Best Outshines Poems
A lonely bard can paint and write more songs,
Which birds loftily warble all day long,
Every note taps the heart of each flower,
Sprinkles dew drops while silent wind meanders.
Her ballad - a gem of all creations,
A home, hollowed not with admiration,
Chasm within draws perfect harmony
For stars to play a perfect symphony.
With knowledge and love, ink surges so deep,
The feather outshines the wind on its tip,
Lifting up dry leaves lying underneath
Every tale is treasured by golden sheath.
Lonely bard pens the lyrics of our hearts,
Where weary souls can find their road to start.

“I am a lonely bard
I have no song to sing.
This empty ballad is my home.
A feather against the dying wind-
-my only expression.”
-by my dearest sis, Poet Destroyer from her poem, “Umbrella”

This poem is a loving dedication/ homage to my all time greatest & most favourite poet, my loving sis & friend of mine & my number 1 inspiration.

Goddess of love doth shine bright in the skies
As one planet blushes red among the stars
The moon, surrounded by twinkling fireflies
Looms ever so large to a distant Mars
Venus, adorned in her beautiful glow
Outshines Jupiter in the Milky Way
The dark realm of Pluto is too faint to show
But has five moons in orbital array
Diamonds in the sky show off their glisters
As my thoughts to the heavens take flight
A cluster of stars called the seven sisters
Twinkle brightly in an enchanted night
Myths of the night sky are never too far
I gaze in awe and wish upon a star

Venus: Roman goddess of love
Seven Sisters: Also known as the Pleiades
Her Luscious Lips A Tantalizing Treat
A gust of cobalt blue winds grace her face
Brazen black hair outshines cerculean sky
She that dances forth with such princess grace
As if she were angel about to fly
And the woven gleam from those big blue eyes
Her luscious lips a tantalizing treat
Holding her so very tight as red sun dies
I pray true love never know its defeat
Her smile, beautiful as a floating swan
She that walks with the air of princess divine
She my Bathsheba I her loving Khan
And our life, our love making tis so fine
On silken sheets our bed bursts into flames.
Our life is true grand, as we play no games.

She that rocks my world.
Oh how I do love November,
that magic month that outshines September,
where I look upon the face,
of the Twinkle Fairy in all her grace,
as she blesses the leaves
falling from shivering trees
to dance in air and come to rest,
upon Gaia’s soon to be, blanketed breast.
She dances in her wispy blue coat,
and sends the crispy leaves to high afloat
upon the autumn breezes that roam
throughout the countryside by my home;
oh how I can hardly wait to espy,
Zerelda as she comes, twinkling by.
I saw her once, patch a deer’s nose,
it was chapped and swollen so,
her fairy dust on it, she sprayed,
it glistened in the sunlit rays,
like glitter sprinkled on the floor,
smoothing out the skin and pores.
My cat, Eleazer,
he will chase her
and as usual, there’s no doubt,
he won’t catch her but he’ll pout.
She’ll reward him for his game,
his frustrated feelings, she will tame;
Upon his upset brow she’ll thrust,
a wand-wave full of fairy dust.
Then she’ll turn to me and say,
I know you’ve watched me on this day;
but you are kind to fairies like me,
so here’s something for you, free.
With another wave she’ll gift;
a fairy song, she’ll set adrift.

Maples shed their trembling leaves,
the scorch of daylight dies and evening drips
in pools of reddish hue as I bereave the absence
of my heart's desire with saddened, love-lorn lips.
Happiness, a blessing never to be felt again,
slipping from my memory, as distant as the moon;
'neath cloudless skies I roam for miles to look for rain
in search of solace, for my spirit's sorely hewn.
Her gleaming beauty doth illuminate the night,
sets flares to shame, outshines the blushing rose.
I'd trade my soul and halt the oceans in their flight
if only she'd forgive me, put an end to all my woes.
Is Spring a better beauty than the Fall
with insects seeking sweetness as they fly?
Or is the Autumn prettier than all
due to the brightness of the leaves that die?
How brief the kiss so colorful and rare
of orange, red, and brown to name a few.
Yet crisp and clean the smell of colder air
with chill that comes when the first frost is due.
The barns are pregnant with the nature’s yield
as pewter thunder colors crown the skies.
Now laid stark bare are waving Summer fields…
the harvest feast is set before our eyes.
The Autumn season most outshines the rest
and with respect we say, "Come Fall, Be Blessed."

