But Seriously-The Unprecedented President

BUT SERIOUSLY
“The Unprecedented President”

Mirror mirror on the wall
Who’s the greatest President of them all?
“I am the voice beyond-beyond...
A truthful answer I must respond.”
Yes, it is the truth I quizzically quest
I ask again, who is the beauteous best?
“You are”, the mirror said with fingers crossed
The mirror knowingly well a lie was tentatively tossed.

In the mirrors, we see rewarding reflections
Layered lie's of life’s derailed defections
Illicit illusions with abundant attractions
Pompous portrayals of diplomatic distractions.

Seriously?

Give me a break! I am not that gullible!
What's this baloney you're trying to feed me?
Most ridiculous story I ever heard!
Do you truly think I was born yesterday?

Premium Member Seriously Funny

Sometimes my poetry flows like honey
and sometimes it's been misunderstood.
That's when I tend to find it seriously funny
that some take it personally, as if they should.

That's the way a narcissist's mind thinks.
They see themselves involved in everything...
The center of attention. The one getting winks
in every line of poetry or songs people sing.

It's always the guilty who reason that way,
giving themselves credit where none is due.
It's seriously funny and by the end of the day,
buried in their mind is what they misconstrue.

Im Just Going To Laugh and Not Take It Seriously

Don’t worry to much the stress will kill you
Just open yourself and let it all pass through
Don’t let a pebble turn into a boulder
Let the turmoil slip away from your shoulder

This world is always playing tricks on me
So I’m just going to laugh and not take it seriously

Let the anxiety become a total stranger
Stand up for yourself but stay clear of danger
Don’t ever make the same mistake twice
Go after the one you love no matter what the price

This world is always playing tricks on me
So I’m just going to laugh and not take it seriously

Don’t be nervous and keep your emotions bottled up inside
Stand tall and live in your own pride
Work hard but play harder so tension doesn’t take its toll
Pray to God everyday to free your soul

This world is always playing tricks on me
So I’m just going to laugh and not take it seriously

Seriously...

How do these people sleep at night,
Having taken so many lives;
So many innocents have died,
And still B.P. thrives;

Do they even have a conscience,
In their tiny little minds;
Do you think they’re all retarded,
Or maybe they’re just blind;

What the h3ll were they doing,
For two months trying to stop the flow;
Can anyone tell me please,
Cause I’d really like to know;

By now I could’ve fixed it,
With duct tape and bailin’ wire;
What the h3ll would they have done,
If the damn thing had caught fire;

Would they have just sat there,
Like stupid little men;
Or if the pipe had just collapsed,
What would they have done then;

I’m sorry but come on people,
Pull your head out of your rear;
Is it too much to ask, you think,
For them to disappear.

Don'T Take Life Too Seriously

Don’t take life too seriously
There really is no point
Running around ridiculously
To yourself you’ll disappoint

We are all just grains of sand in the hourglass of time
Our lives are all a song like a wind blowing through a chime
Days, nights, weeks, years all will come and go
Constantly moving forward, never will it slow

But some people view the race of life as a competition
To be better than all the rest is their only mission
But at the end of our lives nothing really matters
Except for the fun that we had and the happiness we’ve gathered

So do not worry and just relax
Take the weight of the world from off your backs
Go smile, laugh, and have fun instead
Let good warm thoughts fill your head

Do not be hard upon yourself
Do not worry about health or wealth
We all finish life at different times
Having different stories and different primes

Do not let anything hold you back
Do not let your world go black
Without being content with your life
Be happy and don’t give into strife

Don’t take life too seriously
There really is no point
Running around ridiculously
To yourself you’ll disappoint

But Seriously

Seriously?
You drive a Benz with chrome plated wheels,
then from the government you continue to steal,
I wonder if you’ll ever really know how it feels,
to be so hungry and not get approved for food assistance-
Seriously? Luxury living with no room for intolerable resistance.

Seriously?
You beg for forgiveness when you end a life with abortion,
when the man you thought loved you shows extortion-
There are couples out there who would adopt an orphan,
with a loving man becoming a father with his wife,
Seriously? How could you even comprehend ending a life?

Seriously?
You’re perfectly healthy on the couch with work capability,
yet you continue to collect unwarranted disability-
You claim all you deserve is secure financial stability,
when the veterans of war get denied such extravagance-
Seriously? You claim intelligence but suffer from arrogance.

Seriously?
Remember finishing your plate before leaving the table?
Well, be grateful you have food, so many are unable.
People are starving in streets with finances unstable,
yet you waste food like it’s always to be expected-
Seriously? On the streets poverty stricken families are rejected.

Seriously?
You build a second gym in the grade school you attended,
making the poor school in Detroit feel abandoned and offended-
Government assistance for education should be recommended,
teachers getting paid nothing for furthering education-
Seriously? These needy children suffer in silent desperation.

But…seriously…
What has this nonsensical world resorted to?
Making promises and not following through.

