Norm Duel N Johnno

.....Norm Duel and Johnno of the Second Twenty Fifth.....
Were in Syria in 1941.....
They were surrounded by the French Foreign legion with....
75mm cannon and machine gun ....
Their mortar position was in a hundred gallon pit.....
They'd plonk the Vichy French just a bit....
A wounded calf was still a bellowing, with the shrapnel it was hit....
3 men tried to help it, 3 Aussies died, calf blown to bits....
Charley had his own gun pit and was snug in his private hole...
The 75 shell blew the tree away, but hadn't parted his soul....
4 out of 10 survived to live, on that bitter battered hill....
10 days cannon shell, the shocking hell, the nightmare lingers still!......
shellshock...

1942....In New Guinea green when sudden death was all around ....
Norm Duel fought a Jap Mountain gun, the screaming 75mm round....
It would explode in the treetops & shrapnel sliced your hide ....
Many Aussies caught a bit and some of them they died.....
The Mountain gun was after Norm and his Mortar team just a bit....
So Norm went behind a nearby hill burned the Mountain gun, that's it ....
Unlike the mortar the mountain gun couldn't hit them till.....
Safe behind the hill they plonked away, & then the Gun they'd kill...
As Norm said the Gun couldn't get enough elevation to drop a shell on them,......... Norm
Duel went to Syria and 3 times back to New Guinea...............So for a change the Mortar
had the advantage and won the fight...Don Johnson.....

Premium Member To the Norm, Truck It

This Scottish guy never cares for the norm
It doesn't bother his ass, no matter the form
There's too much of this
And there's too much of that
Please write to the form, or suffer the storm

May I add this doesn't conform to the Syllable count.

Premium Member It's Norm, Down On the Farm

There once was a parachutist called Norm
Who parachuted into an alligator farm
He said with a hell of a shout
"Blimey! it's time to bail out"
Before I'm the calm before their storm

The Societal Norm

Exhilarating the feeling to designate.
Invigorating those ideas to resonate.
Fabricating myth and lies to educate.
All for the power to humiliate and eliminate.

I have it all while you are less.
Always standing tall while you are always in a mess.
On Top while you fall to join the lost and the rest,
Almost divine that nothing can contest.

By Hook or crook, I always surpass the better,
Better than everyone! Disgusting and tattered!
My assets and treasure along the path that I have centered.
My perfect stature, even after heads were severed.

Bloods on my hands stained by the innocence slaughtered.
Tears on their faces as they ready to be tortured.
The stains of red, my resources sorted.
Paying of my debts with power I have accumulated!

Premium Member Bow Down To Storm To Rise Upto Norm

Bow Down to Storm, To Rise up to Norm

In praying position as the religion directs, bow down to storm
As god’s judgement, can’t avoid, have to weather it as the norm.

Will the storm breed life or decay and destroy is the question?
Will one be able to gather the strength to rebuild and refreshen?

Night ends day begins, day ends night begins, is a cycle of life
Bad will be cleared by good, to cycle bad again put more strife

Don’t cry anymore if in life you have to face hardships of love
But one must try to forget hardships consorted with life thereof.

The conflict between life and decay will soon come to an end
And the flowers of life will soon grow and blossom in the end.

The aftermath of hardships is like the aftermath of the storm
Only way to face them is to rise, to reconstruct and to reform.

Premium Member Escaping the Norm

Each day brings new moments
every moment can feel the same
as weeks and months fly past
am I the one to blame?

Why is the norm so plain?
being uneventful so mundane
break away to something else
remove from within this dark stain

To be alone need not be
for peace is your companion true
walking among God's created earth
enjoy these moments so new

Listen to music of such beauty
orchestrated together making one calm
read many poetically crafted gems
giving you such a contended balm

These moments are to savour
life's silent spots so rare
memorise them in your thought bank
giving God thanks for His care

Premium Member I Will Defy the Norm

I hear your doubt, I feel your scorn
But I will rise up, and defy the norm
I will not be held back, I will not be denied
I will break through, and reach the other side

No matter the odds, no matter the cost
I will not be stopped, I will not be lost
I will keep pushing, I will keep striving
I will keep believing, I will keep surviving

Your doubt may be loud, but my faith is strong
My courage will never waiver, no matter how long
I will not be beaten, I will not be bowed
I will keep going, until I am proud

I will reach the top, I will make my mark
I will show the world, I can light the dark
Your doubt may be loud, but I will be louder
I will rise up, and make myself proud.