Giyani, my homeland, my forefathers land
Located deep in South Africa in the Limpopo province
Where all things are bright and beautiful
Far from fraud of fertility
It's an infamous land
The moonlight outshines the streetlight
Giyani is indeed a beauty
It's like the Garden of Eden
Full of fruit trees
It's sweetest mangoes, oranges and Tomatoes seeds from ZZ2
I know the roots of it's trees are valuable
Oh, my grey aged great grandfathers childhood
Mother Nature chose this place
The birds on the thatched roots, are the tourist attraction
The Ritavi River running by
Everyday the sun shine and set
And brightens up the sky
Indeed Mother Nature chose you, Giyani
You're the promising land
Flowers looks beautiful
The land where all of us are the best we can possibly be
They say you're poor
But I can't see it
Do you have to cry out somebody to believe?
Believe me everybody cries sometimes
even me!
FATAL ATTRACTION
-------------------------
His lucent light illumines her eyes
His face outshines the sun
His ethereal beauty unveils the skies
Her vibrant vision swiftly succumbs
Her silenced tongue, his intimate touch
His intangible hands sliding/slithering
Spiraling down with a gentle glide
Her body cold and shivering
His fiery eyes ignite a flame
Her attention he gains as she stares
Their lips entwine, his blissful rapture
Devours her heart from cares
Encapsulated, she can't escape
He clutches her in his arms
Her safe haven, her wedded love
His pearl preserved from harm
Her beating heart, a decelerate speed
Her aperture devoid of breath
His succulent waters drown her tongue
Compelling her closer to death
Solitary seclusion, her world in diffusion
Subverts her mind, subtracts her understanding
He gains her trust, thrusting utter confusion
Rest assuring her of a safe landing
She drowns herself to ceaseless sleep
In his grasp from detouring distractions
At her beauteous site, he rejoices and weeps
Absorbed in her FATAL ATTRACTION
i write slam better than anyone around
i leave you screaming without the sound
no-one can handle my lyrical style
i outstrip you all by a country mile
spitting these words without restraint
with your blood the walls i'll paint
your head falls off when you read my words
more taboo than the bees and the birds
if only this site would let me swear
you'd be picking chunks of vomit right out your hair
because i'm sicker than a dirty joke
make no mistake i'm not an ordinary bloke
got a mind that can think in several dimensions
i knock you down if you have pretentions
don't even try and take me on you can't win
i'll send your poems to the bargain bin
my intellect and wit outshines all
i can build you up and i can make you fall
black and blue from verbal attacks
look theres a rock quick get back....
under it
if not i'll sunder it
i'll kick you to the curb
with a noun and a heavy adverb
i could go on and on and on
but i really feel like i am done
i embarass all who assail me
if you dont like it. tough. you cant jail me
my sparkling put downs will never fail me
so if you feel brave try and comeback at me
i'll make you get down on both knees
a slap in your face
you are a complete disgrace
What sustains Life like water?
What is as fresh and welcoming like the countryside?
And as sweet as a newly made confectionery
baked with honey?
I just found one
well placed in all corners of your heart.
A feeling encompassing the goodness of life.
Is it the blissful visitation
to the tenants of the deep blue sea?
Or a radiant rainbow floating in the moist skies?
Is it red roses, milk Sunflowers
and other colorful plants in pink, green and yellow?
Or the site of a happy set of little quintuplet siblings?
Is it the baby chicks peeping out from their nest
to spy on the first morning rising sun?
They all are no where
near the unbelievable goodness of your love.
Sweetheart!
You are a majestic glamor
full of gracious providence.
Not even the magneting beauty
of the Queen Cleopatra
can be compared to the pillars of your virtues
which prove to overcome time's curfew
eclipsing my heart totally
as I soak in the foam of your passions.
A natural habitat have I found
in the gardens of your affection
and a new existence
from the deep baptism of your unequaled care.
I never believed a star could be as near
but here I am; with a being
who outshines a galaxy.
My soul has lost records of its bountiful happiness
from this train of love
with the wish its rails are never ending
and its journey, everlasting.
Thee sweetest lily and flower of Eden’s garden growing wild and free
held under this enchantment where the daises circles around gold
Flower of hearts where there shades of apple blossoms pink
dazzling the night under the teardrops of angels deeply unfold petals
Within a black satin velvet sky twinkling centre of stars your beauty outshines
with piercing diamond light inside a halo you are crowned perfectly regal
Princess of the starlight gaze faraway holding a dream enveloping an echo
enchanted by the magic you spell one in a thousand whispers
Tinsel, glitter, angel hair,
A fresh-cut evergreen tree,
Colored balls and lights that glare
Help to foster Christmas glee.
Bright-wrapped presents, large and small,
Jingling bells and Christmas songs,
Cold, crisp air and Santa's call...
This, at Christmas time, belongs.
But this is just the outer wrap
On a gift much more divine,
That may become a real trap
If we do not read the sign,
“Before Christmas, open dear,
Hold it up for all to see,
Spread it round throughout the year,
Let it flow so pure and free”.
Keep unwrapped this gift called Love,
Buried neath the cards and bows,
The gift that came down from above...

God can use anybody even our limitations, or disabilities. Nothing is impossible with Him. You are valued more than you know, and loved beyond measure. Each one of us is His prize possession, and let no one tell you otherwise. Like a diamond in the night let your light outshines the darkness, and no matter what we face just trust and know with Jesus everything will be alright.
Your Taj Mahal
Too many times you hoisted anchor
there isn't time but you should thank her,
for being such a goober for so long.
You have made her life a Taj Mahal
there she swims in waist deep indigo,
she's reflected in the cesspools of your morning sun.
An ivory tusk is what you're after,
a monument to fun and laughter,
she shaves your neck out on the street for fun,
she's New Delhinese from head to toes,
but you brought her to the Poconos,
where your Taj Mahal outshines the morning sun.
You talk about the plight of Gandhi
most of the night and all day Sunday,
and tell your friends about the things she's done,
at her spinning wheel she worships you,
but she's leaving in a week or two,
if she told you now it wouldn't be much fun.
She'll board a ship that's hoisting anchor
and meet a poet or a banker,
avoiding caste from where she once belonged,
she'll remember you for making her
one more monument to how things were,
when your Taj Mahal was whiter than the sun.
