Stranger
I adore you
Because you think
I said something worthwhile
And your unsolicited uplifting response
Was that I strummed a chord inside
And made you smile.
Such are the curiosities of chance
Encounters from afar…
As planets and stars collide
Among the stars.
Though we know not why,
When or where
We may be
When the unforeseen collision occurs
Changing the course and destinies
Of traveling bodies forever…
Still,
There’s no denying you and I
Were spinning uncontrollably ‘round and ‘round

As the pull of gravity brought us both

Before you can love others
Forgive yourself first

Repent first

Shy, timid, quiet, bashful, meek
World is reserved for another geek.
Yes, I can fool them, that’s for sure,
Pretending to be all sweet and demure.
But then my real self kicks in.
I jump my desk, promptly begin.
Principal comes to make me stop.
A policeman comes and makes me drop.
They all say this with a gigantic frown.
You’re the teacher, now settle down!
Don't settle for less ,for you I have the very best. Why settle for less ,when you can
have the best? I knew your thoughts ,before they entered your mind . I was there
before there before there was such a thing as time. So don't be in hurry to do
things your way. Take time to listen to what I have to say. I will direct you into all
truth. See I'm here right now , but I was there in your youth. Why settle for people
and things that don't mean you well,when you know that I love you and in me,
you'll never fail. I know how to give you what you want and what you need. I
promise you if you listen, you'll never be decieved. Don't settle for less , for you I
have the very best.
Why Settle For Half
Did the Creator not give me, eyes for which I might see
And feel His grace upon my face, with the light that sets me free
To hold my voice in silents would be a mortal sin
Why should I shrink, before those who think
They're superior for just being men
He's blessed me with the sense to know
the strength of faith and hope
So until that day, Ill say my say and find a way to cope
It's true, I read the written word
That in Gods image, He made man
Then made the woman in likewise form
To complete the perfect plan

A Woman from God
I do not cover my eyes because God gave me sight; just as he did man

I just want to write poems for You all day
What do I want to write about?
I will write about comsi comsa
Do you know what that is?
That is mediocre, so so, whatever comes whatever goes
Do you believe you will live a mediocre life?
No big waves, smooth sailing
Settle for things, anything
Don't rock the boat
Don't toot the horn
Why? You may wake somebody
Offend someone
You want to be like everybody else
Eating the same thing
Do the same motions
Sing the same tunes
No no no
Don't you want to break out of the mold
And for once live it how you want to live?
If you don't like it, step away
Don't feel like you have to hold back
to please somebody
Don't feel like you have to remain
to maintain your sanity
Lose it, my friend
You will then find it
That is the funniest thing of all
- The thing you fear the most will come upon you
when you hang on
And the thing you love the most will decide to leave you
I can't tell you why
That is just the facts of life
It tends to have the opposite effect
It is care when you don't care
And it is not care when you do care
Why? Because who needs it
Who needs you the most when you don't care
will show that person's true color

World filled with doubting minds-
Where truth is weighed behind reason
Leaving people at the crossroads-
With markings of confussion all-over
Everyone picking sides
To embrace sense of belonging,
She refused to settle for less,
Carry her light with both hands-
And walk with pride and dignity,
While many hide with shame,
She stood the ground with faith-
When many try to justify immorality,
She refused to be shaken by the strong winds-
Never wanted to be victim of circumstances
Even when many were selling their souls
People sinking to the wilderness,
She still refused to settle for less
Holding tight to her victorious plan-
Bringing forth the message....
In this journey to achieve the greater reward-
One should refuse to settle for less
Wrap-me-up in a sheet, dig a hole, dump me in!
Let me fertilize a tree, would that be a sin?
Don't want no one cryin' over a shell of me...
Let me turn back to earth and rot naturally!
Forget those wintry postcards,
where the streets are covered with snow;
'cause there ain't no snow in Texas,
the odds are better in Amarillo!
Christmas in good ol' Texas,
mild weather is such a pain;
there won't be snow for Christmas,
so i guess i'll pray for rain!
