the Grande Final: But due
to the collabaration of
the Differant Companies ( has to be an Alliance of four)
The promoters can unite
to
after the Orginal contest to crown who they feel should represent the Trophy.
both winners will then Co-own the Tile: with
no one company to have superiority due to there overall value.

Drawn Into the Maze

Drawn into the maze

   Drawn into the maze
days persued its chases
in labyrinths ways
chart less paths emeshed with
darkened strain within
the living life you’ve entered

multiplicity of moving days
footsteps tred in thresholds nearing
silent hues left standing
flowering thoughts yet not ready

from whats been taught
past somber paths that torment
change of mind with hearts unsteady
leading paths to finding gates
open roads to open thoughts
within its standings
lifts you up takes your arm
and leads you on your way
within the source with ones center
no hungry ghosts to ones restraining
no more demanding and complaining
the source of fears ebated
within the light extended

Premium Member A Game With a Team With No 'Nick' Name

Wearing the silver and blue

Lone stars with loyal honesty that is true

Inviting those dressed in burgundy and yellow

With the mission ‘keep the politicians mellow’

For a Thanksgiving meal

Where the division standings are the big deal

Due to a tie

Eagles at day's end will say goodbye

To first place

Until Monday when brotherly love builds its case

Against the hawks

Underdogs right now by those who use chalk

But after the holiday dinner

Who will be watching this match for a winner?

Just a close game

With the feds having no name

But there is another reason

Why this gridiron duel is pleasing

A nice electric shot

Of the cover model advertising spot

Famed crowd friendly supportive group

Cheering in an attractive uniform suit

Having a certain look

Luring using their physical image like a fishing hook

Guys no longer asking, ‘can she cook?’

These stimulating flashing lights

From the squad protecting their knights

May stop festive fights

Or wake up someone who momentary may not be all right

Since the beast who is calm

After diffusing his egotistical bomb

Still has a mind

And the time

To be thankful and kind

All due to the high kicking line

Or numerous glasses of wine

Win or lose

It is hard to refuse

A football team playing the boys

While helping kids write to the North Pole for new toys
