My reflection wears a mask
Face painted to hide my tears
Camouflaging hidden fears
If anyone tries to get close
I shatter like a fallen flask
Killing all hopes

Life Sabotage

I am the muteness behind naivete
Born as the duplication of despair, flunked
A demented soul
An impaired self of bureaucracy

Jaded at the tip of shadow
Above it stood the gray
Quietly stabbed the main arterial venous of the real life chemistry
Sneaking low to a shallow sac of each personal sense

Like a deadly poison, odorless nor tasteless
The fall gradually buried in faint

Dejected
Lonesome
Lost images, abstained lite
Living as the reality of achromatic which yet spurred

Speaking of the colorless

Speak to the life with no magic

The life which got sucked by the spell of affliction
Beneath the autism of a blur
Life decayed when the magic got sealed
Illumination shriek within the cavity of its dull voice

Speaking of the somber

Speak to the life with no magic

Self-Sabotage

Self-sabotage

Self-sabotage; it’s all I know.
There is no way I am letting anybody get close.
Self-sabotage; it’s all I have got.
If you want my love then I will be sure to be gone.

Why try to love me? I can’t be loved.
Why try to like me? I have given up.
Why try to talk to me when I am mute?
Self-sabotage because I could love you.

I am a broken record who totally ignores,
Any possibility of ever being loved.
Say I am bored, when inside it burns to the core.
There is nothing in this world that is purely good.

Holding on to losing hope.
Sun still shines even when it snows.
In love with misery; happy with apathy.
So full of nothing; love being empty.

Sabotage

I sabotage my happiness,
When things are going good.
I blow small things out of proportion
More often, then I should.
I let you in, until it scares me,
Then, slam the door in your face.
Telling you, I'm just frustrated,
Asking, that you give me space.
I feel the rift between us growing,
As you no longer try.
You used to at least attempt to understand,
You used to hold me when I cried.
I often ponder where it all went wrong,
As I move my heart, a level higher on the shelf.
Maybe I didn't trust your love for me,
Because I had never loved myself.

Self-Sabotage

Inside the ice cave
Drops of fear and regret form
Looming icicles,
Enslaved by apprehension
Let your fiery heart break free

Sabotage

Comrade
Tie rollerskates to pólice
Horses hoofs
Piss on the grim parade
From the roof
Of the dept store
Slip a fortune cookie note
That reads
´give me liberty or death
Or chicken chow mein ´
In the pocket of a
Passing pope
Arm the homeless
With pitchforks
& direct them to the
Castle on the hill
Bite the earlobes
Of the palace guards
But not too hard
Just enough to let
Them know
We means bizness
Free the geese & turkeys
From their Christmas cages
Bring back the cat
& the white rhino too
Buddy Bolden´s trumpet
Audible from a mile
& a century away
Will be our huntsman´s cry
Tally Ho!
Tough time to be a
Fox in ermine
That day
Chase the elusive Trane
Down 52nd street
Bring down a plane
With the third eye
Laser
Crash landing with
Ray gun sparks
Beneath
Balls to convention
Let´s nudge
Michelangelo’s
Elbow
Shout theatre in a
Crowded fire
Squirt soda water
In destiny´s face
I´m mad as hell but
Then hell is mad
Let´s push Larkin´s
Work toad under
The 39 bus
& give all
The blessed angels
Something to sing
About
Let them fear
King Ludd
& kabouters
Slack men in
Boiler rooms
Reading yesterday´s
Paper
Comrades
Fellow travelers
Come & let´s dance
On the green
But first take off
Your shoes
& throw them
Into the
Machine

Sabotage of Eternal Promise

strange arrangements

promising faith but

is feeling different privately

breaking that

is it natural

the right way about it to remain mono

yet so guilty for shattering such things

"what are you thinking?

is that my business?

would you if you weren't with me?"

is overcoming the urge enough

to overcome the shame

Love Inside a Car

Let it be just a kiss:
Long or short that you miss,
Your car's door firmly shut
I don't want to hear "But-"

Yes, all glasses rolled up;
You shut your questions up!

Love inside a stopped car
Is taking things too far,
Even for a filled bar,
It could one's image mar,
One's career further mar,
On one's nerves it might jar...

"You just stopped on a tar
And said "sex in a car!"

