Premium Member My Brilliant Nephew Guy

I did not think you knew what an azimuth was, I said to Guy.
“I am not a Neolithic,” he told me with a sniff, I know why…
Some people misjudge this brilliant child of two months past twelve.
His mind goes where others have never had the chance to delve.

What do you use it for? I asked, testing him just a bit.
“to install satellite dishes,” he said. He is a precocious little chit.
We were at the Wambuul river where the Casuarina trees grow.
Not an elegant place, but it suited us down to each toe.

Guy suggested knapping a bit of flint while we were here.
I had some of my tools so I said “of course, why not? where?”
His mind was lightyears away, for he had his brain in a book.
Reading about quasars, for his mind grabs knowledge like a hook.

My Little Nephew

It made my day
To see you smile
I want to cry
As day by day
You get bigger
You stuck out your tongue
Opened your big blue eyes
My little nephew
I sure do love you

Dearest Nephew

Dearest nephew,
I wish you were here today
, to take your momma and daddys pain away,
to help them get thru the toughest,
the hardest of times, the heartaches,
 the pains.
All they want is you back

We as a family try to help to understand
but the fears and the doubt,
just doesn't seem to help them out.
All we want is you.

Dearest nephew,
if you were here life
would be so much better,
everyone would be so happier with you
 by their side,
you could meet you brothers and sissy
, and everyone else misses you too!
This is coming from your aunt
I just wish you we're here
to bring mommy and daddy back to normal once again
! I miss their smiling face!

( Dedicated to my nephew matthew lynn) passed @ 5wks old who would be almost 5yrs old now!

Women Advice From Uncle To Nephew

WOMEN...ADVICE FROM UNCLE TO NEPHEW
(based on a conversation of letters from a Greek uncle to nephew 460 AD)

Dear young man, if it's love you seek
Beware that you don’t seem too meek
A woman says she wants a man
Who will be kind --meet her demands
But men who try to please with smiles
Are not victorious in life's trials
Lift up your eyes and look around
The bold men rule the sky and ground
If you’re demure –you’re thought a freak
And women spread the word you’re weak
If you run scared or spurn a fight
You’ll find your bed an empty sight

Nephew -A Tribute

I love you to bit's with your constant banter
It's like you always have me in fit's of laughter
This child who picks me up when your sad
This little dude who is just wild and mad

He's the little rebble always up to mischeif
The little devil loves giving mum and dad greif
Always ready to pouce on me the little rasscle
Maybe he just thinks I'm a bouncy castle

Clinging to mummy when she's trying to talk
Puzzled,he looks at me,eyes wide like a hawk
His cheeky little face thats kieron, when I arrive
Wanting to play catch or chase but he's only five

Watching him frown, unsure of what to make of you
He picks me up when down, Kieron my little nephew
Through times of sadness,he never seems to anoy
He just brings so much happiness and tears of joy

Written(2002) a year after he turned five

To My Nephew Hunter

Loving sighs and lullabies and kissing you goodnight

Loving you as you love me and keeping you in sight

Gum in hair and spilled milk scares

and teaching you to turn on the light

My bond with you means so much,

yet I've run out of things to write.

Meet Your New Nephew

Dearheart
You precious little thing
Tiny in my arms
Small and fragile
I think I’ve met you somewhere before
There is a quiet knowing between us
An unspoken bond
Hello old friend
It’s nice to see you again

My Nephew, My Angel

Gazing into your angelic eyes
All around, echo your cries
With tiny feet, tiny palms
I cradle you, in my arms
From sunset until sunrise.

Your pretty smile, I love to see
You mean the world to me
Care for you all day all night
Never let you be out of sight
On my mind, in my heart you be.

When in grief with tears to hide,
To seek advice or to confide,
Your aunt will lend a patient ear,
Or a shoulder to rest your tear,
You will find me by your side.

We've met just a while ago
Yet each other, we seem to know
Will always wish the best for you
May you succeed in what you do
Can't wait to see you grow.

My Nephew Bucky

My Nephew Bucky.
You have always been a special one
You made me so very proud
We always had special times and fun
We'd dance and sing aloud.

When you'd fall and get hurt
You'd run to me to stop the pain
and wipe away your tears and dirt
No matter what our love remains.

You grew up to be big and strong
You went to serve our country
Came home safe where you belong.
Knowing you did your best to keep us free.

