Ranting From a Chair

I am but a slave among lives hidden features
Who cares what I crave midst these two-legged creatures
I crave superb polish and fine furniture wax
Extremely strong wood glue and upholstery tacks
To be moved more toward the shade and less in the sun
To have a tung oil bath, ah, now that would be fun
I crave to be gently rocked and read to again
Like when grandpa was alive and Jimmy was ten
But most of all to stay in my room at the keep
And be warmed by the fire until I fall asleep

I’ve seen a world where twilight dies,
murdered off by the rising Sun.

But beholden they were so dark at times,
before that day had come.

I’ve seen the wretch with my own eyes,
and even kept at some.

Eventually I realized,
now no wrong is left unwrung.

Still the evil plays at times,
as the songs are always sung.

Last you see deceit and lies,
now know where it comes from.

So here thy words, and heed them well,
to break the spider’s spell.

Or risk to wander a land still lost,
and hope you won’t find Hell.

Ranting From My Midnight Ghost

Yeah thats right at
night your not hearing things
and its not your imagination
And of course the landlord exterminated
so it couldn't be mickey mouse.
Long before you moved in this was
my house! chump!
Yeah I moved things around when
your sleep, I even make designs on the sheets
you know off the light of the moon
Because I'm an artist.
Your lucky I'm around here these days
you should give me praise instead of curse
your days.
I keep all the bad ones away
And oh yeah with your selfish self
We know about the sour cream chips
with dip you got hidden in the case
under your bed too
And I want some, yeah homie I'm
talking to you!!
By the way who buys sour cream dip
with sour cream chips? what are you
trying to get a more sour creamier experience?

Ranting Thoughts Come From Sleep 06-2014

I am not here
I do not exist
My screams are silent and go unheard
everything is pointless
in sleep comes dreams
that radiate peace
they tell me everything will be okay
though beautiful
the creatures be
though beautiful the galaxies
though enormous the feeling
of connection with
everything and nothing
when I awake they're gone
they were not real
they were just dreams
like myself
the imaginings of other beings
people see what they want to see
people perceive what they are given
in dreams
it encompasses everything and nothing
it all exists as one
and upon waking
it all becomes divided
and even "nothing"
no longer exists
except in the minds of those
whom try to transcend
their bodies, minds and souls
thinking they understand enough
to accept that knowledge
and that nothing is something to be achieved
without understanding
that nothing is everything
and everything is nothing
it is simply a state of being
and this place
it's not a state of being
it is a state of experience
a state of existing as a piece of an unknown whole
separated from that which would give
     the ultimate content
a being of nothing and everything at once
but here, while in this plane
I experience and exist
in the minds of others
sent to perceive
to give the whole
the rest
an understanding of existence
while I long for completion
and link back to nothing
I exist, but I don't
and the screams of my experience
go unheard
because they are a piece
only part
and the whole
of everything and nothing
is greater than just that piece
one cannot transcend
that which they have been given
until it is given and taken back
into the whole
no longer a separate piece
the experience absorbed
and become a part again
of nothing and everything
then it will be heard

to exist it to experience
one cannot escape their existence
by death
they have to accept and will be accepted by the whole

so they are putting
some reigns on the credit card
companies again.......

what about those of
that paid on time the last time
and every other

time? rates did rise with
tempers and temperatures
no relief in sight

even uncle sam
doesn't get away with all
of that freaking crap

knock 'em down and keep
'em down like at the un-
convenient store down

on your corner and
mine- lotto, cigarettes, sex
in all parts of town

Ranting and Writing

Anger spills out
with a great shout

from this pen at times
as it looks for rhymes

that make some sense
without pretense,

but its only anger that spills
and my heart it fills

for the madness in a life
full of war, ever in strife.

While loving words may be said,
deeds leave only more dead

either in a war a world away
or drunks out on the highway

its ever decay and death
leaving anger on my breath.

Its a new year and a new day,
wish it truly felt that way

but for some UnGodly reason
only a rage pen writes the season.

Philosophical Ranting With Red Wine

Aimless wandering beings
Arms flailing reaching out to touch
feeling no one in reach
isolated pedestrians seeking affection
 disconnected lack of eye contact
Seeing no one peripherally...

