Premium Member Before Merry Christmas Slumber

Smelling
Woody, sweet, aroma
Christmas pine tree,
Weaved with Bright blinking lights,
Topped with a starlit top.

Feeling
The Brrr ... chill of the night air
Brrr ... freezing cold of the North Pole.

Listening
To the sounds of the wind
For the Ring a ling, jingling,
Ringing of the sleigh bells.

Watching
Moonlight shadows dancing
On the walls as they take
Different fantasy shapes

Waiting
Jolly, rolly, “Ho, Ho, Ho”
White beard Santa
In a white fur trim, red velvet suit.

Seeing
Santa’s sleigh just went zooming by
Fading off to nighttime dreams
Making every minute count.

Archana

Though "Self praise is no recommendation"
Still I know I'm His best creation.
Now I would like to tell
So let me come out of the shell.

I'm nobody but an eight
Before zero in weight.
Just a little heavy and rolly-polly
Like a ball that is called volley.

Lazy, quiescent and a bit stupid
Actually I'm an innocent cupid.
People call me a fool
and that makes me feel cool.

Meaning of my name is to worship
But that's the thing we can always skip.
"A rose by any other name would smell as sweet"
I'm Archana and my friendship would be a treat.

Fe Fi Fo Fum

Fe, Fi, Fo, Fum
I smell the
fried sausages
bacon and eggs
fried bread, toast,
mushrooms and
tomatoes.

Fe, Fi, Fo, Fum

Ismell the
Steak and kidney
pie, loads of potatoes
veggies galore and
buckets full of gravy

Fe, Fi, Fo, Fum
I smell the
Aftermath of beans
on toast, covered in
melted cheese, where
do I start the more I
eat the more I fart

Fe, Fi, Fo, Fum
I smell the
Dessert, jelly and
custard, spotted
dick to, jam rolly
polly and a chunk
of plum pie, all on
one plate piled up
high.

Now pass me a human
I need a tooth pick

Bunny Rabbit

My bunny rabbit is so bold,
always wanting out.
From the hutch I keep it in,
since it got so stout.

Sits there wriggling it's fluffy ears,
and the tip of its pinky nose.
He's such a rolly polly guy,
and knows it I suppose.

Just like me he can't resist
temptation in his way.
Munches through four carrots,
then lays down in the hay.

I'm tempted now to let him out,
just to watch him play.
Brush his long shaggy hair.
But then I know he'll stay.

Because I can't resist him,
and the joy he brings to me.
All evening now we'll cuddle up,
on the sofa and watch T.V.

Premium Member A Cheesy-Breezy Holiday

The best things that Christmas guarantees
Are the festive, digestive joys of cheese

No holiday platter is nearly complete
Without the familiar fumes ... of feet

Softening chunks of wafting wonder
Offered up aged for you to plunder

Those holey and rolly blocks to devour
So properly plump, and soddenly sour

There's no better bits for a yuletide slacker
Than great gobs of funk on a crispy cracker

And stuffing a sock or a Christmas Buddha
Is perfect diversion for a gram of Gouda

Or perhaps just a nip of Neufchâtel bliss
Bouncing its stink for a mistletoe kiss

What better addition to the bells of a sleigh
Than vino with bread, and a cheese in decay?

Or, the ideal pal for a proud poinsettia?
Why, a warmingly wonderful wee wedge of feta!

No matter what floats on the holiday breeze
          It's ALWAYS out-funked by a good ... Christmas cheese!

Premium Member Ho Ho Ho

Ring a ling, jingling
On a magical fairy tale
Sleigh bells are ringing
Brrr... freezing cold North Pole

“Ho Ho Ho”

Joyous, rolly polly, white beard Santa,
is already singing and swaying
in his white fur trim red velvet suit
ready to put smiles on all his children
big and small out in the world

“Ho Ho Ho”

On Christmas Day
elf’s he’s employed
enjoying their busy work
singing, swinging, and tinkering
to tunes of Christmas music
making lots of noise on a
nimbly, assembly line
creating, never frustrating
new toys to stuff in Santa’s bag
for the joy in delivering
to all the girls and boys

“Ho Ho Ho” Merry Christmas!

Santa’s sleigh just went zooming by.

Premium Member The Summer Garden Party

The rooster led his harem forth
into the garden for a party
There they would dine from mother earth
Aphids on roses, worms they ate harty

Queen Ann's lace was laced with caterpillars
And rolly pollies ate Day Lilies' leaves
Biddies fed 'pon tiny grasshoppers
for summer was there to please

The Bee Balm and Fever Few had not been
touched by summer's butterfles; Rebecca
had yet to open her blooms; Daisies soon to begin.
Spring blossoms now nearly gone, summer the garden wrecker

The rooster, his hens and biddies loved the party
As among the flowers they pranced and ate smartly

Sneaky Pug

I brought you home
for I could not resist
that pushed in face
and rolly girth

From the first time I saw you
it was just ment to be
tho the dollar signs
are still something I see

your short and stout
and you wear a mask
and you've learned quite well
just how to ask

to eat or drink
to sleep or play
and your learning more
with each passing day

The love that you give
has filled me inside
with more love to give
for the rest of your life

So, hats off to
the black masked mug
with that soft wrinkled face
on a fawn colored pug!

