Premium Member Down With Pessimism

Down with pessimism
  Drown not in negativism
Beware of escapism
  Steer clear of cynicism

Keep far from fanaticism
  It only invites antagonism
Too lonely is monasticism
  Too stifling, collectivism

Failure dogs perfectionism
  Emptiness mars materialism
Insularity deadens catechism
  Stoicism breeds fatalism...

True, this poem is full of criticism
~ But it ends on a note of optimism

Premium Member Lasting Love

It starts out and ends up with Love
for a partner you think the world of
Yet the middle poses daily tests
where the verdict of a marriage rests

To list all these tests would take a book
So let's just take the briefest look
At qualities you'll need in spades
To earn yourselves a passing grade

Acceptance I feel is number one
It keeps a marriage healthy, fun
Use it when you learn that 'perfection'
Is a goal wise couples shun

Next comes mutual respect, understanding
   Never accomplished by grandstanding
Always respect each other's space and privacy
Know when hugs are needed, or a gentle "I see"

One last quality that's key is good cheer and optimism
Loving greetings and goodbyes - never negativism
Encourage, inspire and support; lend a helping hand
Cultivate all this and Love ~ even marriage can withstand

Premium Member Negativity

When you think negative,
         skepticism
  abounds with venom.
    Your delusion and
       contradiction
    feed the shame.

  When you let hostility
       overrule your
         individuality,
       you diverge into
a negative transparency,
      an illusion of life.

    Negativism flourishes,
              enriched
by the removal of the positive,
        the rejected image
        needed to redeem
          your humanity.

    Lack of the positive
   creates the isolation,
        the liability of
  the ‘cause and effect’
         triggered by
          negativity.

Let's Toss a Coin

There is always two sides of a coin,
Yet, whenever we flip a coin, we always know the side that we hoping for.
But every story has a two side, and so is life.
But we always consider one side that we like,
And forget that, the outcome can be what we dislike,
But such is life.

In every situation, we wants to remain only positive.
So we don’t prepare to meet outcome in case they become negative.
But life, in many situation is dependent on the theory of determinism.
So I suggest, we create, a vacuum, in our lives, for an attitude of negativism.

Blessed,
Blessed is he, who expects nothing, for he shall never be disappointed.
And disgruntled, is he, who expect something, for we might not achieve the expected.
But since we always chooses a side,
We will always become gutted when things doesn’t go our way.
Yet, we should be strong to pick up the coin and toss another day.
And let us not our fall defined or destroy us, nor deterred or defeat us
But it should rather make us strong and strengthened us.
But if only we ready to respect every outcome,
There will be nothing like a stun to make an outcome a thunderbolt.

Hitler once said, everyone can deal victory, but for defeat, only the mighty can bear
But life is just like a tossed coin,
So its outcome shouldn’t be miraculous.
Just that, our nemesis makes we think we will always be vanquished.
And that always makes us sluggish

Many situations are fate worse than death.
That we sometimes consider them as myth.
But despite the catastrophe,
Let us not be disappointed, but let us fight till we lift up our trophy

Let us learn to embrace every outcome with a mirth?
Because that can reduce our pain when we become hurt.
But even if we become disconsolate,
Let us continue to say, it is not too late.
But I think we shouldn’t be dillydally, but be hurry.
To pick up the coin and toss again.
Life is full of uncertainties.

(Spiro T. Agnew Looks In A Mirror)

Tea party’s lasting epitaph
The “walking dead” today
Reactionary to the core,
At home, at work, at play,

All Muslims truly terrorists
Might strike next in my town,
Why try to hide your racist heart
Just greet them with a frown

No stranger ever gain our trust,
They might have ill intent
Sweet Liberty’s scrap turned to rust
And brother love long spent!

Let’s do what we accuse them of
Paint Muslims with one brush
As Donald roasts the temple’s dove
On fires stoked by Rush.

Conservatism blown to hell
By rabid dogs of fear,
Hyena’s on self-righteous right
With blood from ear to ear

True monsters feeding on their own
With public left aghast,
Like mongrels fighting for a bone,
All manners in the past.

How many millions do they need,
The middle class striped bare
The one percent caught up in greed,
Like deer in headlight’s glare!

Oh how can I unravel rhyme
Or trump the devil’s curse
The perils of a warming clime
Though Hell’s fire would be worse.

Republicans can only “No”
Have lost their faith in “Yes.”
The only compromise they know
Is one they won’t confess.

