My Jiggly Bits

He teases me 'bout my “rolls”
‘Bout the bits that jiggle
But then he’ll squeeze every bit
And bring about a giggle

And when he’s there in my bed
And I’m just typing away
He'll reach for a roll or two
A sweet pastime of his day

I wish I knew what he wants
Must I lose weight from my arms?
But then what’s left to play with?
I’ll lose my big woman charms….

So I just turn a deaf ear
When he jokes about my weight
Cause when the boy wants to play
“Rolly Polly” satiates!

Very good write Eileen. I wish I could get my wife to understand that when I look at her, I see the same woman I saw on our first date. Weight can fluctuate. Age is inevitable. But love is forever if it is true. Thanks for making me think. Rockman :-)

Thanks ever so much for your lovely post, Rockman! Yes, I wish that every man who think a you do...That was sort of the essence of this poem. Why tease, if you like to play, eh? ;) Anyway, thanks for stopping by. I appreciated hearing from you!

Sue Ellen....thanks for stopping by and sharing a little glimpse into your life! :) Dear...I'm sure you are beautiful just like your pic! My daughter is 18 and she worries about her weight. SHE HAS A TO DIE FOR BODY. Everyone tells her that! Curvaceous and sexy, but...it is only recently that she has started to believe in herself. I'm SO relieved. I don't want her to live with insecurities like I have...Thanks for the post!

When I met my wife I was 148 lbs now 20 years later I am 178 lbs. Thankfully she never complains about my weight. This was a delightful piece and I enjoyed it very much. Well done Eileen, celebrate every delicious curve.

HA HA HA HA! I don't mind giggling myself...I just don't want others to giggle! My daughter grabbed my arm today and gave me such a squeeze. I guess the pillowy effect has its own charm....

I know, right????? ;) I don't get it...people like jello, right? People like nice soft fluffly pillows, right? People like wispy cotton candy, right? Chunk marshmallows, right? SO....what's the problem if a person wiggles??? ;) Oh MD, trying to make myself feel good. When my brother-in-law goes back to Canada, and after tomorrow...I'm started to LOSE WEIGHT! I'll leave enough to still jiggle...don't worry! ;) HUGS!
