The Seven Deadly Sins Revisited

Wrath
Do not be angry with your fellow friend
It tears you apart
And, it puts stress on your heart

Greed
No need to own more than you already have
Resolve your passion for those in need
Step up and be the one to lead

Sloth
The Truth of the Word is written
Take heed so you will not it take lightly
For the Words are not meant slightly

Pride
God gave us two meanings
We can choose to be more than we should
Or make better choices to not be misunderstood

Lust
A powerful emotion this is, takes control
Thoughts in the mind are intense and disrupting
Prayer to the Higher Power will be the only way to interrupting

Envy
Submit not to it
No concern of others’ wealth, you have what you need
With that, you will succeed

Gluttony
Waste not your food, drink, or belongings
Those who have nothing, distribute your supply
Chances are you will get by.

Seven Deadly Sins

Suicidal motions following this melody
With pain comes ecstasy
Blood flowing instantly
Forming a beautiful monstrosity

Rage brings insanity
Uncontrollable profanity
The imminent loss of sanity
A horrifying calamity

Anger shadows envy
A need for this empty entity
A deep void inside of me
Filling it through gluttony

Coming from inside
My flaring pride
Moving every emotion aside
I can’t help but abide

I know what I need
To thrive through my senseless greed
To arise and succeed
To take the air you breathe

Sloth sits behind my head
His voice slithers, cold and dead
Making decisions that I dread
Weighing me down to never leave bed

I am alone upon many
But women are plenty
I desire all over any
Lust drives my energy

The words I speak are fake
Lust is my sake
Clothes fall as my hands will take
Nightfall has shown my sinful mistake

Wrath sets my soul ablaze
A state of craze
A possibly eternal phase
Causing terror in countless ways

Horror spreads through lands of virtue
Every intent to hurt you
Madness’s breakthrough
You know it is so true

Here are my seven deadly sins
Nestled below my skin
Where to begin
When to give in

The Seven Deadly Sins

So far everybody knows that the seven deadly sins are Greed, Gluttony, Anger, Sloth, Jealousy (aka: "Envy"), Lust, and Pride. All seven deadly sins have been around since the 18th century and beyond. and when everybody's talking about the seven deadly sins, it doesn't go away. All seven deadly sins are like the seven evil exes in the August 2010 movie "Scott Pilgrim Vs The World" starring Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kieran Culkin, Mae Whitman, and Alison Pill. In real reference to the seven deadly sins, they're like those of Matthew Patel-Lust, Lucas Lee-Gluttony, Todd Ingrim-Greed, Roxanne "Roxie" Richter-Sloth, the Katayanagi twins (Kyle and Ken)-Wrath and Envy, and Gideon Graves-Pride. All of those vices have taken a toll on everybody in the world, even in the United States of America and Canada. And in other words, the seven deadly sins are like the League of Evil Exes; the Seven Evil Exes were here to kill Scott Pilgrim to control the future of Ramona flowers' love life and stuff. Come to think of it, the seven deadly sins are also known for controlling the lives of every human being, especially the happily married couples and beyond. Some of those sins are forgiven, but some of them aren’t. Or whatever that means. And if the seven deadly sins continue to wreak havoc on every human being on this planet, there’s no telling what bad thing might happen next.

The Seven Deadly Sins

Seven deadly sins:
Pride, Greed, Lust, Anger, Envy,
Gluttony and Sloth.
No altruism found here;
One-way street to selfishness.

Pride, Greed...self-centered.
All goals directed inward
To please only one...
Taker-Greed grabs, swindles all;
Boaster-Pride...smug, but lonely.

Lust and Gluttony;
Human over-indulgence
Of diverse cravings.
Lust for flesh...Gluttony, food.
Both are selfish abusers.

Anger and Envy
Sad sins of self-indulgence;
They feed each other.
Envy hates...wants what it sees;
Anger hates...wants its own way.

Sloth..non-creator
lives to just breathe, eat, sleep, be.
Only take, no give.
No motion and no action.
To be; means only to be.

Seven deadly sins:
Pride, Greed, Lust, Anger, Envy,
Gluttony and Sloth.
No altruism found here;
One-way street to selfishness.

Seven Deadly Sins

DEADLY SIN- LIE

SALIGIA,
Or the seven deadly Sins,
Covers all the probabilities
Of peccadilloes,
That could be committed by the HUMANITY.

