Best Speak Up Poems

Speak Up

When you take a stand and say what you choose,
Without hesitation, or being confused,
Not holding a fear of what others may say,
But to say what you mean in every way,
It liberates your soul, by setting you free,
No longer a prisoner of insecurity,
But a teacher to others who sometimes hold back,
By seeing in you the strength that they lack,
Releases their fears and doubts that they hold,
And helps them now see its ok to speak bold,
Just do it with dignity, kindness and love,
Give all of your fears to our friends up above,
Don’t compromise yourself to collude with the rest,
Speak truth in your words and remain at your best,
If others don’t like the control that they lack,
Because of your strength to speak truth and talk back,
Let that be their issue, don’t lose who you are,
Keep making that stand and you’re sure to go far.
We all have the right to express our beliefs,
Our ideas, opinions, happiness and grief,
But we must allow others to do just the same,
Respect them and their wishes without drama and pain.
To allow them to shame you or belittle your voice,
Says “its ok I don’t mind” like you don’t have a choice,
And the more you keep quiet, the more they control,
Giving up who YOU are so that THEY can feel whole.
It just doesn’t make sense to allow this to be,
I'm no better then you, but your no better then me.
So keep trying hard to find that strength deep within,
And Let old habits go, so new ones can begin.

Attempts to cull the human unborn have caused mass controversy
despite the widespread damage this can cause to the population
under stable growth moving forward killing the weaker of our group

Whom are unable to defend themselves
from this violent abuse system ever originating
crushing morals branded as an inferior being

Devaluing it's space of origin with these loveless acts of aggression
towards another comes these deeply engraved remarks
twisting truth turns venom and drinks from the souls of those innocent bodies

Sacrificed as something rejected unworthy of love
murdered not being up to standard classified worthless
challenges the political role as lawless agendas creep

The wide scale damage this causes on society
at large it mounts up to an industry with inbuilt uncertainty
revisits our future as the signs of chaos condemning basic rights to death

Speak Up

Either from constricted throat or hesitated poise,
I find that creepy silence a deafening noise!
Like bees it buzzes in the core of my frazzled mind
Speak up, my dear, if you can be so kind!

See, like a red red rose withering to gray,
I find myself fading day after day
Left out to wonder what your mind may do,
I blush like a virgin nun, but tingle blue

If eyes only had a big, fat mouth
We’d be married with children and a fine, nice house
But love, eyes can only do so much!
If I feel mine water, I will hide it with a punch!

For cat’s sake—snap out of this frustrating state!
Look alive, help us both feel great!
I promise if I wither like that tearful rose
I will spray you with my not-so-silent hose!

Speak Up For Love

If there's anything worth saving
Or could be better done
Needed now more than ever
~Speak up for Love~

Although it stands up under pressure
And shines all by itself
In a world filled with hatred
We could all use a little help

There's too often a deafening silence
In the parts that matter much
No reason we should hide it
~Speak up for Love~

The power is within you
Though courage lags at times
To bring about a needed change
To all the hearts and minds

Over years has lost some meaning
But still pulls through in a crunch
Say it now before it's not allowed
~Speak up for Love~

A pen is like a voice
It speaks to the heart
Unlike other voices
It has an immortal part
It can last as long
as the paper where it has writen
It could be proclaimed
Or by lovers secretly hidden
Pen and paper make a wonderful team
Saving imaginations recording dreams
A pen can define a station in life
The leader of a nation or a devoted wife
From places of dispare a pen was wittness
When patriots declared their independence
And Magna Carta dared to defend us
Inspirational writing there to cleanes us
This pen we have mightier than the sword
The voice of reason, message from the Lord
A way to reach the rest of the world
Or just one person just one girl

Never Be Afraid To Speak Up

Big brown eyes and long brown hair
Shes so beautiful it isn't fair.
With every step she seems to glow
she's so pretty but she doesn't know...

High school jock with long strong legs
hes wasting his years drinking down kegs.
The beautiful girl stands near by
but she can't approach him she's far to shy...

Watching this girl for many years
scrawny boy with large round ears.
Big huge glasses that cover his eyes
want's to talk to the girl but hes far to wise...

Scrawny boy with the large round ears decides
hes going to overcome one of his fears
he walks up to the girl and asks her her name
just as the jock scores a goal that wins the game...

He tries again but she sends him away
she says she doesn't want to see him any day.
He walks away with his heart broken
shut down just after the moment he had spoken....

Beautiful boy with the golden skin
every girl want's to be with him.
After watching the jock break the beautiful girl's heart
all he could do was watch her fall apart....

Beautiful girl looks his way
This was what he'd wished for every day
but now many years later, looking back
he remembers himself the scrawny boy
and how she made his heart crack....

This is a message to give everyone a chance
don't judge people with a once over glance.
Treat everyone right because its the best thing to do
You'll live your life happy the whole way through.

Life Lease

A gift from above
Made with love

Life to be had
Too bad it was sad

Hard to deal
Never feeling healed

A messed up head
Thinking alive or dead

Can't do it anymore
Hell what life has it store

Not Saying Goodbye
But It's time to fly

Now time for peace
Life treated like a lease

Wait why so many tears
They didn't know about my fears.

They shouldn't feel sad about my leaving
I'm at peace and they are grieving.

