Best Mercy Poems
Words are bound in chains
the true creative spirit
In the ruins of the lost
pathetic struggle
Where will you stand the last night
His mercy, you overlook
See how great love is
in the spite of our mistakes
Difficult to understand
Father "in heaven"
His love is unwavering
Adam and Eve were tempted
Faith can move mountains
With holy awe, never doubt
Heaven and eternity
Walk the golden stairs,
and believe in God's promise
Love is absolute patience
Anger and hatred
We should love - by heart and soul
Out of love comes the power
The message of death
Love your brother and sister
Earth's children - let's live in peace

Engaging in what I think is right,
in a lonely world of sorrow and pain,
often leads to a deadly bloody fight,
when the dust settles there is no gain.
Precious moments of lingering thoughts,
hearts become wrapped in heaven's love,
true treasures that can never be bought,
a beautiful gift from the Savior above.
To light a world, beneath the sky of blue,
courage and peace spilled upon the ground,
the essence of Jesus I know, ever so true,.

Do not let the ray of his meek sun fa me shines alone So
Seek O, the favor of the Creator on his templed throne, eke
Favors of mercy Lattitudes of grace; lo the patient Savior’s
Heart pines through tedious days for us, rich joys to impart.
Do seek tenaciously lakes solacing familiar pains. Meander
In his goodness, his ray of peace shines for you. Flee the sin
Shackling us to self-delusions of pride. A doe may blunder
Before the hunter’s scope, but mercy renders a shift of wind
Raining reason not inborn, meaning for praise fore fallacious
Certainty of some evil heart. No weapon formed against you
Shall prosper. Lark the sky with praise, team hearts O to do
His will and sing: Doh te la so fa me ra doh, O Lord I am all
Prepared thy will know; through my night let bright rays fall.
Here me call when I groan: do ra me fa so la te do ... let me
Feel thy lattitudes of grace bringing me in embrace on my knee.
If you are irritated by every rub,
how will your mirror be polished?
Rumi
When burdens lead to floods of tears,
I know you're near in all my fears.
When I'm lost in a silent place,
I'll find mercy in your sweet grace.
You heal me in times of lament,
so for all my sins, I repent.
When anxious doubts begin to chase,
I'll find mercy in your sweet grace.
In your wonders I'm truly blessed,
but know in life I'm just a guest.
When I'm climbing heaven's staircase,
I'll find mercy in your sweet grace.
When burdens lead to floods of tears
I'll find mercy in your sweet grace.
Not friend of man or beast, or kind to any soul,
not even their own.
Perhaps compassion deserted them, along with reason
leaving not even an even-tongue..
in a dangerous clouded head.
Or maybe found under a curse from a long ago wrong.,
cast at birth or last dawn' cropping season, ill thoughts
impure to many.
Maniacal in gaze. Sees.. but doesn't see,
no feeling left..
if ever there was any.
When encountering something perceived to be weaker,
don't respond the way most would.
As I write this, feel so sorry..
for all smaller creatures in wrenching hands..
crushed without a twitch of remorse.
Talk in whispers, don't wake their ire..
you can't outrun or outlast them..
not in words, or mannerisms, no chance.
Don't cross them, or fall hard in love..
they're already jealous., quick to anger,
always seething, like a kettle ready to boil.
One with nothing left to lose.
You are a player in an unfamiliar game..
tilted off balance of normal,
just a prize for them, all the same.
It's easier to be anyone else than the others.
Standing out in a cold dark night looking..
at the warmth that true companionship brings.
Life's best to live, and to give, though sure and not sure,
were it your neck so close to break.
Be the soul of leniency and mercy.,
send prayers, show kindness, and in kindness judge..
if you must.
Though never invest, or feel too sorry..,
nor trust what you hold dear..,
and never turn your back on
the others.
~~~~~~~~ Dedicated to Stephen King ~~~~~~~~
What was it that you showed me,
Within my heart and soul?
Creator, and redeemer,
What is to be my goal?
He hath shewed thee,
O man, what is good;
and what the Lord
requires of thee,
but to do justly,
and to love mercy,
and to walk humbly
with thy God
Micah 6:8
My name is Miriam, the prophetess
I have spent my whole lifetime in slavery
Moses my brother was saved from the river
and grew up in the palace of Pharaoh the king.
But now I see that God was preparing him
to set the slaves of Israel free
today the Lord has thrown the foe’s horses and riders into the sea.
So I praise God for unmerited favor
and I thank him for his undeserved grace
and I rejoice that his goodness and mercy
shall follow me all of my days
My name is Mephibosheth,
I live in the palace of royalty;
every meal I eat is a banquet, and every day I say ‘how can this be?’
I bring nothing to the table but crutches
and a sinful and bloody family line,
my father’s father tried to kill the anointed one,
and I’m living on borrowed time.
So I praise God for unmerited favor
and I thank him for his undeserved grace
and I rejoice that his goodness and mercy
shall follow me all of my days
My name is Mary Magdalene,
I confess I have walked down the sinners’ path
I have known the curse of man’s judgment
and I have known the fear of God’s wrath.