Then you fell in love with a lovely girl.
Together you have a special little boy
You've made your mark in this world
You fill your family with so much joy.

story behind this poem

His real name is Aaron buckley. but when he was a toddler he had trouble say the L sound in his name so it always caame our aaron bucky. so the name stuck.
He is my sister's son But I basically raised him. He was my first chance at knowing what a mom felt like. When looking at their child. I did everything for him that I could possibly do,to protect him and keep him happy and on a positive path in life.
Whenever he fell and got hurt he'd come running to me to make it better. Even if his own parents were right there. I'd reach down and pick him up and tell him to hug me so tight his pain would transfer to me. He believed it really worked so he would let go when it didnt hurt anymore and then would run and play. It was those types of things that hold a special place in my heart. jnowing he chose to look up to me for guidaance and go to my parents for anything else. Ge;s turned out to be a great guy and one to be proud of. When there are troubles and things he wants answers to He still comes to me for them.
His birthday is the end of this month so i wrote this for him and shared it on facebook with him and his wife. . This poem and the connection I have with him and his wife as well as sharing photos with both of them. Since there aren't any left from my parents' piles. My siblings destroyed everything. My sister deleted me from her page on facebook over it all. So I blocked her so she can't seen anything else I post. if she wants to grow up again then we'll talk. or try to mend the rift she caused to begin with. God knows what is best and who to bring into our lives and who needs to be taken out. sad really.

To My Lovely Nephew

Pretty little face
Pretty little body
Draped in your white linen
You remind me of an angel
Pure face
Pure soul
Pure heart
I want to drink in your
Pure and limpid spring water
So as to purify my soul
You mean so much to us
You have been the first to come
And you have brighten up our house and our heart
You are the sun
You are the beauty
You are the joy
You are the peace
You are the innocence
We all love you Papa

The Life of Abram's Nephew Lot

From the Bible, there’s a
Story that’s taught…
The story of Abram’s
 nephew Lot.

There was a path for Abram
and Lot to choose.
But Lot was the one
who really did lose.

He chose to live in Sodom!
Filled with wickedness and sin.
Grieving the heart of God once again!

God’s angels came, and led him out!
Before fire destroyed the city throughout!

To live in this city was his choice!
 His own fault!
Later, his wife turned
into a pillar of salt.

Please watch where you go!
And what you say!.
You’re called to represent Christ every day!

Evil company corrupts good morals!
Your spiritual life will rot!.
Please don’t live a life of compromise!
As did Lot!

My Nieces and Nephews

My Nieces and Nephews

This is just a little rhyme,
That will make more sense in time,
A little keepsake from my heart to yours,
To remain with you as your mind matures,
So you will always see, what you mean to me,
So you will always no, my love for you as you grow,
At times you may mistake my authority, as simply strict seniority,
But remember it’s because your happiness is my priority,
I will always be your protector and defender,
Surrounding you with my love so tender,
No matter the disaster, together we will triumphant and master,
I will always endear every second that you’re near,
To fill your life with love laughter and all things nice,
To push you forward so you succeed at life,
To hold your hand in the darkness of strife,
I promise to be the best auntie I can be,
To love you as much as you love me,
Dedicated to my beloved nephews and nieces,
Our families best master pieces.

Premium Member Greetings Nephew!

The dreaded news came from his Uncle Sam with a nice salutation:
"Greetings, Nephew! I need you to help defend the nation!"
He pleaded with the draft board but they turned a deaf ear.
"Your claim of hereditary hang nails won't do, now get outta here!"

At Fort Bleak, the sergeant said, "Your army career has just begun!
Forget Mom, Dad and Maggie Mae, you belong to me now, my son!
Just pay attention, keep your mouth shut, don't give me any sass;
Keep your brogans shined, weapon cleaned, always salute the brass!"

The clothes they issued didn't fit, he looked a terrible disgrace!
His shoes were so big, that in them he could do an about face!
Herded to the barber, he was shorn of all his hair!
Two hours in the army and already sick of the entire affair!

He presented both arms to the medics for numerous injections.
His trembling nude body was subjected to minute inspections.
At last thro' the induction line, his head reeling and spinning!
No sympathy from the sergeants - they just stood there grinning!

The baffled recruit marched to the mess for the evening repast.
Gravy on toast and figs on a steel tray left him hungry and aghast!
The sergeants finally let him collapse in his welcoming cot,
Completely befuddled and bewildered by his hapless lot!

Without never taking 1 lesson

We will keep your spirit alive
Celebrating you every 20th of November

I thank God for creating you
And for being the 1st & last in your life,

Shauryan My Dear Nephew 1

Among all there is a wholesome son.
His name, we feel pride in, Shauryan.
On 20 November was the jewel born.
So precious that all want him as a pawn
But parents not ready to give for scone.
Without looking at him there’s no dawn
Chess playing at different levels is on.
All are sure of his ability family to conn
In a perfect direction without any con.
He is the best known and virtuous icon
Wishing best for his overall solon.
