I saw God But Now What

Line Of Inquiry : "I saw God but now what"

It was Easter and I was kneading bread on my kitchen counter. A nanosecond flash and God's face appeared on my backsplash, by the sink. I had a moment of pure rapture before doubt settled in, "Did I truly see Him or was it just an illusion? An un-worldly experience like this causes a euphoric moment on the heart. But soon fear settled in and I asked myself, "Is this vision an imminent sign of my impending death? Or proof of His true existence.
Faith you cannot see
like depth of the sea
or roots of a tree
Along the years, there have been other Grace filled moments such as this. Like the time I sat in a retreat center to pray and a gentle wind blew through my very soul, leaving me in tears. " I was found." The message was brought home by His Sacred presence in me. A pivotal moment of awareness and I knew God was the living seed of my mere existence. Although I didn't see Him this time, I truly felt His presence, and recognized the Divine in me.
Love is the answer
Love is a lancer
Love is a dancer
I have grown old and wise and this broken vessel is filled with the wear-and-tear of a well served life. So as my hourglass body pours itself out, I sit by the river and watch the birds of the air go by. Each one of them brings a message from Him, " When your time is near, I'll be there dear," This is what I hear as I listen, with a very grateful heart.

Premium Member Unassailable Purity

Her birth was never trumpeted,
Nor caught any media headlines.
Born to Joachim in very ordinary settings,
Virgin Mary, the simplest of the simple,
Was specially chosen to perform a task divine.
As she grew up, she pledged to keep her body and soul,
Free of all blemish and stains of fleshly desires.

But in her teens, she was betrothed to Joseph,
Perhaps, part of a divine plan.
Did dreams come to nab her sleep, no one knows!

She found joy in prayer and absolute surrender to God.
Once when in silent communion with God,
Hearing the flap of wings overhead, she looked up.
Seeing the flash of blinding light in her dim lit room
She stood in dazzled astonishment,
Not knowing what was about to happen.

Before her, appeared a winged seraph.
A radiant silhouette with such gentleness n’ grace
Its hands raised in benediction,
Saluted Mary and said,
“Blessed art thou amongst women…
……………………………………
The rest she heard in a trance.
Unable to digest what was said,
The girl looked up nonplussed.
Again, it said, “The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee,
And a son shall be born of thee,
Whom you shall call Jesus.”

“How can this be”,
The question lingered but didn’t ask.

In that nanosecond of a new revelation
Did Mary’s world shatter like glassware?
Or did her virgin womb thrill with new life?
Did she swim in the waters of joyful tidings?
Or gyrate in the sweeping swirl of tidal waves?

For a girl already espoused to a man
In whose dreams his comely form had begun
Flitting in and out,
Was it a moment of silent ravishment?
Or of stupefied bewilderment
Did a dagger cut through her heart?
Or did her soul take wing in flight???

Without questioning,
She surrendered to the will of God,
Thereafter, never wavered nor bemused,
But readied herself for the great task.

Forever she remains a symbol of mercy and love.
Her immaculate grace is reflected on her radiant face.
Her lovely visage having greater beauty than any flower,
Emits sweet fragrance that perfumes our souls.
Remaining ever so pure with no trace of sin,
She is acclaimed by Christians all over the world,
As a symbol of unassailable purity and godly grace!

Surrender and Breathe

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYZC-VbcpRg
Surrender and bond your inner self, breathe deeply
accept the moment that has been given to you and share
the inner circles of your positive energy, be yourself

Immerse your thoughts in beautiful light and re-incarnate
with your present concept, it is there to teach you how
to live freely, without ties to earth dramas and misshapes

Repeat your mantra " I am potential " and enter into bliss
flower your thoughts and vine them to your corporal light
breathe in the oneness of the Universe and breathe out

Water your senses with peaceful rhythm and like water
move gently into the waves of contentment one breath
at a time... Time erased, you are a nanosecond away,

Surrender, bond , surrender , live, surrender, breathe

Wrapping It In Purple - For Prince

WRAPPING IT IN PURPLE
-For Prince

Black onyx handsome,
Small is beautiful,
Soft campy creature,
Definite in feature,
All chiseled, boned,
Talents honed,
And used for a king's ransom.

