He Has Shown Me

What was it that you showed me, Within my heart and soul? Creator, and redeemer, What is to be my goal? He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what the Lord requires of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God Micah 6:8

I heard this Bible verse way back in the late 1970's sung by the Maranatha singers, and I loved it. I love the scripture songs that so naturally play in my mind but affect my heart in a positive way. This scripture came to my mind as I was feeling blue, it is such an answer to the perplexities of this life. If everyone was able to do good to each other, do justly, love mercy and be humble, this world would be such a happier place. I feel hope and love in verses such as this one. Hope you're having a good day sweet friend! <3

God's requirements summed up in this scripture and just that one scripture is hard to handle and only with the Holy Spirit can we do it and even then, we have to ask God's forgiveness and start over the next day. I enjoyed reading it. Thank you for your visit to my page. Sara

Thank you Sara, that is true, we need the power of the Holy Spirit to help us in all we do. We all fall short of the glory of God, and that is why we need a savior, and He saves us, forgives us of our short comings, and helps us to walk in the light. His mercies are new every morning! I love visiting your poems. You are an encouragement to me <3
