shedders shards hover
if there is not a purpose~
life has no meaning

limb amputation
your life left in a child's hand~
a burden you are

soul shattered remains,
where did eternal love go~
death it does seek

England Won a Penalty Shootout

Many years of dreaming and searching
Will this be the year we finally stop hurting?
I can't believe these words are coming from my mouth
I can finally say England won a penalty Shootout

Three lions on our shirt and we won't be caged
This will be the year we perform on the biggest stage
In every game teamwork is vital
But here we are ready for the quarter final

We've Made it further than Argentina, Germany and Spain
Who needs a Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo when you have Harry Kane
Give the ball to Lingard, Alli or Marcus Rashford
Then they'll assist Kane to score

Football is all I've ever cared about, the world cup is the greatest show
During each game our confidence will grow
It could all go wrong with one mistake
But we know we're going to win as we have Gareth Southgate

It's no longer a secret, it's now known
That football is coming home
We're going all the way, I don't have any doubt
We're winning the world cup, because we finally won a penalty Shootout

Death Penalty

Death Penalty

Sonny Johnson’s home was on the street
Sharing space with rats who nibbled at his feet
Until he moved his blanket to the county jail
‘Cause someone said he stabbed a white female

He faced the court without a scrap of money
So no lawyer of renown defended Sonny
A jury found him guilty in two hours
And no one wondered if the fault was his or ours

No delays or stays of execution
How sweet they are, revenge and retribution
A pork chop and beans sat cooling in a bowl
While a portly priest sanctified Sonny’s soul

They strapped him to a gurney hard and fast
Two witnesses looked away, eyes downcast
Beads of sweat on Sonny’s forehead glistened
“Ain’t done the deed; how come y’all don’t listen?”

Sonny shuddered once before his heart stopped beating
Nary a soul mourned his tragic life so fleeting
With other poor men, they put him in the ground
And no stone marker graced his burial mound

Sonny’s fate isn’t hard to justify
The Holy Book supports an eye for an eye
Does anyone care how many men are taken
With the chilling chance that we may be mistaken?

The Death Penalty

I’m a little firework
Halfway towards the sky
That’s burnt out to dust
Into nothingness
And now I have to die.

I was a crow, flying through a tree
Tried to slalom through the branches.
The thorns clipped my wings
Here the handcuffs cling
Because of my murderous advances.

I’m a crooked atheist
I don’t believe in hell
Or in a Summa Bonum
Or in heaven, like some.
Once the needle goes in, I’ll tell.

“I am not afraid of death,
I’m glad you didn’t postpone a day
To cause my body to wilt
To remove me of guilt
and to let me get away.”

Death Penalty

I was good,
You turned me bad,
We hijacked her,
I was caught
I was taken and locked up,
You were still free,
I hate you for this life I live now,
In fear knowing I’ll die,
I stood by you while you killed her,
You murderer,
You monster,
I get blamed, and you go free,
I say this is not fair.

My day is today,
I chose lethal injection,
Cuz you injected me with badness,
I realize that now,
How could you go free, without any regrets?
Do you feel anything?
I won’t be able to in a few minutes.
My day and time has come,
Be aware my last words, will be where they can find you.

Penalty

It only made sense to me-

like I only wade in destiny,

like I only drink very dark tea,
on summer mornings when they are scorching...

It only made sense to me,

like it's scoring the dividers detracting O' tall and torry,
at the worried hello sojourning,

...of a next year's encouraged
deuteronomy,

and the slots spell perfectly like I am optionally twerking
tangents and the emotional torpid laughing,

hacking as I complain entrapping this dent upon the distances-

completing me in the persistence, as I know of no more to be finished
and fixed,

this is existence and the amiable confidence.

A Penalty For August

While the ancients sleep drunken dreams
in an August haze of torpor,
reheated by a relentless sun,
when the grills and water torches light up
the night with feasts of raucous laughter,
the sealed sweat from that riotous time
begins floating upward.
Fastening onto mariner's winds;
coalescing past curious birds;
savoring the sterling starlight;hardening into a glass meteor.
Indurate invader-
that is slapped down with frigid malice
by the unappeased agnostics
who reject such divinities.
Streaking through a dismal, grey cumulus
exposed in an antiseptic freezer,
it explodes.
Shattering it's liquids memories all over;
bleaching the tightened barks of trees;
stringing silver gossamer threads over tiles and pitch;
chattering antennae and chugging chimneys;
smearing windshields with Vaseline vapor.
While we look out and dread
our first tender, numb steps outside,
crunching and slipping with the fearful hangover
of a punishing Puritan winter.

