Industrial Relations In the 1960s

The shop floor view of the newly promoted

Oh to be the factory foreman and to wear a posh white coat
Just the thought of all that power brings a lump right to your throat
No more dirty hands or hob nail boots or boiler suits for you
No more rushing through your break time just relax and drink your brew

Carrying your briefcase, there’s no need for you to hide it
We all know that like your head there’s not a lot inside it
With your clipboard and your pencil you can wander round the site
Whilst assuming great authority you put us workers right

You believe we are in awe of you and hold you in esteem
If that is what you really think your living in a dream
We have seen all your back stabbing and we don’t know how you sleep
Everybody knows you as a sycophantic creep

We heard you telling everyone in the works canteen
That you now had access to the managers latrine
It’s true that for promotion you were first past the post
Yet the workers here all see you as a bigger pratt than most

We have read all your new rules and how we face the sack
We are all in the union and we’ll be fighting back
Don’t go thinking as a foreman that your future is secured
Your about to be upended by a young smart-arsed shop steward

Premium Member Christmas With the Relations - Fictional Write

Christmas Day has arrived; the thought fills me with such dread
For over twenty years they’ve come to me; it's doing in my head!

I get up at the crack of dawn to get the turkey in the oven
Gran moans about my cooking – she belongs in a witches’ coven

I always arrange the festive table last thing on Christmas Eve
I don’t sit next to granny; her table manners make me heave!

My sister is so overweight; you should see the size of her fanny
She belches loudly when she eats, so I’ll sit her next to granny

The taxi arrives at twelve o’clock and I crack open the sherry
When they sit down at the table they are starting to get merry

I slave over a hot stove; no one moves they act too grand
I’ve given up asking for help, they treat me so off-hand

Well this year I’ve rebelled and put laxatives in their soup
I’ll smile secretly when off to the toilet they will all troop

The soup has been devoured and I clear away the plates
When the laxatives take effect they’ll be in dire straits!

The turkey has been carved; all the vegetables are piled high
Uncle Albert grosses out; he needs a trough in a pigsty!

Turkey, and all the trimmings they will quickly devour
Granny moans about the sprouts she said that one was sour

I quietly sit seething whilst they get all get steaming drunk
Uncle Albert farts loudly – he’s worse than a blinking skunk!

Christmas pudding is eaten, followed by juicy mince pies
Sister Annie stuffs her face, as more fat piles on her thighs

Single handily I clear the table, and then we open up the gifts
It costs me an utter fortune; you should have seen their lists

Annie has knitted me the most disgusting baggy jumper
I smile sweetly and thank her, but I really want to thump her!

At four o’clock the taxi comes and they all go off home
I sit by the fire with a cup of tea, I’m so glad to be alone

Next year it’s going to be different; I’m going to go away
Booked a luxury cruise – I’ll be abroad on Christmas Day!

Hot Steamy Relations

My patience is tried.

My love life has died.

I'm full of pride.

I need you on the inside.

I want hot steamy relations.

It is very hot in here.

I had fear of what will happen,

If I ever see you again.

I know how I will begin

I know that I never want

It end. I don't care at this

Point who sees or hears

I know that I will shed tears

Of joy because I've waited

Too long boy. I can't take this

Anymore. I want you to be

At my door right now. I will

Bow and show you how much

I missed you and begin to do

What I love to do with you

And only you. I can go for

Hours, for days, for months,

And years. I just want your

Butt over here, my guy,

For hot steamy relations,

Time and time again, just

Get here and take away

All of this drear. Hot steamy

Relations I no longer have

Patience. I want to give in

To you. I want you dude

Come over hot steamy relations

And adjust my attitude.

Premium Member Harmonious Relations

Take notice of your hand.
Each finger moves separately.
Each finger is a different size,
Yet all belong to the same hand.
All nationalities may be seen as
Different fingers on the same hand.
Would you cut off a finger if
It looked different, felt different,
Or if it were scarred or ugly, or
Couldn't move as well as the others?
If one finger is broken, the other
Fingers are gathered and may be
Joined together to support the
Broken finger so that it may heal.
I pray that one day I may see all our
Fingers well, working together and able
To move with each other in harmony.

Tucked my poem inside a few hymnals in a hospital chapel.

Relations

Lives entangled
When thoughts mingled
As time proceeds
Left, no more obstacles.

Ugliness, we all hide
Insincerity, we abide
Under shells of cruelty
Reality is concise.

Relations Based On Money

There used to be time where relations had the at most value.
There used to be times when people valued people!
There used to be times where people fought for each other!
These days we have times when people fight with each other for a penny called Money!
Values have been drained, Relations have been strained and
Love and Affection in Pain!

