To love you in every fairest moment
And kiss your tender lips in pure delight
To yearn for you when time is absent
And hold you closer in warm shadowed light
How warm our palms, held in soft embrace
Beneath the sun's flowered fragrant field
As lover's we'll seek a passionate grace
When dreams we find ask our hearts to yield
To dance with you through a life of nights
And cross the floor of days in love with you
Touch eternity when lover's hands take flight
I'll look deep in your eyes so they're not blue

Find beauty in your smiling face my dear
I'll dance with you until we disappear

WHEN MOTHER PULLS THE CART

Way back my classmate of middle school
Lost early on his father in the clutch of cancer
Destitute family cart mother was forced to pull
Clouds of trying times in the void sky he saw gather.

The study expenses weren’t easy to meet
He thought from the school he would drop out
But his mother said he needn’t, should never do it
She would soon find the way out, without any doubt.

He had no idea what that way could be
He was so assured, didn’t lose sleep over it
For he knew mother would do her best to see
Her bright son finished the school study with credit.

He woke up in the middle of a winter night
Found his mother’s bed empty, not slept on
When this happened routinely night after night
He decided to find out where she could’ve gone.

In the dead of cold night he went out to explore
Saw from the antique room a streak of light seep
He peeked through the keyhole of the closed door
She was stitching cloth bags, eyes half-closed in sleep.

Cupid Pulls Back the Bow

Cupid Pulls Back The Bow

This café I have stopped to dine,
with hopes I’ll meet my Valentine
I’ve seen her here most every day,
just never had the nerve to say
I took my seat at table two
and ordered what I usually do
Then noticed something just not right
my eyes they caught the strangest sight

It sat up there upon a shelf
with wings it looked as if an elf
An arrow held within its hand,
as if it had some evil plan
When then as I sipped on my tea,
I saw his arrow point at me
His one eye closed, the other stared,
by now I’m feeling really scared

Just then she walked into the place,
a perfect smile upon her face
I watched her as she took her seat
to order something good to eat
She motioned me to join her there,
come take a seat, this empty chair
When suddenly from in my eye
I saw his arrow start to fly

I thought real quick, I had to duck,
it missed me, that was my good luck
Then hit the guy at table three
who quickly dropped his cup of tea
Oh boy, the look upon his face
is one my mind can not erase
I made my way to sit with her,
She said, “I am so sorry sir”

“I motioned not for you, you see
but to the man at table three”
He sat right down where she did dine
and said, "Please be my Valentine"
Something had come over him,
his heart was feeling young again
She told him that she felt the same
and was so happy that he came

They kissed as I just walked away,
I felt so stupid on this day
About the place my eyes did look
in every cranny, every nook
And there still sitting on the shelf,
he shrugged his shoulders, did the elf
And at that time I came to know,
don’t duck when cupid pulls the bow

Cupid Pulls Back the Bow

Oh, dreams that meet on magic summer nights,
And hide from hearts that never true love felt.
A love that without slumber sees no light,
Affection that in daylight is misdealt.

Do thoughts give flowers strength and will to bloom?
Or send sweet fragrance to a lover’s heart?
For many years thoughts dwelt in hope’s perfume.
Awake, my soul that I may feel love start.

Then, Cupid pulled his bow and struck my soul.
True love in all its glories came alive.
For in that instant I was fully whole.
And with you, dear, I knew that love could thrive.

Awake and happy, you, my dreams’ envoy,
For life with you has brought my greatest joy.

CUPID PULLS BACK THE BOW

Their life has been their Valentine day

Cupid's heart and bow

on Valentine's day

shooting golden arrows aglow

touching their senior hearts to ballet

Chocolates dance nicely gift wrap

red roses sing delight

with a dinner and then a nightcap

to candlelight throughout the night

For two graying doves

nestled the passage of time

so much in their love

with everyday a chime

As senior's years a golden

bright eyes still excite

their love, still beholden

two little gray doves cooing the night

She flies on his ageless wings
still, to new discoveries as he sings

When Cupid’s arrow flies through the air,
I hope that you will always be there.
As a target for his shot,
So you’ll forget me not,
And you will always know
How much I care.