Lust
glows up within a man
It is like a sentiment
that can not be brought under control
It can make a rich man a refugee,
Because this sin deprives him of his mores and morals,
And makes him do all the wrongs,
Just to fulfill his desires.

Pride
 We all have two faces,
We cover our real image, cover our wounds
Not admitting the pockmarks in our character,
We always keep our real emotions incarcerated
And show the world a conceited face,
Forgetting our hard days.
We assassinate out fears,
And show as if we are the winners of all the races.

Greed
IT develops like a voracious thirst
It creeps like a climber,
Ingests all our emotions
demolishing us from the inside
The want seems to be endless,
Just like wanting a sunrise during a sunset.

Envy
It is like a bane that shrivels us
IT is like a sweet poison that never makes us start the race,
We keep our focus on some other person,
Diminishing our own soul
When we put every thought under rest,
It is too late,
And we never can achieve the wanted position.

Gluttony
Its intake seems endless,
Makes our mind more materialistic,
When we suffer from it,
Everything seems fantastic,
When we realize that
What it has really done to us,
NO one but we are dejected.

Sloth
The body throws out all the energy,
The anesthetizing decline
Converts into redundancy,
That leads us to reverie,
We never try to uplift our position,
Rather we choose to mix ourselves with the ground,
To become a person never ever to be found.

Anger
It rises slowly in our body,
Bubbling our minds
Most of the time the reason is
Incomprehensible
Emotions gone with the wind,
Control converted into ash and dust,
We lose hope, life has no reason
We are into disloyalty and sheer treason.

But then,
All of this consists of one common
Misdemeanor,
That is – Lie and false hood,
It is more than these 7 sins,
It is above all the wrongdoings,
It leads to one sin, to another,
Leading a man to decay
And sentiments to be smothered.

Wronged--Seven Deadly Sins

Thank you for coming on short notice, sir.
A drink, perhaps, before we speak of her?
No? To bus’ness then. Ending civil strife
Requires me to move against my wife.
I trust that you will note I’m not to blame
When you have heard how I’ve been put to shame.
She scolds me when I’ve had too much to eat,
Objects when I explain my right to cheat,
Upbraids me when I sleep ‘til after noon,
Laughs at my goal to own the sun and moon,
Reproves me when I covet what is theirs,
Knocks my hauteur and all my “put-on airs.”
My fury at this treatment you must see;
I need your legal skills to set me free.

Poems: the Seven Deadly Sins -Wrath and Anger

~Wrath and Anger

Oh how much Wrath wishes It could kill you
It hates you with all Its soul
It hopes to watch your face turn blue
Wrath’s heart the color of burnt charcoal
A harsh word stirs up Its rage and hate
It is inside of us all, waiting for all eternity
Its anger opens up like a red floodgate
The hate will build until it spills in actions of insanity
It craves ultraviolence and sadistic nature
You will scream and claw when it’s present
Your moral will turn into black vapor
Wrath will make you feel like you’re living in endless torment
It feeds on the happiness and hope inside you

Wrath varies from person to person
Some keep Wrath locked up tight
And some feed the wrath like fire in an arson
And some just try to fight
Your life is up for theft
When Wrath has you in Its cage
Killing and killing till there’s nothing left
                        Nothing left but Its rage
                           Nothing left but the wrath
You'll be dismembered alive in hell for your crimes
For thou not know that anger is a sin
God will disown you for not holding back your anger at times
You will make sure to pray when you see the devils grin.

Seven Deadly Sins

They look like they best things
When in reality they'll torture you
Until you're dead inside
There seven deadly sins were my life

The man who stood by me wasn't the one to blame
Although he made me feel more pride
Then anyone would consider human
And then I got too cocky
And he left me for the terrible things I'd done

It seemed so unreasonable
Now that I look back it was completely understandable
When we were together I would look for things he didn't have
I would go after every man
With a large stack of cash
I'd even sell my body

I couldn't see what I did wrong
So I wanted him to feel my angry wrath
When in reality I was insecure and jealous
Because his lover now seems to be
His better half

Day by day I would throw myself away
I always seemed to get more wasted
Than the day before
Because each day I loathed myself more and more

Other days I would refuse to move
The couch seemed to be my death sentence
Not moving seemed to be a must
It was a matter of time before my cat would collect piles upon piles of dust

By the time of my departure
I was 500 pounds larger
They had to dig a special grave
For the stupid little mess I made
Because of the seven deadly sins
That got in the way

The Seven Deadly Sins

If you laugh at anger and allow some pride,
You may not be quite the same person inside;
If you ignore a little greed, just to yourself,
And inspect sloth in worship as an act of self,
You’ll become lazy more often than you like,
Expecting no consequences, no laborious hike,
Back to work, concern and effortful interest,
Where you do your utmost to do your best.