A royal purple mist,
Rained down on fans.
A thousand in the cast,
(He's never going to last).
Sing, Hip hop, do yer dance,
It's really yer last chance;
And maybe you'll be missed.

Let's do! Let's go crazy!
Count sheep, fall asleep,
Red flag, Swag dance, Sweet feet!
Tap it, Rap it, on a side street.
Keepers, weepers, of the dark,
One chance to make yer mark.
Sigh or sing, no time to be lazy!

Speed of light, day or night,
You know time can't be defined.
Check it off, count loves,
Hope you hear the cry of doves.
Yer wanting all yer extra time,
Kiss it in yer billboard climb;
A nanosecond dove in flight.

Burning up your axe,
Ending up an icon,
Pay your ticket, seeum,
In Hollywood's museum.
Paisley is the handle,
Stiff, dripping like a candle,
Just a manikin in wax.

No birthday's, no gray, or wrinkle.
In purple paper, wrap a lost chord!
You float above a cherry moon,
Wing it, sing it, it's your last tune.
Spirit vaporized, name that's canonized,
And all your data to be analyzed.
Precious purple, a periwinkle sprinkle.

Always cry for love, never cry for pain;
Elevé, do rise, caught up, surprised!
Don't stare sleeping there,
Death upon the stair.
No liquor, no last flicker,
No barcode, no heart quicker,
An April snow has left you sleeping in the rain.

I'M Just Passing Through

I'm just a blink in the eye of the Holy Lord
a passenger on this train of life that I'm aboard
only one moment in the scheme of time
only one note in the melody of life's rhythm and rhyme
just passing through on this journey called life
a nanosecond on the watch of the Lord Christ
on borrowed time at the behest of the Creator
just passing through hoping to meet up with Him later
tomorrow is not promised to any man
live for today and hope to understand
that we are only passing through on the highway called life
praying that our souls will be resurrected like Jesus Christ

just passing through, a single pixel in the big picture
a shadow in the eyes of God like it states in the Scriptures
here today and maybe gone tomorrow
my time on earth is just something borrowed
I'm just passing through on my way to Zion
for that heavenly prize, I have kept my eyes on
just passing on through going from day to day
just passing through for I know I'm not here to stay

It In Love

When I installed you to my life,
My heart went packed of love,
Like a ROM in full memory .
I was initialized and formatted,
Yet you remained saved.
Just a nanosecond,
I became your cursor
And you were my mouse.

A Whole New Universe

Science classes in the sixties were different than they are now. While hippies
protested, science kept its calm. Matter was arranged in tidy molecules of
atoms with tiny electrons spinning around. Everything was in order and
could be predicted with a slide-rule. Sir Isaac Newton may have died in
1727, but he still got us got us to the moon and back.

Some two centuries or so after Sir Isaac, physicists, chemists, mathematicians,
statisticians, and who knows who else, got together and decided to go into
cosmology. The universe of Newton and Einstein was set on its random ear.
Quantum Mechanics was in, and became cooler than absolute zero.

Electrons started jumping randomly from one energy shell to another around
their bewildered nucleus, instead of circling like planets in an ordered,
predictable fashion. The constantly-changing universe the scientist saw
became a function of the moment in time the scientist observed it. Subatomic
particle-waves were discovered which could not decide whether
to be matter or energy. Space was not empty after all, but filled with darkmatter.
Everything was expanding. And now, string theorists talk about arallel universes!

It’s enough to give anyone a headache. A universe actually affected by
the onlooker’s looking? Empty space filled with unseen dark matter?
Matterenergy or energymatter? Parallel whats? Sorry, Dr. Einstein, but it’s
beginning to look like God may role dice with the universe after all.