Red and pink hearts, of every size
Swirl all around, some land in your eyes
The pulse starts to race, as temperatures rise
Love's in the air, and a swollen heart sighs

Flowers and chocolates, jewelry and wine
Cheek to cheek dancing, a restaurant to dine
You tell her how lucky, you were to find
Her beautiful heart, for your valentine

Cupid Pulls Back the Bow

It is time for natural blossoming
Into each other’s blood corpuscles
It is the time for the chocolate melting
Under the heat of chaotic muscles

Come and put out the light
It is the spring in your Alps
Fascinating is the dynamite
Red flowers in our pulse

What is the matter darling
Will you defy all red signals
Your hemoglobin has picked up rhythm
Crazy looks in your petals

Oh, oh, it is the eternal generator
Of fire in love and sword in passion
Those little winged cupids in every letter
Of your lyrics in impish invitation

It is the churning time of our existence
It has come in the surges of fusion
Of quivering and pulsating ascendance
Towards the patterns of swirling blue explosion

The love of mine Valentine
I know my time with its plough
Seeks to combine the rivers yours and mine
As the cupid pulls back the bow

Cupid, Pulls Back the Bow

CUPID, PULLS BACK THE BOW!

I was walking counting petals
From the daisy in my hand
Thoughts far, really distracted
Should have seen him in my path

But I simply walked past
Eyes down, mind blown
Missed my destined one
My other half, part of my soul

But Cupid was there watching
And as fast grabbed his bow
Sent an arrow through my heart
Made me turn, get back slow

Then I saw him in the path
He was looking right at me
With a shy and cute smile
He said hi, and conquered me

I realized then I had found
The other half of my soul
Thank you, cupid, you captured him
You were right, now pull back the bow!

Cupid Pulls Back the Bow

I held a dream, a dream come true,
I felt a gleam, a gleam for you.
I knew my world would twist and turn,
my heart grew and swirled as my fever burned.

I craved a snuggle, a snuggle with sprinkles,
I gave you a Puggle, a puppy with wrinkles.
I had a feeling you always wanted such love,
you named him Mugsy, a Beagle and a Pug.

I fell in love, a love forevermore,
I called cupid above, to always adore.
I sincerely admire your respect for me,
I’m clearly inspired from your piety.

I held a need, a need for you,
I knelt in creed, a creed so true.
I’ve fallen in deep rooted admiration,
I called on sweet cupid, our true salvation.

Just Close My Eyes, and Pulls On the Sin

Just close my eyes, and pulls on the sin,
In the head naked women swarm in a crowd.
And I'm feel pity for them. Poor things!
My jealous wife, like a frenzied hound,
Meets them there with a rolling pin.

I feel the everything of you,
through spring... through fall my breath would run
across the towers of sky blue
and petals bless our crowning sun,
to grasp a language still undone.

Arrows brush lips , never amiss ,
beholding sighs fragrant as dew
which glaze the rawness of a kiss;
then softens late evening, anew
till we join freely in life's bliss.

Cupid, Pulls Back the Bow

I went in search of a
Valentine, that could tell her how
I wanted her to be only mine. There
were only a few that came close to my
need, for one so perfect, for love indeed.
As moments pass and quickly goes time,
I had still not found a fitting Valentine.
Then came to me another thought,
perhaps a card was needed not.
So I sat down and jotted some
lines, that I could use for my
                                   Valentine. My words were
                                     poor and the effort tart,
                                       to tell this Beauty all
                                        in my heart. Cupid
                                          must have been
                                           near that day,
                                              his arrow
                                                hit its
                                                 mark
                                                  you
                                                  see
FOR FROM THAT DAY, SHE STAYED WITH ME.

Cupid Pulls Back the Bow

Cupid kindly help me,
   To woo my valentine.
   Release your golden arrows,
   The which, makes love divine.
   I'll shower her with kisses,
   And gifts, if given chance.
Now draw your bow and guide me,
   To start a fine romance.
Take aim, and touch her heartstrings,
Where love has lost it's fire.
And rouse her passion for me,
   With your arrows of desire.

Cupid, Pulls Back the Bow

Once again it is February,
glittering like our Anniversary.

Roses everywhere in red;
sweet fragrance has spread!

Teenagers scribble love letters;
girls well-dressed in their trend setters.

Old couples hold each other in bliss;
extra joyful days God has blessed without lease.

Chocolate shops are open until midnight;
the moonlight is romantically bright!

Sweet kisses steal the show,
even lips that don't know.

Love has finally come to bloom;
chasing away singles' gloom!
