Dream

Her arms outstretched and waiting
to see her love once more
She stands within the sands of time
as sea gulls rest upon the shore
Her eyes close in concentration
as she begins to take her flight
On wings only seen to her
she flies throughout the night
He knows she will return
as she's always done before
So he picks a rose of crystal
to show his love once more
She sees him in the distance
and her heart picks up beat
He's the world she had hoped for
even though in dreams they meet
This life they share together
to him, is sweet as morning dew
One day this dream they share
will possibly come true

Hokus Strokus

Call me the
magician, pulling
rabbits out my hat,
the 13th Friday
Jason Voorhees
stabbin at your cat,

with hocus strokus
powers when I use
my magic wand,
soft upbeat
melodies are
sprinkled to a
sadder song.

True oral
capabilities that
tangle with the
gods, just wrap
your legs around
my love of flesh and
made as hard,

as concrete in the
city jungle, let me
splash and rain,
with multiplistic
pleasures only you
will ascertain.

The body of a
goddess hottest
motions we'll divide,
the feelings warmer
than the hottest
ocean when inside,

your core of molten
lava java with a drop
of milk, your
nectar's sweet as
sugar woman, not a
drop I'd spill.

We're swimming in
the heavens you
and I collide as one,
the brownest colors
sparkle when your
eyes align the sun,

for I'm your Mr.
Wizard but our
show aint for TV,
it's not for K-I-Ds
the grown and
onlyest is we.

I know that you are
captivated by my
strokus spell, your
chances of escape
are like a snowball's
chance in hell,

your cool demeanor
melts so fast into a
running stream, my
tongue will lap your
essence up, a vivid
stunning dream.

The ghetto Harry
Potter but I will not
make a flick, unless
we're filming
cunnilingus, lemme
take a lick,

then afterwhich I'll
stamp you like an
envelope in jail, the
magic spells I cast
will do much more
than open mail.

In fact extinguish all
the lights, upon
your walls I'll write,
graffiti in Tahiti, we
will bounce and ball
all night,

because I'm a
magician known for
tricks and slight of
hand, I don't invest
illusion, yes I am
the rightest man.

Before I end this
baby I will get down
on my knee, and
pledge undying love
to you for all the
years I breathe,

it's more than just
the magic of the
stroke that drives
you wild, don't ask
me how I do it, it's
the hokus strokus
style.

A Poet's Dream

Hippocrene (hip'?-kren‘) is a fountain on Mount Helicon, Greece, sacred to the Muses and
regarded as a source of poetic inspiration.
Mnemosyne (nemoz'ini) is a titan who is the personification of remembrance. She is the
mother of the nine muses: “All nine muses have a science or an art to protect. Cleo
protects the stories of heroes, Urania astronomy, Calliope elegies, Melpomene the
tragedies, Euterpe flute playing, Erato love poems, Tepsicore choir lyrics, Thalia the
comedies and Polyhymnia dance and music.”
“The Muses love to sing and dance. They are superior in musical competitions and any one
who dares to challenge them will always fall short, just as those who question their
importance.”

In a dream I drink from fount Hippocrene
The daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne
Encompass me while I quench. Nine muses
Guarding their arts from human abuses.
I'm not here to challenge or to question;
Nor I seek material possessions.
My presence among you in this dreamy
State is caused by my love of poetry.
And you, Erato, muse of all love poems
I'm a sleepy poet asleep at home.
It's known by few you sing beautifully.
Would all you muses’ sing a song for me?
My thirst is quenched from draft of drinking cup.
Please! Please sing for me before I wake up.

Stary Moonlight

Songs of love will be sung at night
Sung in the light of the starry moonlight
Love conquers all or so they say
Better at night though than during the day
Magical moments each moonlit night
Lovers gaze while the moon shines bright
The animals share these moments too
While the moon shines brightly down on you
Nocturnal creatures great and small awake
Looking for food when its there for the take
All gods’ creatures love the moonlight so
The magical moments as they come and go
The werewolves awake with a howling cry
They may be mythical but then I may lie
Vampire bats with their teeth sharp and thin
Looking for a human neck to sink them in
The owl swoops down to catch it’s prey
The moonlight shows the owl the way
Stars are shining with the moon
Dying down as the day breaks soon

Loving You Across the Miles

June 7,09
How can I be loving a man across the miles like I do?
There are no words of expression to say how I’m feeling.
We must be some kind of kindred spirits.
Where two feel each others thoughts even in the biggest of winds.
Where there was no love at all there is love now.
Loving you across the miles has been bittersweet.
Wise men say only fools rush in but, I can’t help falling in love with you!
Loving you across the miles ,
but, wait there are no miles between us any more.
You have come to be in my heart where no one has been before.
I now love you even more.