If you pass over that extra chocolate drop,
And let your greed compensate for your flop,
To account for the sadness in your life and day,
Then you’ll only put on weight to dribble away;
If you shine on gluttonous outbursts as good,
You’ll only validate for your happiness, food,
Which can’t love you or elevate you into meaning,
Because it’s got no warmth, presence or feeling.

And if you have sex with too many friends, people,
You’ll never see them as sensitive and capable,
You’ll never relate to them as you could or should,
And sex will become purely physical, crude,
Which will make you jealous of others’ sex lives,
Envious of their relationships, hideouts and dives,
And anger will devour your mind to place and stake,
Everybody else as wrong, oh for goodness sake!

Seven Deadly Sins At School

SEVEN DEADLY SINS AT SCHOOL

Parents give their kids what they feel
Is training worthwhile and valuable,
But it often shows up at school
As behavior which is objectionable

Stupidity in the face of simple facts, forsooth,
Is widespread, and stops kids learning truth.

Stubbornness in attitude is horrible,
Because it means no progress is possible.

Spoiled behavior is something of which to be rid,
For nobody is going to like such a kid.

Boastfulness and comparing with a weaker kid,
Just the way dad and mum always did.

Dirtiness has no reason to exist, try soap and a comb,
Yet it exists, presumably at the child’s home.

Bullying is my favourite for extermination,
And it begins with parents’ self-examination.
.
Bad-manners, for which the child can thank his parents,
And please do so, for they have been aberrants .

Seductions of Sin

With the lusts of the world:
do I thee; threaten more?
Is this what the world has to offer;
since its originated defiance?

That set the scene for this world;
to attest and set afire,
for the rest of 'sin' to complete with such desire!

The call is strong in sin here:
am I too weak;
to resist such pleasurable temptations!?

Is it that, vainglory, do set in from the laws of God,
do I shame myself for the dishonor to self-control?
That 'sin' of the lusts now turns to otherworldly desires;
that the dark spirit brought to surmount humanity!?

Voracity, of man for the embellishing of the world,
is it glamorized in thy eye?
Being envious of what others do have;
only does it dispassionate me too?

And does, avidity, bring on our destruction;
from the wraths and vainglories of man?
I have a chance to survive when darkness has swallowed up;
the virtues that have been set out in front of humanity?

To battle, the end, when that day does it come;
is to bring great sorrows upon the world?

Lust
Over burns
Lovers in turn
Full of disdain
Wrath
Feeds fire
Gluttony
Death, and despair
Greed
Just breeds
Raw rampant
Inequity
Sloth
Negates
Energies place
Wastefully spaced
Envy
Decries
Ego’s dark side
Truths, never lies
Pride
Hard hide
Unearned burn
Circle soon turned

Seven Deadly Sins

My heart has become it's own person
My heart beats on just to torture my aching mind
Everyday my heart tricks my mind into
playing a game of the seven deadly sins,
My mind fails every time.

The sin of Envy-
   a sin of self-indulgence
that scorns everything
   one can't do or have.
Envy hates- feels entitled-
   whether earned or not.

Seven Deadly Sins

Infatuation with your laws
Reluctance with with your flaws
Admiration is pointless
When superiority is never less

Oblivious to your own riches
Keep adding more wishes
Now you go and guess
Unable to stop thinking, life is less

Can't accept what you can't own
A sudden change in your tone
Desire for other's happiness
Leaves you in a dark chaotic mess

The fingers are itch to hold
Fury cannot be behold
It completely darkens the mind
Leaves you painfully blind

The temptation is so wrong
Yet why the trap is so strong?
Every touch is a cold sin
And the addicts never win

An art of achieving without a hand
Slumbering in a quite land
Without a finger to lift
Desires to recieve more gifts

With hungry cold eyes
Ready to be fed by lies
No matter how much it takes
The hunger never breaks

The seven deadly sins you name
Ending in a twisted game