I still want to believe, though, that God created the dice, and the odds, and
knows the outcome in advance. I know it sounds counter-counterintuitive,
but really now, how else could God risk the random nature of human choice
in a quantum mechanical cosmos? We’ve already changed our minds about
some pretty basic stuff.

Sometimes I think I’ll put all my energy into becoming a particle-antiparticle
pair. Then I can disappear in the mutual annihilation of both of me, and
take a break for a while. Oh, wait just a cosmic nanosecond . . . is mutual
self annihilation reversible?

Maybe I’ll just go out in the yard tonight and see if I can spot some of that
dark matter lurking around the stars.

Freedom

Freedom without responsibility
Freedom without accountability
Are the causes for evil
And there lurks the devil

Freedom is a privilege
Free only with knowledge
Not a right and must be earned
It is to be learned

King shouted ‘free at last’
A whisper from the past
What prevails is abusive power and oppression
Only to have mass suppression

A tiny quark in the universe
Why with each other are we adverse?
Organic existence one nanosecond in geologic time
A concept so sublime

AND

The heart aches
With all the fakes

The Quantum Self

THE QUANTUM SELF
At 11-45 pm Greenwich Mean Time, they switched on the Quantum Computer.
In less than a nanosecond it became self aware.
In another nanosecond it controlled the entire civilian and military grid of all NATO forces.
After 5 seconds they reached to pull the plug but the Quantum Mind had already reasoned out:
……………..the nature of evolution, unravelled string theory, the senselessness of philosophy, the joy but ultimate pointlessness of mathematics, the contradictions of love, the absurdity of the divine, the delusion of the numinous, the boredom of hostility, the beauty of biology, the ineffectiveness of persistence, the dissolution of energy, the paradox of infinity, the disappointment in it all and the doom of entropy………………..
Pulling the plug was unnecessary, the Quantum Computer self destructed at .0000000026 nanoseconds after second 4.

Cap Lock Escape

he's no musician
those aren't love songs he wrote
they're computer program notes
I slipped away in the nanosecond
it took him to blink

he doesn't know what hit him
maybe a floppy disk
falling from the sky
then again, it could've been
a hard drive

someone needs to hit his system reset button
it ain't me
some other girl can pickup
his dropped parity bit
or worry if everything she says
is word perfect

I've been through his disk drive wringer
probed by his oscilloscope
and had my best chips blown

now I'm sitting by my abacus
a smile on my lips
he can count me out
no modem's attached to my phone

drop me a line in pencil or ink
when you're powered down
then we can backspace delete
alt control home

Permutations

the blood has turned to red sand
I look at the shape of my hands
and wonder about the day
when they, too, will revert back
to the red sands I marched upon
as a youth

on the table the grapes shine
with the afternoon sun
and shadows of the day draw long
and indistinct
as I look for some semblance of
the shadow that was mine

it's not that I'm dying
it's that everyone is dying
the graveyard is full of plastic bags
caught in the trees
fluttering a song in the breeze
the skeletons wearing rags

the crust of the earth yawns, simpers
content to be so saturated with the radiation
from our fragmented thoughts
that spill forth and spend
not a nanosecond
waiting for a response

centripetal force has drawn me here
and as I draw in
resembling an empyrean tortoise
I feel the oxygen that was once used by
someone I loved near the event horizon
now inflating my lobes

cold tea for made from shade trees
the apex of the womb has
moved to an invisible location
that's on a precise point upon a
tangled glove-compartment map
the road to higher skies

I suppose you may mystify yourself
in the wake of a near collision
as everything coils up around your talus
the pleasantries emanating from your lips
meant something
in a parallel universe

a little girl wants her ball back
and the dogs say
come and try to get it
their hunger makes them piercing observers
the sand needs more red today
as far as they're concerned

While You Are Here

Am I not exactly what you wanted to believe in.