Until I met this Jesus the Nazarene
only he could see past my sin
he showed me he was the way to forgiveness
he purified me from within.
So I praise God for unmerited favor
and I thank him for his undeserved grace
and I rejoice that his goodness and mercy
shall follow me all of my days.
O’ Angel of mercy
Wait
Do not take her away yet
Tarry a while
Wait a while
Her body is still warm
Her soul still lingering
I have to say
A million things
I have to show her
A million dreams
O’ Angel of mercy
Stay a while
Wait a while
She has yet to hug me
She has yet to love me
Her hand on my head
Her breath on my cheek
O’ Angel of mercy
Tarry a while
Wait a while
My heart cries
For her warmth
My life cries
For her strength
O’ Angel of mercy
Stay a while
Wait a while
Her immense love
Which gathered
Me to her
Is yet to be felt
O’ Angel of mercy
Tarry a while
Wait a while
Give me a chance
O’ Angel of mercy
Give me a chance.
With a heavy heart I embrace
Willingness to come forth efface
All my many unspoken crimes
In the name of our Jesus Christ.
Beneath the breath of my still tongue
They stay struggling to flit among
Memories of stained sinful deeds.
In the name of our Jesus Christ.
To completely wholeheartedly
Accept your judgment blessedly
For your most infinite mercy
In the name of our Jesus Christ.
With a blithesome bosom rising
Of God's anointing sight I sing
Of place of shelter from the storm.
In the name of our Jesus Christ.
Is this then all there is now, only me
And all there is now left for me to do
Cry ‘mercy’ to the unforgiving sea
And bury all the love I had for you
Beneath the sorry roses in the shade
Of yew trees, in the graveyard, by the wall
Let tenderness and fondest feelings fade
Until the day there is no you at all
Within my mirror, only empty sky
And tumbleweed across the arid ground
No answer to the question of my cry
Just silence; oh my love, in you I found
A heat too sweet and gentle to forget
Have mercy on me, love, don’t leave me yet
O give thanks unto the Lord of lords.
O give thanks unto the God of gods.
For He alone does great wonders.
In the clouds His divine truth thunders.
Heaven and earth He doth display.
He made the sun to rule by day.
He remembers us in our low estate,
And His power saves us from our fate.
To all flesh He gives plenty food—
O give thanks unto God for He is good.
Give thanks unto God for His compassion—
Thanks for mercy only He can fashion.
O thank God for all that He does,
And for all He is and for all He was.
Angels blessed caress divinity embrace forever Gods heart
in joy kindness love mercy needing omniscient point
quiet reflection soulful triumph understood victory
worthy xenagogue yahweh zealous.
The curse, the lethargy,
conceived out of wedlock Dawn and Day,
the mother-in-law of the race of the Ogres,
the tub filled with toads, vipers and snakes,
the cohabitant who always stays out -
here's a partial list of the problems
that await the true princesses,
whereas a dreamless sleep is a soteriological ideal of any Buddhist.
Bent over the beautiful princess,
I feel a pang of mercy,
and, rising from my knees, get out of here -
by little Mopsey, the Princess's spaniel, which is lying on the bed,
by the hypothetical fire upon the hearth,
by the doormen in whose cups wine turned into mold long ago
and beyond,
through the wayless wood of existence,
which is not a problem for my ladylove anymore.
As Charles Perrault rightly stated:
“Thorns part before a royal blood only”.
AT THE MERCY SEAT OF GOD
THERE ARE TIME IN MY LIFE I FELT DISTRESS
AND MY BURDENS,JUST TO HARD TO BARE,
BUT I FOUND A REFUGE FROM ALL THE STORMS
WHEN I WENT TO MY LORD IN PRAYER.
AT THE MERCY SEAT OF JESUS,SOMETIMES ALONE
IT WAS THERE MY TEARS WOULD FLOW,
WHEN I CRIED MY HEART OUT TO JESUS CHRIST
AT TIMES MY HEART WAS VERY LOW.
I FELT SO VERY CLOSE TO HEAVEN DOORS
I COULD HEAR THE ANGELS SING,
AT THE MERCY SEAT OF MY SWEET JESUS
MY SORROWS I WOULD BRING.
MY TEARS WOULD FLOW LIKE RAINDROPS
THAT DROPPED UPON THE GROUND.
MY HEART WOULD BE SO HEAVY AT TIMES
I THOUGHT IN MY TEARS I WILL DROWN.
BUT GOD REACHED DOWN FROM HEAVEN
AND HE SAW ME KNEELING THERE,
HE SAID MY CHILD RISE GO FORTH
FOR I HAVE HEARD YOUR EVERY PRAYER.
PLEASE TRUST ME AS I DO MY WILL
SEEK AND YOU SHALL FIND,
ME ALWAYS AT THE MERCY SEAT
COME WHILE THERE IS STILL TIME
