Best Oes Poems
An Acrostic Sonnet inspired by United Colours Yellow Poetry Contest of Silent One:
Orange, which is not such a favored hue,
Rarely decorates hills, streams or plains.
Does orange matter? Well, in road work lanes,
It paints the bright cones guiding cars on through!
Not very much else does that color do!
As a terrorist alert, it’s made gains.
Really bright, it highlights, but makes bad stains.
Yet I love Cheetos, which are orange too!
Ordinary yes, but it's the new black!
Red and yellow birthed it; that‘s quite grand.
Autumn and Halloween gives it glory days.
Not to mention also this: we can’t lack
Getting its one vitamin named C, and
Evenings are best when it sets skies ablaze!

Very many years ago,
In the land of rich men called NO,
Bobo, a poor man, had nowhere to go,
"Give me a little space to stay", he pleaded, but lo,
"Your place is out of the city," they shooed him and so,
Outside he stayed in sun, rain and snow,
Rainbows glowed, stars shone, sun rays blazed on NO and Bobo.
Reality was - All the people
In the land of NO
Benefited Out of Bobo's Woes;
For when Bobo died, (and 'twas soon)
The heavens cried, (so did stars, sun and moon)
All lights stopped shining, (darkness invaded)
The men started whining, (fear pervaded)
The rich men died, (one by one)
No one did abide, (no, not one)
NO was no more NO without poor Bobo;
The rich did never know that HE had been their Rainbow.

Tiny sprinkles of blush and pixie dust
Sparkles in a straight line from sun’s light.
The OEs (overeducated) may give credit to the sun.
They are unaware of the power of the fey.
I watch this pixie dust land on buds that will bloom tomorrow.
Roses, lilies, daffodils and willow trees, responding to this magic.
The OEs will probably sprinkle them with water, thinking they did it.

A beautiful creation does exists;
for God has, in Jesus' kingdom, lain marble.
Numbers of pearls.
Quazars radiate skywards,
torchlighting unbelievable views, without.
Xenophobia;

Will you come with me down a road magical,
Only in my deep memory does this magic glow;
Now in poems, I pen poetry with words quite beautiful.
Does love ever really die or does it just continue to grow?
Every single day is wondrous, in remembrances utterly staggering,
Rhymes that swirl in my mind, must meet paper to become poems lovely;
From my memory comes the inspiration and concepts that are often weeping,
Unique this road I have travelled in my short life that make my words seem lonely;
Listen to my magical words, like bird songs in a forest, oh listen to the melody!

Talmend ritmies, soet sal klink; as hul die loflied bring.
Liedere, sange, stemme klink; hul ereplek is lankal vol –

Jou jas in my kas wil nie meer pas – ‘n las bly inderdaad

Marvin Gaye wants
To revolutionize wrong rights
And to god he rants
Impeding all too familiar fights
And Bob didn’t do that.
So government reclines with a frown
To a bob, who’s no rat.
Question: Who did shoot the deputy down?
The amorous BEP vs.
The CIA, Blood, Cripps & KKK
Odium to discrimination, carnage, affliction, inhumane and curses
Hovering to hanker after this fuming tornado of human debts to closing stage
And Alicia’s “streets of new York”
All about street *oes
And why they PREREQUISITE to fork
And the dead with bullet holes
Our fragile strength resembling wood
But: “It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day
It’s a new life, and am feeling good”
And the children’s sun is where we stay
Dedication to Alicia Keys, Black Eyes Peas, Michael Buble, Bob Marley, and Marvin Gaye
