Best Mottle Poems

Colorless, Naked and Numb
this cooler air seems to mottle the trees
spinning leaves like my thoughts in winded dance
befalling trails of tears on crimson breeze
as they fall grounded beneath the oak's stance

i hear the crumble of death beneath me
as i shiver within its strident gasp
chaotic roots reach out beneath...

Butterfly Memories 1
Memories mottle my butterfly’s wings
Shimmering and cute they are from my past
And a new song the bard in me now sings
On two sweet ones from the database vast.

“ Chitra Salabh” is the word in my tongue
For this insect so loved by old and...

Premium Member My Dearest Friends
The Friends I hold so dear, are the friends so far away
I've never seen so clear, then on this Dismal day
When life gets in a mottle, and reality's sublime
I reach out to those Friends
Those dearest friends of mine

I sometimes feel a presence , of a...

My Life
1.Onboard

Warming up, the weather
In middle spring
Grass dancing  and larks  singing
...
Lilacs white, purple and  mottle
are walking on road

2. Going Home

Road is really long
Coach moves too slow
The homing heart feels like
either a flying goose
or a flying arrow

3. Fly a kite

My busy shadows chained
Langfang ,Baoding and Beijing
up into a triangle
God saw  and said :
That looked  like a kite
The rope was the
long thinking of
Held  in Mr Sydney's hand

Note: My home is in Sydney while I am working in three cities in northern China...

Skin Care
She doesn't like her jowls and wattle;
her wrinkles, crinkles and her mottle.
She rubs in a lotion
then applies a potion;
if a little won't, maybe a lot'll....

Premium Member Before You
My light was dark and cold
til you came in the door,
then time fell through the floor.
To you my soul I've sold,
The price I'll pay, untold.
My heart you'll soon restore.

Til then my hope so true
is our similitude.
As life we mottle through,
I'll share myself with you
in life's...

Sea Turtle
Subtle beak peeks, blowing through a reef’s ostentatiousness
Emerging from dark impervious depths, the need to breathe
Adept adaptation caught between the blues and greens of aqua

Turtle spins in shelly quagmire where the sea and land consort
Ungainly gravity adheres, sands rasp of birth or death juju
Raking...

Sunset Sunrise
The sun a brushstroke
In the distance
A streak of crimson
'neath the dark

A palette pale
Of Autumn pastel…
The horizon only
A morbid mark

Purple clouds
Weigh down the sun
Brilliant lit below
Yet dark as ink atop

Cloudbanks press
The glow to none…
And cause the light
To dim…then stop

Violet hues
Mottle the sky
And daylight bruised
Bids...

The Coffee Mug
The Coffee Mug

Conspicuous trails
Of coffee gone dry on mug
Hot and fresh no more
Cling like those few memories
That mottle life's ceramic !

Premium Member Beneath a Patchwork Sky
Soar over black earth birds won’t dare,
But flocks of bullets streak the air.
When rains on spring horizons loom,
Wreaths of shrapnel shall be in bloom.
Where I’m going, gods shall despair.

Wraiths of smoke will usurp the sky,
Mottle light where clouds nestled high,
Clods feud-flung into vaulting flights,
Soil memories...

Osama Docudrama
Itinerant mercenary shrouded with penitent robe
Shining beacon for terrorists around the globe
Hermetic curmudgeon; gun-toting xenophobe
Zealous provacateur who for ardent jihadists did probe

Material wealth a means; establishing a caliphate the end
Seeking Arab-royalty's, sovereign-sheikdoms to rend
Scourge of terror to blight all that western values defend
Sharia law to...

Orang Ulu
Orang Ulu
Pronounced Uloo = Collective name for the
up-river people of Sarawak

Orang Ulu,
loping through mottle-green light of the jungle-track,
lighter than dawn-mist, nimble as wild-cat.
Hunt-hounds around-him are bounding and
wailing a death-hymn or baying for
deer-spoor or fat-ox or wild-boar.

Ulu-agape at the edge of a clearing,
proud ebony, ironwood...

Raspberry Merlot
I’ll never forget that first drink I had,
sweet Raspberry Merlot with my alcoholic dad-
He gave it to me with such ease,
my innocence died turning into disease.
I’ll never forget that first drink...

Dawn
Rays of light mottle an atmospheric canvas
Varnished with a saddened hue of blue
One requires the other

Alarm clocks chime the birth
Vocalized stretches alert commencement

Rising spines challenge each mind
to acknowledge gratitude
Whether expressed or not

Fate marks an autographed message
which lays the foundation for maturity

And growth...blossoms

A breeze that...

Buzzing For It's Life
It ducks and dives
bouncing through the air
buzzing for it's life
free without care;
now disappeared a silence,
can't see it anywhere
a mass of confusion
It could be over there?

As elusive as it is scheming,
the lord of all flies,
Who leaves me screaming,
"Why are you so wise?!"
Incognito, always in disguise
It' colour...