Seriously Libel : Just Some Thoughts

I close my eyes
So I can not see
I close my ears
So I can not hear
I shut my mouth
So I can not speak

I pinch my nose
So I can not smell
The awful fragrance
This government tries to emit

I peel my skin
So I can not feel
Thyself falling away
Thyself torn apart

We were supposed to head onwards
But how?
If we're looking backwards
But not forward

They said they didn't like dictatorship
But why?Why is it that we don't have freedom
The freedom to speak
The freedom to tell who you are
The freedom to tell what you are
You are all arrogant bastards
You of who speak democracy
Brought tyranny to us
You who opposed martial law
Brought it back

Is this really the way?
The way you wanted to lead us
The "tuwid na daan" you were talking about
Maybe you are just dumbfounded
Or maybe you are just dumb?

I rate you
2 out of 10
At least you got 2
Not 1

Pls do comment.

Seriously Sirius

She married a guy from Sirius?
Surely you cannot be serious
What could she know about Sirius?
A place light years away and mysterious

I mean marrying a guy from Sirius
Would hardly make one delirious
And never really a clever idea
You’d never call it ingenious

Marrying a dude from Sirius
I can but wonder why
When she could have had a guy like me
From Zeta Reticuli

Seriously

Seriously?

We're told - Peace be with you!
Are you being serious?
Have you seen the world out there,
Or have you been oblivious,
To all the strife and struggle,
To all the war and pain,
To the hatred and anger
And all the stress and strain.
There’s the poverty and sickness,
The hatred and the greed,.
All the fear and anguish
And the doubt, that’s all you need.

Again - Peace be with you?
It’s a bit mysterious
How we can be so shallow,
Apathetic and ridiculous,
If we really meant it
How different life could be
For the homeless and the hungry,
The oppressed and those in need.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful,
Oh, wouldn’t it be grand,
If instead, each one of us
Would simply lend a hand!

Cover Your Crack If You Want Me To Take You Seriously!

Today it seems it's trendy
to wear your pants real low.
You know you're hot if you can walk
and let your butt-crack show!

Maybe I'm just old-fashioned
or maybe I'm a prude...
but I can't help but thinking
that your butt-crack is just rude!

It started with the plumber,
by accident... I'm sure!
But now, my teacher turns around
Oh no! Don't tell me.........Her?

She even wears the pants real low
so when she turns away...
her butt-crack smiles back at you
and you don't know what to say!

Do you pretend it's not there?
Do you say "Hey, nice crack?"
Pray to the fashion Gods and hope
suspenders will come back!

But Seriously

But seriously...how can we deny
that life exists beyond our earthly sky?
A speck we are inside our Galaxy
and barely seen within the cosmic sea.

But seriously...why should we surmise
God's gift of life's confined beneath our skies?
When He awakened life with his own breath
it spread throughout our Universe's depth.

But seriously...life on Earth does share
a form with which most species can compare.
Within, we are the chemicals of stars
and so, all life must be the same as ours.

But seriously, though no proof is seen
     just think about a quest in a like scene;
to find one special sand grain in our seas.
Life in our cosmos, we may never seize.

But seriously...what an ordered plan
exists beyond the realm of earthly man.
To think that we as humans are alone
should surely be a concept long outgrown.

Seriously He Hit Me

He hit me, yes, he really tricked me, for he said he would never hit me, I was his lollipop, for he bit me -n- licked me, then kissed me, then took me to Italy -n- made love to me viciously in Sicily, he massaged -n- gave gifts to me, -n- wine -n- dined me, expensively his love delivers me, but my heart pays the penalty, my thoughts think independently, but my emotions fall victim to thy dependency, my words cut through his soul -n- his blows broke my nose, but not my heart, I make excuses, is it me or him to end this, where do I start, he did what he said he would never do, so I ponder on that thought, my bruises healed from when our emotions fought, can I be bought, he loves me but he hits me, the world looks at this differently, he tricked me for he said he would never hit me, I was his lollipop, for he bit me -n- licked me, then kissed me, then took me to Italy -n- penetrated me viciously in Sicily, I looked deep into his eyes, there I saw him very differently, won’t repeat this history, I love him to death, meaning I will kill his A if he ever again hits me, seriously.

You didn’t feel what I felt
When he hit me, so I’m sorry if
You look at me differently

Premium Member Seriously Bewildered

Although the scent of laughter flows
Into my wind-swept breath ,
I hesitate the call of his rugged charm
As violin notes serenade temptation’s play
To crawl upon my luscious flesh igniting
Evening's spice of an earthy maleness … I quiver.

While moonshine drapes the porch-light's view,
He pulls me nearer in warm embrace
Fondling lines of my glistened back--
How in slow-fire drift, I claim effort
To regain awareness from this hazy trance.

In a hush flush, I gently leave bewildered
Denying our first plunge with a ‘ no, not yet’…

But seriously , in the brink of hunger and craving,
My raw instinct pleaded to utter ………’yes.’
