Summertime Fun
B almy summer breezes blow.
E arly risers greet the sun.
A dolescents on the go
C atching sun rays ‘til well done,
H oping for a healthy glow.
B oys and girls now out of school,
L aughing in their new-found leisure.
A t the beach or at the pool,
N o more lessons, naught but pleasure.
K eeping company by twos,
E very girl must have her boy.
T oes freed from confining shoes,
B aring feet and legs with joy.
I nnocence is on display,
N o restrictions to annoy.
G rowing more tan every day.
O h that summertime would stay.