Serenade De Joie - a Witches Moon

Spectacular sphere
that glows my night,
bleed me to space,
I feel no fright

Smiling your face
looks down on me,
gazing to sky,
I’m smiling in glee

This madness hits
strikes me in love,
floats to celestial
on songs of the dove

A Serenade De joie
caste into dark light,
dimpled in sprinkles
stars blazing bright

A man on the moon
is in love with the sea,
and here I sit pining
in my love for thee

Nervous Wreck By Norm Taulbee 2007 (C)

She seen the open road to love, thinking she could drive,
Speeding off to happiness, gonna do or die,
No heed to any warning , no sign of slowing down,
Burning youthful passion, and a bridge to her home town,

The road of love is always winding. she was learning how to drive,
She was off to find real happiness, racing on to paradise
Her road was paved with promises, Her heart had placed a bet,
To soon her road had narrowed , and she became a nervous wreck

Oh the highways and the byways , the pitfall and the snare,
Standing there beside herself, to late in life to care,
Her highway now is closing, no one left in town,
And the pieces of a nervous wreck, must finally settle down,

The road of love is always open, sometimes with a wretched toll,
To soon her road had detoured, sending back a lonely soul,
Now beside the road she’s waving, watching true love pass her by,
And the pieces of a nervous wreck , are brushed off to the side,

Seeing Her

Yes love has no body
But when I saw her,
Love was body.
So confined to at her
Behold, seeing love in person.

And when her mouth opened,
I heard love speak for the last first time.
Will this be the last time?
Yes, till eternity in heaven.

It was countless
my turns to watch her
No, to watch love.

She was the wife
am not married to.

And all I wished
was a Judas' kiss.

A Vision In the Rain

As the branches fall away
and the night has cast her spell,
as my form is disappearing
and I sink into inkwells

A campfire is burning down
cooling embers warm my mind,
and within this wordless vessel
empty hollows can’t hold rhyme

I wondered what to do
till the fire was my friend,
And then it finally hit me
that I’ll never write again

And all the wordless poems
drifting without names,
now none will ever be written
my passion lost its flame

Those silly little rages
that roared around my head,
snuffed out all my dreams
my visions now lay dead

But when I brushed the stars
as I sometimes did,
I gasped in awe and wonder
as my head was hung and hid

This magic that was shared
and seared within my veins,
will live among my memories
as burning scores to stain

I will miss your gentle missives
sent throughout the night,
I will miss the love and friendship,
that glowed within the lights

And it’s always at the last
my heart does pause in pain,
but with all my being I love you
may we meet inside the rain

Always look for a Tail
that curls around the moon,
know that its my message
and I’m spinning round the room

Adieu and goodbye
are words I cannot say,
maybe I shall save them
until my dying day

Until a magic rainbow
calls me from stalled time,
my word waits in the grotto
I’ve built within my mind…

And now I have to go
with gentleness,no pain,
knowing that I’ll see you
as Rainbows Bloom Again.

The Queen of the Meadow

I shall sleep and I shall wake beside the queen of the meadow ,safe and sound in her arms.
for I am in love with the queen of the meadow, her skin like magic her hair filled with
sunshine as her eyes are like looking up into a tree well I am burning in her fiery fields.
laying in her home of mist I will say forever more. I am in love with the queen of the
meadow.

Love

Love is looking at you
looking at me
Looking deep inside
trying to find the outside
Sharing passion, romance, and love
while I am with you above
People thinking love isn't real
cause their hearts are broken and want heal
if you try hard
you will make it
You will get there
I swear
If you believe
you will succeed
Well this poem is through
I hope I helped you....

To Love a Ghost

I’m going down a path of destruction and disappointment
But if I change my course
I will be without you…
If I ever had you to begin with.
You are my light
You illuminate this long path
Without you to guide me
I would stumble and wander astray
But I must think of you…
For no one can love a ghost.
I only burden you
I do not wish to haunt you
You have other things on your mind…
Invisible to you
Your frightened by my presence…
Just like everyone else
I never meant to scare you
But I am a ghost
And no one could love a ghost.
I wonder this path
This familiar path
I hold your hand
Surprised you pull away
You are terrified of something
Unexplained.
You run
Desperate I follow your light
Selfish I am
To stalk this way
But I can’t help it
I’m afraid to stay away
With a love
Painted in blood
I am only killing you
I’m a parasite
I feed off you to get what I want
Leaving you hollow
Miserable.
I never meant harm
Honestly it was not in my intentions
I just want your love
But that’s asking too much…
For I am a ghost
And no one could love a ghost.

Magical Me

Mystical, magical,
a beauty that calls to you
from behind the shadows.
Are you there?
Take my hand and I can show you
all that you desire.
Will thou have me?
Will thou love me?
I wait in the darkness
for the one that will fear me, love me,
do as I say.
I can read your thoughts,
I know what it is that you desire.
For the soul can speak without saying a word.
Darkness falls and I must go.
Wait for me?

CRYSTAL BALL GIRL
Oh crystal ball you show the face I know
in far too many strange and distant dreams,
revealing in a burst of sunlit glow
that lights the dark, where nothing's as it seems.

Just like a waterfall, I breath the freshened air,
and gaze into the eyes deep crystal blue
to see if any end is ever there,
but deep is all there is, and it is you.

I fall forever into love I've found,
with no return--not ever from this place,
and love her eyes, this hallowed sacred ground,
I stand upon, just gazing at her face.

And then you bring the warm and summer rain,
to cool my heart, and ease it of its pain.