A sea of souls knowing more each day
 forgetting everything else
information trumping wisdom
 Compassion overshadowed by Computation
Each byte bites into the fabric
A tattered tapestry left hanging
  Rare human-like beings peek through
Wanting tangible exchanges of communication

Exhaling shallow, careful for smog intake
  We've made everyday Halloween
Highlighting and Sensationalized...
Terrified of those we don't know
Expanding the gap, alienating...alone
Community was our protection...now stolen
In locked homes peering out, guarded
Neighbors-strangers...shaking with guns
No one safe from the dangers at home!

Intelligence rises...yet we refuse to evolve
Using our fears, insecurities, and prejudice
to hamper the progress of our young
Technology is no surrogate Parent
Using repressive dishonest methods of yesterday
only degenerates the trust of highly informed children

Our hope is in teaching them
  where we failed
When we missed
 what we forgot
   ....Transcending the hatreds, and biases
          applying the accrued knowledge
                  to one day
             mentally and spiritually
                     EVOLVE!!

Simultaneously progressing/digressing
Gaining in Ability, losing in Humanity
Our Children will succeed where we could not...

Ranting Rhyme

What comes after
Nonstop tales
Ugly truth for that matter
Neverending stories that never get stale

It sucks
Unbearable to my ears
Perhaps it is luck
That I am not, to you anymore dear

Here comes regret
Being played in your game
Not knowing your shocking traits
Long before I let my heart beat your name

I have but just one wish
You were that wonderful person I thought I knew
Not the one they said rubbish
Like the sand it strews

Madman Ranting In the Train

You madman ranting in the train
Time sold in that bottle should delay your pain
But what has poisoned you to disordain
Professing the impossible over and over again
"My manhood into" Britain! you claim
The universe is all to blame
Your wishful dreams are driving you insane
To hell with all but what remains
Is just a madman ranting in the train

Premium Member Fear Mongers

“Fear Mongers”

Newspapers yelling,
TVs screaming,
Radios blaring.
Is this what we want?
Is this what we need?

Politicians lying,
Preachers ranting,
Black men dying,
Mothers crying.
Is this what we want?
Is this what we need?

Breaking news,
More breaking news.
Shootings here,
Robberies there,
More mothers crying.
Is this what we want?
Is this what we need?

Fear mongers
Marching, Marching, Marching
They’re coming to take you away
Hey! Hey!
They’re coming to take you away.
Battalions of mongers
Armies of mongers
All painted red,
Coming to take you away.

Cool it down,
Take it down,
It’s getting hot down here.
It’s not all that bad

It’s bad for your heart,
It wrongs your soul.
We aren’t like that.
It’s time to say goodbye,
To these days of spitting vile,
To these days of ugly words,
To these days of vulgar thoughts,
To shooting arrows without aim.
We’re not like that.
Too many mothers crying.

Cool it down,
Take it down,
It’s getting hot down here.
It’s not all that bad.
It would do my heart good,
For you to find some good
In this disease infected world.

Take a trip I say,
Take a trip.
Spin your wheels to
Mount Rushmore
Listen to what those
Four have to say.
This is what we want.
This is what we need.

Ranting Fish

I can hear
the ranting fish
talking
far below

Feelings are
just feelings
says the fish

And nothing
Is more
accommodating
than water

Midnight Ranting

Help, who can come to me?
I only think to hate.
Myself included is what I have currently.
I don't know what to think.
I know what they think I am.
Really they say everyone is depressed.
Even though they prove themselves normal.
People don't understand how I think.
Sometimes God is all we need, right?
I have some paper to cut.
My tears fall to my legs.
Every time it falls to the night.
But that's just plainly me.
I'm a girl that can't love and that is just.
A time is coming when my fears will be gone.
How in the ground, apparently.

Premium Member Too Busy Ranting

How do I drown out
The dimwitted stupidity
Of your foolhardy rants

The halfwitted folly of your absurdity
The madness of your lunacy
Who in heaven’s name
Do you think you’re fooling

You’re so generous with disparaging remarks
What have you ever accomplished
How dare you pretend to sit up on a throne
While having the audacity to dismantle
To nitpick what others have achieved

Only losers don’t accomplish a thing
because they’re too busy ranting

Don’t you know
Grownups
Don’t do that
Please
It’s not too late
Grow up, kiddo

Ranting

If this present development dosen't partake of the wanted anticipation of the wilfully needy
There maybe and expression of discontent for what they've been told what to anticipate.
I hunger not what I'm thirsty for and wish not for what i want
I deny not what I withhold and willingly curse what I claim
I picture that I selfie myself alone in a crowd
And I fill my cup till it is half empty
My expectations are my own as others are determined by their overseers
No truth shall ever come to those who allow themselves to be told when they're free.