Premium Member Confronting Systemic Racism

Comes a time when I must face life's larger picture
On canvas of my mind, earth is kept garden
No one promotes killer weeds, God forbid!
Facing my Goliath; those stones were formed by One
Reverence for mother earth is linked to the Almighty
Only eyes seeing from a contrite heart, heal nations
No one should die of hunger or thirst of spirit
Today chimes a bell of new beginning, won't you join in?
In the deepest recesses of my mind, I see flames of love
Night became electric with clarity and transparency
God's flashlight reaches beyond time and space.

Seasons in all their glorious colors, captures the world
Yes, Captains will meet to delete drab colors of
Soldiers, of Systemic racism, praying to lesser gods
The rainbow goddess arched the heavens for all to see
Earth's unstoppable bloom of flowers favored the rainbow
Morning draped in silk, frozen hearts of hatred will melt
I'll stand with you on shores, where blessings flow
Can I get an Amen?

Right from the start, we were one, bred by the Almighty
Adam and Eve would traverse the land
Change remains the only thing that never changes
Islands washes away, but not The Word, life-sustaining
Some folks stray from glory. Humility is pathway home
My people, my people, vast as salts and sea, look up!

Vengeful Relations

My best friend once
Told me that she
Had my back,
But then, I found out
What the problem was
It was that she really
Had my back
         -And-
Yes, my best friend
Did have my back
And it sticks', pricks'
And it hurt's
All over, and over
And over again!

Bad Relations

When you get to, to the place that
I must leave you, when you get to th' station
When you look back, will it matter?
If I treated you badly would you forgive me?
Broken down, I'll be sorry at the station
Sister's relief, a brother's regret, at the station

There were details, misunderstandings
Hammers and nails, and bad relations
You remember, like the ocean don’t
As true love forgets, like I don’t remember
Give as good as you get at the station
   Sister's relief, a brother's regret, bad relations

I‘m sliding now, into tomorrow
Wi' nothing left t‘ steal or t' borrow
You just went on, hassled n' hustled
Th' devil took you home, now not so troubled
Broken down I am sorry, at the station
Sister's relief, a brothers regret, bad relations

Christmas Relations

Every year it's the same troop
Who seem to show up in a group
Relations that you never see
But, still they are your family

Gifts are opened, clear the floor
Then you hear them at the door
Relations that you never see
Except to eat your food for free

They never write, they never phone
All they do is sit and moan
Relations that you never see
They don't look like either you or me

Every year it is the same
They burst on in, don't know your name
Relations that you never see
Thieving hospitality

We don't know where these people live
They always take, they never give
Relations that you never see
That's how it will always be

Merry Christmas, how's the folks
Drink your drink, and smoke your smokes
Relations that you never see
Fulfill their Christmas dream for free.

The Experiments of Relations

Anything or any being is not for nothing
Everything or every being bears self significance
What does a mountain or a river do?
What does an ant or a tree do?
What does a man or an angel do?
What does a star or a stone do?
The seen and thought of everything and every being
At own duty are related at a point,

From the experiments of water or human circle
From the experiments of things’ joint and separation
Atom and molecule are found
The separation of a bone from a being
The separation of every atom from the bone
There the point of relation is experimented,

Atom and molecule are on motion and relation
Even at a particle’s joint and separation.

Premium Member Pleasures She Wore

Your skin glows like a peach blossom,
Delicious is the smell of the Black Lotus Flower,
In the purest hope of spring's essences.

My yearning rises to her frequency,
Her feminine voice soothes the core of my spirit.
She leaps at me like a panther after her prey!
By the whisper of your name, I crave.
Evening ascends in on the essence of the wind.

The vision of your silhouette calms me.
Your delicate lacy teddy, she wears dreamishly.
I carry your beauty into the twilight of stars' dreams,
Embracing her as she lies next to my heart.

Filled with all her beauty's pleasures,
Let me dry your tears of honey with my heart.
My mouth waters after her lustful temptations,
Reminding me of her kissing lips.

In the hush moments of play,
I listen in this silence for her whimpers
Small moans of our delighting foreplay
Her female's heat burns with desire's flame
Inside her passions, deep warmth
Explosive with her quivering contentment.

She breathes inside my soul!
She's flushed to her cheeks with fulfillment
She begins to rise to her cusp of enjoyment,
Our soul's seeping, melding, and weaving together.

I await in the crystallized moonlight for her,
Her seductive body's scent,
Intoxicating intrigue that we taste us as one.

Inside her fervency are glories deep,
I seek out her female aroma to keep.
I pursued her naturalism in gentleness,
The sensual side of her nectar harnesses!