Nervous Wreck By Norm Taulbee 2007 (C)

She seen the open road to love, thinking she could drive,
Speeding off to happiness, gonna do or die,
No heed to any warning , no sign of slowing down,
Burning youthful passion, and a bridge to her home town,

The road of love is always winding. she was learning how to drive,
She was off to find real happiness, racing on to paradise
Her road was paved with promises, Her heart had placed a bet,
To soon her road had narrowed , and she became a nervous wreck

Oh the highways and the byways , the pitfall and the snare,
Standing there beside herself, to late in life to care,
Her highway now is closing, no one left in town,
And the pieces of a nervous wreck, must finally settle down,

The road of love is always open, sometimes with a wretched toll,
To soon her road had detoured, sending back a lonely soul,
Now beside the road she’s waving, watching true love pass her by,
And the pieces of a nervous wreck , are brushed off to the side,

Off to the races for Grandpa Norm

Off to the races for Grandpa Norm
Off to the races for Grandpa Norm
He's my favorite grandpa though

Some may consider him a bit odd
Because he plays with us and other boys and girls
Grandpa Norm is so sweet
He gives us treats
He comes in love, he gives us love

Off to the races for Grandpa Norm
Off to the races for Grandpa Norm
He's my favorite grandpa though

Running round the house and yard we run
Together we're having so much fun
Chasing each other watchin him chase the dog
As the dog chases the cat chases us
Me and my brothers and sisters
Playing games once again grandpa off to the races

Deception's Disasters of Commitment To the Norm

Drifting memories of dreams of contributing good works to the benefit's of humanity & the world. In transition from youth to adult hood the closet of forgotten good deeds opens it's doors to more inventory to be stored. As the closet of skeletons greets bad deeds and advertise there is always room for one more. The reality of survival learning by trial and error as temptation lurks at every turn cast a number of human souls to the existence of broking spirits. Anything of good the broken spirit don't wanna hear it. As pups a litter of puppies happily play yet how many become vicious as the innocence fades away. Not all; still some do. As humanity evolves to the good or bad of life's equation the seesaw of rights and wrongs, shapes personality, character, and image. The pursuit of financial gains with no other option to exist in comfort blur the lines of right & wrong along with good or evil for many. The bigger picture take on an image of the circumstances any facing and the environment in which any living.Food, shelter, clothes is a hunger most all humans & creatures of earth know. Out of the three neccesaties who's deprived more;Humanity or the creators? Self proclaimed is mankind's intelligence more than the other inhabitants of earth about existence. But from the view of comfort & social harmony who is living worst. We can agree, cope, and compromise to survive the environment we exist. If good, peace, and happiness not the outcome then has humanity waisted the opportunity to taste of it.....
Unselfish as time & refined as wine is the most knowledgeable and competent's patience, mercy, and forgiveness of humanity's faults in the test of conduct and deeds....Life!!

                                             Enjoy!!!!

Norm, the Dragon

I have a friend named Norm,
A dragon friend is he;
He’s a friendly kind of dragon,
Not like the dragons on TV;

We spend our days playing games,
Sometimes we even fly;
Zooming in and out of clouds,
High up in the sky;

When it’s time for me to go to sleep,
He tells me stories of old;
Of mean little knights, fiery fights,
And caverns filled with gold;

See Norm is the best kind of dragon,
The perfect type of creation;
Cause I made him up inside my mind,
He’s born of my imagination!

Premium Member Molested Humans Are the Norm

Rape will always be rape, be it 'stranger' or 'friend, '
Be it soldier or priest; it is still about shame!
Just a dollop of power and perps seek the weak,
And their purpose is always to sully one's name.

Dreams of rape invite prey to be victim no more,
For the weak ones "recovered," now bring others pain,
True, some scapegoats get punished, the few who get caught,
But the truth is quite simple; our species not sane!

Rape's no longer just physical, now social norm,
Every bride that sells self or sold, womb's meant for birth,
While society screws hapless men sent to war,
Robbing all souls of empathy, scourging the earth.

Anyone claiming they're 'untouched' likely a liar,
Be you son or a daughter; there's price to be paid.
A child born out of wedlock has bastard for dad,
But there's never a winner in such escapade.

It's no wonder some leaders look like Donald Trump,
The high priest of the angry, he laughs at their trust,
Likely raped by his family, wanting revenge?
The psychotic just laugh, need no psychiatrist.

Immortal Norm

Feign neither to these visioned damsel life!
Do ultra-pain ever vanish with time?
Pre-infant, a thorny storm stunned out like a nipple
Some say normally, it only tickles
Stony bloke says, it's a nitty-gritty while my blood ripples
What he wish to see ;for her to move fast out of cripple

Several done seasons, her pistil rose grown
Gone is when slip, now it's two boost slope
Visual shape of womanhood enclose
Even yet, they say, if guys whistle blow, put on a frown
Deceit voice she heard, alot of love compose
Yea! At every seconds, what are we to say of those?

A stage to fish for one to lovelock in cage
Distractions of many but one was name
Having pleasures of sweet-bitter plan as it was read
Pain dropped to her ball, till the thrice three months
When that kid wail out the pride of her mum
Be it continuum! Echoed the immortal Norm.

The True New Norm Is Here

People everywhere
Talk of the new norm
Yet, there is a new norm
Which is the true new norm
Jesus is the Gateway to this
Mind blowing new norm!
See into the spirit realm
Hear heaven speak
Have a conversation with God
Learn to partner with heaven
Practice this new norm
And see your world turn
Right side up, fast forwarding
Your destiny and identity!