No, in your own garage
That wont things sabotage:
Your hopes of long massage;
Captured scenes a mirage...

Like you're still in your house
Your wife without her blouse...

Sabotage At the Workplace

the worker bees buzz &
the management, the authority figures,
crunch down the boots
on the backs of us all
tossing crumbs & wanting
better production, faster pace,
silence (no talking, only work) &
for us all to be company whores
dedicated to the cause of
profit for the few who sit atop the pyramid of
this specific little corporate tyranny---
such is the nature of the beast
such is the reality of the empire
such is the “successful wonder” of capitalism &
those that want it to be this way
see nothing changing, for like so many
disgusting traditions which people cling onto for dear life,
they’d be so sad to see it go &
even more so,
ever so sad to share anything with the rest of us or
get down in the grit & dirt themselves
to actually work for a living---
and as the machine churns,
most workers think that there is nothing that can be done,
many have families & do not want to rock the boat,
while many have plans that extend for years
roaming round their heads like marbles rolling on a slick
hardwood floor &
they’ve all drank the kool-aid,
they’ve all signed off before the actual body does
so that the mind will not stir
(bearing any thoughts that what is being done here might not be
just, that what is being done here just might need to be dismantled)---
a worker who knows that
to interrupt the flow
a worker who knows that
to get in the way of production, is to put a halt on profit & to
put a halt on profit means that every cog in the chain of command will get
spoken to & eventually chaos will arise,
is an anarchist who understands the beauty of
sabotage.

simply deciding to leave out steps in a process needed
simply deciding to ignore quality overlooking &
simply deciding to destroy whole bits of product when the
heads are turned for a brief moment,
will begin to bring the place down---
for the saboteurs in this game are only true agents of change &
when those who have been oppressed in the company have had enough,
starting to wreck it from within,
like a fresh new cancer,
watch all the company’s horses &
all the company’s men,
try to put their little company
back together again.

Windows Dead

Hid all the menus
Windows did
Then shared the links
throughout it's grid

And spread the way
for what is thread
To mock the balkers
for their tread

And make their lives
a living led
For all the time
that's lost till dead

Headshaker

No way to explain it
No need to analyze
No rationale, so incredible
And no meaningful prize
No possible motive
Except maximum self
The conscious world ceases
Brains put on the shelf
Bad habits are just that
Unhealthy routines
Crossing borders, explosive
 Loaded, meaningless fiends
And, yes, if G-d let's you
You'll endure this storm too
And the loathing, disgust
Will fade into view
Until the next time
When the devil drops by
Maybe wish him well
As you bid him goodbye.

Birthday Sabotage

It's the 3rd of the month
An excellently important day
5 decades or so ago,
My parents made a little 'roll in the hay'

Tonight, I'm spoiling myself
Going out for dinner el solo
Down to my favourite local Bistro
For Salmon Wellington, Cab Sav and Gateau

Made sure I phoned ahead,
with 3 weeks to go
Booked a delicious pescatarian meal
And a table outside, on the patio

I arrived with a grin
And was shown to a shabby table inside
Served Beef Wellington, Sav Blanc,
And for dessert, a Mince Pie!

Why? What? How could this be?
I immediately called for the Chef
Oh Lanser, how could you get this so wrong
Have you recently gone stone deaf?

No! He said, in his monotone
And pulled from his pocket an email
You sent us this note just yesterday
Updating your culinary detail

But it wasn't... I didn't.... Who could it have been?
To know that I'd definitely be here
Someone who would sabotage my effulgent glory
And rob me of my cheer?

Then it dawned on me
Who sabotaged my favourite night
It was my horrible ex-wife
She's darn clever, evil and so full of spite

Faux Pas

For those who lack conviction
Aspirations stay but a mirage
And for those crafting mountains from mole hills
Detriment a deadly barrage
Believers of strange eyes upon them
Flaunt shame as a wristed corsage
And without the courage to soften their hackles
Lie confined in their mind's dank garage
Jongleurs of fabled failures
Treat their worry to massage
Subjecting the rest of their dreadful days
To vexation's entourage
Clever inventors of futuristic fear
Paste pictures to a specious collage
And blame the world around them

As fiber and vitamins rush
To aid the holiday’s overindulgence
Of snow and damp, fat and sweet