With limericks better think naughty
Of triple X, not vaguely flirty -
With mind wide open,
With clues clear spoken -
Thus unconditionally dirty.

Speak Up

When your heart feels as empty as your wallet
Depression, obsession whatever you wanna call it…
When you lose it and all you wanna do is…
Sip some booze and go cruisin’…

But you can’t go far without a car.
Can’t go to the bar because you lost your card.
When everything around you feels so hard.
When you lose yourself you’re less than par.
The future seems so far like a blinking star.

Listen: all we need to do is live for now…
Try to by proud, ignore the rain clouds.
Ignore the hate when it’s turned up loud,
Just block it out then there is no doubt.
When you’re tired stand up
			And work it out.

Push the crowds be a crowd pleaser,
No-one cares if you’re a loud sneezer.
Can’t fit your shoes no matter the size…
			Of the sneaker.
Remember: You have your own voice
		So use that speaker….

Speak Up

Don't want to be a bother,
Don't want to come between
Don't want to cause distraction
Don't want to make a scene.

Though stating really clearly-
I fear there's something wrong and
If i can't state it here
Where else do I belong?

There's problems in society and
I ask with much respect
To voice your words with wisdom and
also help correct.

One world that we all live in and
Hallejuah just for that!
Cannot be frivolous
Don't want to be a prat.

There are many social issues and
It's time that we address
The filthy greedy rich and
people are suppressed.

People are not happy and
It affects the universe
To get to what is forward
Sometimes we must reverse.

So let's back it up and
highlight what is real
I empathise with others and
Can understand what others feel.

There are some things I won't tolerate
For my world is your world too and
Your world is my world
So let all of us pursue...

Peace and happiness
Here all are resuming?
Just don't ever forget
We are all human.

Indeed people are special and
all so unique
Strong in a way
Another so meek.

We can do our bit
Let's get back to grass roots
To change what is wrong and
Societies Attributes....

Don't want to be a fool
Don't want to be a propriety
Don't want to be a number
No faith in this society....

But I believe in you!

Speak Up

Everyday,
We saw eachother,
Spoke,
And kept walking..
Little did you know,
I had a crush on you;
But telling you was making me die slow…
We’d eye eachother at Track practice,
Every afternoon..
Not knowing that I’d be leaving soon..
Not knowing that the feelings I had
For you,
Were mutual;
It could’ve been,
Should’ve been,
And if we would’ve spoke up,
We would’ve been…
But now,
We’ve shared our feelings,
Between both hearts,
And it feels like we should’ve
Spoken up from the start,
But hey;
Better late than never,
But never late is better…
What hurts worse,
Saying something and wishing you hadn’t
Or
Not saying something and wishing you had…

Speak Up Sister

She walks in your shadow and falls at your feet, trying to connect to the rhythm of your hearts beat
She calls you just to say hi and all you give is a Hi five the deeper she gets into this game the more her pain becomes insane, can I, she start over beg be her first card she plays, he looks at her and says was never a start to begin with an that’s what he ends with.
Sharp pain to the chest my/her left hand couldn’t care less, turns tables on him an burns him with words from her soul
Showing him what a black hole looks like, reminding him about his pass showing his black ass…
When did men become so blind, or is it freedom that rewrote your mind, a women’s worth does not lay between her legs
See her/me we can bring life to this earth and take it away just like that by the click of our finger.
It takes a Goddess to run this world and a man to build it for her/me.
So how deep do you want this black hole to be?

Speak Up

Speak Up
Say what you mean
Get it all out
Don`t leave things left
With any doubt
Tell them you need them
Tell them you care
Say that I Love You
And you will be there
Open your Heart
True Love is Rare

Speak Up

Burdens as far as the eyes can see
so much misorey a person can be
through the mistakes and lies
traped in a hole.. i feel confined
although not in so deep
we all have the world at our feet
so listen and speak loud
for there is not a space for a cloud
judgment can be minor or none
we should all look at the world..
we can have so much fun

The common phaze.. "easeir said then done"
could be an understatement
or could mean more then words conbined
we all have a dream
how bout we live it?
we ponder about our problems today
and not a care for tomorrow..

so listen up speak now
for the world today is living
not us dying
we have life we have meaning
lets drop our bags
and continue for the search
for that one true feeling
of being alive..

Hush and Be Quiet

Hush and be quiet.

There is no importance to your words,
Your voice echoes in the dimly lit room.
The empty room.
No one cares to listen.

Hush and be quiet.

You deserve no sympathy.
They’ll drown you with your voice,
“It’s your fault.”
No one wants to listen.

I want to scream.
Take my voice back from its coffin.
The silence is what is making me break.
It roots itself in my chest and expands,
Expands until the pain is agonizing.

Hush and be quiet.

What are the consequences?
Will they understand?
Do they have to?

Hush and be quiet.

I am a kettle coming to a boil.
I have no obligation,
But I have the right.
I have the right to be heard.

Hush and stay quiet!

I have a voice that cannot be suppressed,
One that will not be repressed,
Not by you and not by me.

“We do not want to hear.
This is not important.
You are not important.”

You do not get to take,
Nor can you dictate.
My voice is my own.
I have the ability to grow.

"I said no.”