For death to them is Left not Right,
Though they still have two hands
But those who want to be their friend
Must yield to their demands.

For Satan’s taught the Right to fear,
For flesh and not for soul,
What’s safe is maximizing wealth,
Your health is not their goal.

Like bobbleheads they ply their craft
This world is just a frame,
And all they really care about
Is who is left to blame!

Brain Waves and Body Craves

Brain Waves and Body Craves

A magnetism
Either draws things together
Or spreads them apart.

Are slaves to brain waves;
What entire body craves;
Rich or poor or knaves.

Are necessary
For our functions to carry
On so we exist.

A negative sign
Indicates a disruption
To normal events.

After we inspect
Items are sure to detect
When not in balance.

Problems we can solve;
Find answers to each question,
So badly needed.

Space satellites should be able to
detect negative signs of activities,
images and brain waves. This is
based on when a high level of
negativism is being displayed.
Precise geodetic location of any
criminal activity, ISIS activity
and destroying tombstones
activity should be able to be
detected. All things consist
either positive, negative or
neutral ions. If they are no
in proper alignment or out
of balance space satellites
should be able to detect this.
Satellites then could become
built in security systems.

Expectations-Missiles Yet Unknown

"My dream, my passion is something like old fashion,

My 'interaction' with 'provocation' in person was fearsome,

I was not really handsome and I didn't had some(to corrupt him),

Author, an accomplished one,

But a minute sound came round and round in origin of a tone,

The world told: You can't do it son,

I was the one with perception,

I didn't want perfection,

A book of mine to be seen in the old book store was my aspiration,

Sitting in the old rusty railway station,

I dreamed of touching my book in my hands where my face touched the ecstatic expression,

Things to be said, Things to be laid,

Things to be achieved, Things to be relieved,

In life, the strongest phase of life,

Your extemporaneous "you" helps for the welfare of you,

Oh! Negativism is diffusing,

Oh! Love is fluctuating,

Oh! Intentions are becoming higher,

Oh! Expectations are literally slaying my head,

I can't sleep on my red bed I said,

My parents didn't do much,

My elders din't care such,

I was getting addicted to something to be avoided called-scotch,

Derogatory connotations began surrounding me,

Pulling me their side,Oh! I see,

I was weeping, not sleeping thinking about my future,

I thought that these expectations can make a suture,

I don't want to be the topper,

I don't want to become a "doctor",

I am not Michael Jackson,

But there's an exception,

Michael Jackson cannot become me,

I am the way I am, I am the way I was,

I am the kid who sees the gleaming stars through the window,

I am the kid who always sits in the back row,

I am the kid who always dreamed to 'furrow',

In my thoughts,

My so called wealthy and healthy thoughts,

My dreams which are my deepest desires, sire,

A book grabs my attention,

Its not the gravitation but my relation-THE TRUE RELATION,

It has some kind of attraction, aggravation towards me, you can see,

Let the expectations just blow away,

Just sow the seed of passion on your way,

This is the key, my goal key, the success key for anything..!!!"

Premium Member Need His Full Armour

If we are on the side of light,
the side of peace,
should we fight negativism?
Or ignore it and it's spread all around us,
becoming a barrier to peace.
THAT is the big question.
If there is wisdom, there should not be any war.
As long as a person is involved with warfare,
trying to defend or attack,
then his or her action is not sacred:
it is mundane, dualistic, a battle field situation.
Few people understand there are motivators other than on the surface.
Fewer still, should try to go to a place, without the full armour of God,
otherwise they will be ill equipped to understand, or have any chance of success.

Premium Member Plucking Poisons From My Mind

Pessimism, I loathe your gloomy effect
Parroting vanity’s vexation in my mind that I’m unprofitable…
God I thank; by His strength* is great achievement as I do my utmost.

Negativism, I vanquish your vehement accusations
Taunting me of my failures, falls, and frustrations…
I praise the Lord for His compassion, pressing me on with optimism!

Skepticism, I conquer your attacking doubts
Robbing me of my sanity’s tranquility; torturing me mentally…
The omniscient Sovereign I trust as I settle myself serenely in His truth!

Criticism, I subdue your undermining, deceitful, hypocritical comments
Treating me as a loser in my service-commitment…
Propped by the Almighty’s power, I can be the best for His glory!

Evil thoughts, I pluck all your poisonous roots from my soul’s ground…
Thru the Scriptures’ exhortations, I can bloom and prosper
Triumphantly living for my Master, reaching others by His love!

*Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Premium Member I Am Flawed

I AM FLAWED

Accept me as what I am for nobody is perfect.
I am not broken, I am just an imperfect person.
Who isn’t? I am just like anybody else with
flaws, weaknesses, imperfections that I do not
hide for I do not live in illusion or acting based
on other peoples’ expectations or opinions of me.

I know I am flawed that I learn to laugh at my flaws
and I even say “thank you, I already know that”.
As far as I know, my flaws only affect me and no
one else for it is beyond my character to hurt or
belittle and to use or take advantage of other people.
He is the One who knows my flaws more than I know them.

That I don’t give a damn about what others think and say.
I am not torn between my reputations based on their opinions
and my character based on who I am; strengths and flaws.
I cannot live in pretense, façade, lies just to please anybody.
I do not wear a mask to hide my imperfections and I cannot
be cracked from the negative things I hear and said about me.

I neither say much nor ask too many questions for it is
best to observe and listen than to compare, complain and
criticize for I am no judge, as it is He who would in the end.
As I said, I am flawed and one of my flaws is staying away
from negativism and that includes people closed to me.
Although it is harder to let go for it is really heart breaking.

However, I rather stay away and remember the good things
about them and the beautiful memories I had with them or
I rather walk away than pretend that everything is all right.
I may stay away or walk away; but I am always ready to be
around when they need me and help them in any way I can
rain or shine or come what may to support and assist them.

Bullets

A lot of homicides are taking place,
The actual damage is being done.
By more than just the one item alone,
That we know of as a gun.
Plenty of rapes are being committed,
By a one that doesn’t even have hands.
Neither do they have legs to run with,
Yet they are used by mere mortal man.
You see this one item has wounded,
A great many soldiers; it has.
Physically in wars; the Civil, and in Vietnam,
Still, mentally, a great many more it has.
They enter in, yes through the head,
They poison our feeble little minds.
The damage that they do is tremendously worse,
We are left in a mere mental bind.
Bullets are what they are,
Though not the type we physically see.
They are invisible to the necked eye,
But the damage is done mentally.
We are trying to grow in grace and,
Taught the “Word” in and out.
Instead of having your faith showing outward,
Someone has planted a bullet of doubt.
With goals ahead and unsure time,
You’re striving to bring those closer and nearer.
But before you have really gotten in the grove,
Here comes a bullet of fear.
Committed to a one who,
Is just as much committed to you.
But bullets of negativism come your way and,
Now you cannot make it through.
Being looked down upon for going against the trend,
All you’re doing is just being nice.
Being on the top about to be shot not once,
But with bullets of jealousy, shot thrice.

President Without a Precident

President Without A Precedent

Is a President
Without any precedent
Not with our consent

Listening to Rachel Maddow show
and this came to my mind. All
of the negativism that is appearing
seems to have an obverse affect
creating a positive response.

The Ecstasy of Love

You often accuse me of seeing you through biased eyes.
That is one of the deep pleasures in life.
To see someone through the eyes of the heart, in all the incredible beauty that endows them with.
It is a richer treasure than all of the storied gold and jewels of the ancient world.

The extremes of passion can make you full and then empty,
loved and then forgotten,
cared for and then abandoned
but only to be loved and cared for and full again.
To bring your cup to overflowing with joy and pain,
overflowing with your own riches and loves and meanings in life.
To spill your wine because you now know it is filled and will be replenished.
To love life.
To love.

There is nothing that is more alive,
nothing more exciting or exhausting,
nothing that looses the rich fertile soil
that grows the soul
like loving somebody.
Loving somebody is more ferocious and tenacious than all the forces of negativism in the world put together. Loving somebody brings more excitement and richness to life than all of the most exotic places in the universe.

I have just been through the most exciting thing in my whole life.
I never even suspected it could happen to me.
Let alone here and in this last year. I fell very very deeply in love.
An incredibly beautiful woman let me into her heart and I learned slowly but very slowly
to let myself love life through her with all my heart.
I loved,
more deeply,
more incredibly
than I have ever let myself love before.
Its no wonder I can't sleep at night.
I want to say Oh my God,
Life is exciting,
people are amazing
and, as hard as it is,
life can open up to me too, even me.
I loved her.
I loved her, I want to shout to the world,
I loved someone.
Life was willing to embrace me too. I too felt love. The most precious gift of all, to be able to love someone,
and I'm almost afraid to go to sleep
for fear I'll wake up and find it all a dream
and myself feeling like I did
before I loved you.