Elephant Banquets

A large pile of elephant excrement is neither resembling a tortoiseshell coat or a brown handbag but playing dodge ball on a busy motorway could be considered to be akin to a wonky attic vibrating at over 10000 kilowatts a second. Dare to cross a spade with a diamond. And hearts often laugh in a club house city. Ooh wow a calamity clam jumping around. Greatly releasing a board game over an icy rink. Terminate then germinate. Pointless picking puck ups playing poker. How remarkable the dark maroon moving grinning bush. With shades. Trying a terrapin waltz should not ever be attempted in a casserole dish. For beans have eyes and hair and roll roll rolly round and round. Particularly on angled blades of grass. Next in the line is a warbling wheel. Placket of a packet packeted and peckpockpick. Dancing with a mane. Whooshing through atmospheric conditions and pressurized promenades. Always the lark of look. Always the dim of dinner. And now go eat a dim sum bracket wearing a long sleeved pullover whilst chatting to a very pleasant and personable flower. *** floristic fauna frantically feeling fakes *** gun grab geraniums ghostly got grabbed *** underground undergrowth uniquely underwent underwater. *** unification *** ha ha ha centrepiece of soul. ***

Premium Member I Wear Elie Saab

Elie Saab creates haute couture
For women who are silm, demure

It’s not for rolly polly me
With little bulges you can see

Elie Saab is my hero bright
He lights up the red carpet night

He dresses are simply divine
But oh…not a one can be mine

I’ve got no cash for such finesse
Plus..I won’t fit the lovely dress

So here is how I live the dream
I spray his perfume in a stream

Once I tried his amazing scent
It clung to me where’re I went

Oh, but it carried a high price
To have it would be more than nice

Valentine’s Day… what did I see?
A present waiting there for me

Hubby and daughter shared a look
As I unwrapped, my fingers shook

“Oh, God please, help me not cry
If Elie Saab won’t meet my eye”

There it was in its glory fine
Elie Saab perfume, it was mine!

Now Elie Saab is what I wear
The scent makes me able to dare

For it makes me feel quiet sublime
So sexy in “couture” so fine!

Premium Member My Jiggly Bits

He teases me 'bout my “rolls”
‘Bout the bits that jiggle
But then he’ll squeeze every bit
And bring about a giggle

And when he’s there in my bed
And I’m just typing away
He'll reach for a roll or two
A sweet pastime of his day

I wish I knew what he wants
Must I lose weight from my arms?
But then what’s left to play with?
I’ll lose my big woman charms….

So I just turn a deaf ear
When he jokes about my weight
Cause when the boy wants to play
“Rolly Polly” satiates!

Willy Milly Dilly

I know a boy named Willy Wolly Way
Parties all night and sleeps all day.
He is a boozer. He is a shmoozer.
Like a tomcat,he must stray.
He is a layer.He is a player.
I know a boy named Willy Wolly Way.

I know a girl named Milly Molly May.
She wants a baby in the worst way.
She is a cutie.She is a beauty.
Has her sights set upon her prey.
She is insistent.She is persistent.
I know a girl named Milly Molly May.

Willy Wolly Way and Milly Molly May
Went up a hill, but not for water.
Milly Molly May forgot her pill.
Nine months later, she had a daughter.
Oh,so glad was Milly Molly May.
Named the infant Dilly Dolly Day.
Oh,so mad was Willy Wolly Way.
So indifferent to Dilly Dolly Day.
Milly Molly May took him to court.
Tried to get some Child support
"I'm not the father",said Willy Wolly Way.
The judge said,"Give me your DNA".
The test confirmed Willy's worst fear.
The judge said "ten thousand bucks a year".
Willy Wolly Way,didn't want to pay.
He left the city the very next day.
Milly Molly May,moved to L.A.
Became a stripper to support Dolly Day.

God knows where he is today.
He couldn't bother being a father.
I know a boy named Willy Wolly Way.

I know a girl named Milly Molly May
She got married in Californiay
She is a dreamer.She is a schemer.
Has a kid with another on the way.
She is so happy. They have a pappy.

Premium Member Alias Santa Claus

Been mistaken for Santa Claus
More than one time over the years
Could be my big fat rolly belly
Or my beard from ear to ear

It's kind of cool when a little kiddie
Comes up to me and tells me this
"Once I saw you last Christmas Day
And you gave my mommie a kiss!"

Kids always say such funny things
Some of them can make you blush
A little guy told me I was really fat
Must eat a big bunch of mush

Wouldn't think of shaving my beard
Or losing a big bunch of pounds
Cause then I'd miss these little kiddies
And their amazing ability to astound

Before I end this long dissertation
There's one thing I really must extol
Don't ever lose the tiny person
That's living within your soul