Premium Member Amnesty

Total amnesty is absent
In this world
For heavy guilt and penalty
In front of law the fairness
Humanity and democracy
Total amnesty is only
In front of God
But God knows your sincerity
Your degree of repentance
Repentance is not
To escape from penalty
To escape from responsibility
To search for another chance
To repeat crime
Total amnesty is only
In front of God
But you have long discarded him
Betrayed him
Outcast his teachings
Total amnesty from God is only
For your heart and soul
You still have to face the world
The law and democracy
The penalty to some degree

Premium Member Life in the Penalty Box

The course of life is like a game,
that many play for wealth and fame.
The rate of play can be so fast,
that many players do not last.

Millions fall in the game of life,
through causes that are all too rife.
Many have keeled over and died,
while others have been laid aside.

Some are sidelined because they are ill,
and cannot exercise their skill.
Others because they lose a job,
And frequently are made to sob.

When forced to stand and watch from the side,
as others run the race in stride.
Many a man has wept and cried,
as fate lays low his pompous pride.

But there are benefits to gain,
when our best efforts end in vain.
Patience is learned while standing still,
not while working to make a kill.

Perspective comes from pondering on,
events of life that have come and gone.
Persistence is learned when we are spurned,
When life is churned, character is formed.

Fleshly lusts and the pride of life,
corrupts the soul and causes strife.
Life’s purpose is learned while standing still,
Living for God, makes the soul thrill.

So, if you’re sitting in the box,
and feeling like a wounded fox.
You cannot charge and lead the hunt
which makes you mad and prone to grunt.

It’s time to take an inward look.
Have you been living by the Book?
Be sure to learn life’s lessons well,
if you in peace desire to dwell.

Then when again, you join the game,
the lesson learned your life will frame.
You will be sober, stronger, wise,
to play life’s game and earn God’s prize.

Heart Penalty

So many feelings
So many insecurities
Over-thinking everything

Marching like a criminal
To the beat of my own car-crash
Lingering in the fire of defeat

Must I meet your hollow empty friends?
Deaf
I dare not stay

Take me back
Back to the beginning

Heart spun
Blindly singing to the sun

You nailed my head to the ground
You kept me alive

You became my muse
Until you tightened the noose
And kicked the chair from under me

Leaving me hanging
My heart dangling.

Thackray thought up a plan
To get three points for the west hams
Called upon Antonio to do a task
“Fetch my friend a theatrical mask
Tell the canary meet for a luncheon
Of course at his dungeon
There will be no bubbles to burst
Only an answer to why Miss Thackray was cursed”
Antonio took the orders
Did contact a reporter
Hornet Daily decided to decline
Meeting with the royals from the new castle on their mind
Evenly spread out
Antonio very calm no need to shout
Four across the board
Before shutting the door
Royals in the new castle
Felt this get together was a hassle
Found a goal early
Surely,
This would separate the west ham from the buzz
Staying united as they always was
Claiming two fouls
Hornets’ staff went to print with a howl
Still on the hammy’s heels
Not investigating if Thackray will ever get another deal
Antonio returned
Successful not burned
Thackray now felt at ease
No longer relegation a tease
Taking a shot of Claret wine
Things getting a good sign
“I will not stalk alone”
Thackray reminder herself in a British tone

Penalty For Crimes

Sudden outburst of Natural Disease
to mankind
Hatred in love
Pleasure in Enimity
Curse in prayers
Holiness in protitutes
Castrated saints
Speaking animals
Living with no dime
Symbols of endtime
Sour like watered lime
The question is.....
Are we being blamed for our
crimes?

PENALTY

                                   This desert- sands dust heat
                                     Mind narrow and fettered
                                     Tagged with God's penalty