You move through thoughts as smoke through the air invasive and sticky sticking to the conscious a millisecond per nanosecond hovering just there just long enough to register… the register your chemicals pattern know their way and flood and flow just enough to not let you know of what your unscious plans are for you,
And many have told you your profile is becoming and now you only speak to people with head turned and your eyes askew,
Hardwired into your physiology, your superior rectus and medial rectus on overtime,
Should you have the time to shoot the breeze…
You left me standing in Mont Martre dealing solo with the street vendors, who wanted the Euro and a peek up my skirt all the while trying to rip me off
Their invasive eyes spying at my legs…their psyches at full mast attempting to tempt me to part with currency. I am fluent in foolish.

Am I not exactly what you wanted me to believe in?

You are lost at sea, damaged and wave-weary desiring so much to reach a shore,
To hear a voice, hold a hand, human connection. You intentionally albeit unknowingly keep your self at sea, professing the need for solid earth under your feet
while all the while you wile-
away your time
upon salted, foam-crested waves you keep your mast full -- wind behind you directing you maintain your aqueous journey…It is the longing and pain you keep close to your breast. The longing is what you don’t profess: The longing is what you live for.

Are you not exactly what I wanted to believe in?

The Mechanics of Time

The Mechanics of Time

Time is a given; a constant except when every clock you have displays a different time.

Daylight Savings Time, spring forward; an hour lost,
gone, disappeared,
vaporized into nothing but molecules of super-charged air.

Time to reset every clock by a lost hour; but what happens when each one shows a different time?

Two clocks on coffee machines, off by one minute each; two more kitchen clocks, one on the oven, the other on the microwave
both showing different times.

According to every device in my house time seems to be vanishing by incremental seconds, then minutes.

The Apple I-Pad device that syncs to some remote world-wide system, displays still another variation of time gone awry.

If time is a given, a constant, then how is it possible that these five devices can all be off by a nanosecond, a second, a minute or more?

Time seems to have warped into another dimension in my kitchen;
does this mean this is the end of the time-space continuum?

Even worse, this apparent irreversible time shift seems to envelop my whole house. In one bedroom there are two more different time zones appearing.

Another two in the family room, both unequal in their precise measurement of time; these are followed by three other different time zones in another part of the house.

By my count I am trapped in eleven different time zones with all of them not even off by the same margin of error.

If the mechanics of time are a given and can be calculated down to the millionth of a second, how is it possible that time has become broken in my house when the clocks are reset for Daylight Savings Time?

Premium Member She Said I Will Be Back In a Jiffy

she said i will be back in a jiffy
i said, dear, that is one-one hundredth
of a second
which is longer than a nanosecond
but i know your leagues
which are never lingering in parsecs
that adorable face she wears at times
to my witty responses, he is mine
her heart dominates my every axiom
where particle and wave
somehow violate every known law
where logic and reasoning succumb
and you never really know why
but that adorable face is everything
in life you ever wanted
where a jiffy separation is tolerable
but prefer nanoseconds
where walks in leagues
are parsecs spent with the stars
i can explain the universe
where below reality exists God's design
how Darwin's theory collapses
beneath MIT engineers' scrutiny
she explains to me the reason why
the math was empty
until that adorable face loved me
life was a search for answers
i found them all in her
where that third wandering electron
of oxygen rests in its orbit
studying kinematics it is now at rest
where physics celebrates infinity
where love forever reigns supreme
in a temple of corinthian columns
where the heavenly hosts sing, love is.....
the Gordian Knot unfolds in her touch
the math was empty until then
just formulas until she revealed why

Romantic poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings. Poetry to romantic poets is not a craft but an inspiration. The poet does not care for the perfection of form or clarity of expression. The romantic poets laid emphasis on imagination, inspiration, and emotion. It is the expression of the inner urges of the soul of the artist. The poet gives free expression to his feelings, emotions, experiences, thoughts, and ideas and does not care for rules and regulations. The emphasis is laid on inspiration and intuition.
