Best Magnates Poems

Premium Member A Lesson Missed From School

That opposites attract would seem the rule.
In chemistry and physics it is found.
And samples of this principle abound
from magnates to the smallest molecule;
from X to Y in our genetic pool!
In courtship too this law proves rather sound
albeit that some exceptions can confound,
but I, for one, missed something from my school.

Past meeting, polar minds need intersection-
acceptance, awe, same goals desired to seek.
Else how can there be mutual affection
if two cannot match up? Love can be bleak!
Where’s a plain equation? Now dejection
has taken hold of me. I scale no peak!

Premium Member If I Were An Elephant

Don't cover me with a mantle of glitter
For a circus parade that flaunts
A pretentious kaleidoscopic dream,
Where I am tricked to enchant an audience
Paying hard-earned bills while I roll on a tyke--

Or use my ivory as decor for varnished tables,
Chests and even antique inlays on narra beds:
And my furry skin you peel, turn into
Stilettos, even haute- couture labels designed
Only for those vain magnates...how impertinent!

I am the spirit of the wild forest,
The towering giant of peace on a roam
Where my ears listen to children's fables
As they mount on my back through a landscape
Bathed in night's purple glow... a mystique
Setting a ride into a dazzled starlight,
While we strut away, unmindful of how
dense mankind can be in this journey

Soothed by fresh murmuring of a breeze...
If I were an elephant, let me rock, indulge
On a sacred place made innocent
By the gods who created playful, grassy trails.

Once Warrior Fifteen from down under
Trained so hard Hakka to outclap thunder
	Scared s..t off rivals
	To reach the Finals
At Twitch-in-Ham where Prince roared like Pauper

Anthems sweet lulled the cheery spectator
World hushed to watch Black Hakka Warrior
Earth shook hearts thumped shrieked gulls
	Petrified spell-bound rivals
Warrior lungs burst Cup won by neither

Big-money football magnates cheered together
At last World will look up to footballer
	American rivals
	Or Pelé-fan Bra-zil’s
Hakka now sole weapon of US soldier

Our prez is now Donald J Trump
Who has promised to clean out the sump
      Well he's certainly no wussy
      When groping a pussy
What more to expect from a gump?

In charge of the Vice, Michael Pence
Said some things that embrace little sense,
       "Global warming's a myth"
       But's now taking the fifth
In attempting to straddle the fence

We all recall general Flynn
Put in charge of security spin
      A trained atomiser
      No more Trump's advisor -
His deal with the devil's his sin

The billionaire Betsy Devos
Making plans for a school albatross
      Hating free education
      Backs private castration
And kids will be bearing her Cross.

The Congress approved Jeff B. Sessions
Ignoring his racist obsessions
      He seemingly cares
      More for foreign affairs
While forgiving Klan's toxic transgressions.

Chief strategist Stephen K. Bannon
Develops the Great Again Canon:
      The Goldman Sachs Bankster
      Turned yellow rag gangster
Flings crap from the New Order cannon

Says EPA ruler Scott Pruitt
"Instead of dry facts, we intuit..."
      (His work as denier
      Keeps profits much higher)
"... If everything dies, well, just screw it"

The war whoops of Mad Doggy Mattis
Awaken the death apparatus
      With boundless expense
      For a doomsday defence -
Armageddon administered gratis

The magnates no longer need lobby
Or fight regulations thought snobby -
       Now set in the saddle
      They're herding the cattle
And pulling the strings as a hobby

Now the Don can start wielding the axes
Truncating the tariffs and taxes
      The Mafia boss
      Is dismissing the dross
And poverty's pain as it waxes

I Swear

Don't ask your heart,
Don't blame it,
Don't chastise your heart,
Don't scorch it,
Make yourself assured
You grasped a true love,
That would never short,
Because I made it as hard love.

I will fill each hole of your heart
To have it eternally to my heart
I swear to my vains and pains,
I will gain the rains of love
Like grains to my brains.
The world was made for love
In animals we have doves
They love themselves without rivalry
That's why they live gourdly.
Don't ask a gourmet about Garri

I swear by the moon and the stars
That live in your steeped heart.
I swear by the love that hankers
To instil in your heart,
I swear by the wisp grins
Of your soft swathed chins
That were dabbed by my lips
I will love your lilac lips.

I will miss your smile,
You are always as my smile.
I will never forget your face,
You are always my pace,
No girl is so worthy in my space,
You are a buttress of my smile
My heart stayed as a wimp
In your love; it can't swim
Your blood is my heart's pool
Your love is much full

I swear by your breathes
That are under my heart's beneath
I swear by your heart's blood
That sprints like a heavy flood
I swear by your eye lashes
That are so hot like high school's lashes
I swear by your trachea's sighs
That allows sweet sighs
To overflow as my heart's sighs,
I will love thee as mine,
Because you're always in my mind.

Sweet love never dies
Sweet love always shines
Sweet love is always my tea
You're a sugar in my tea
By which it tastes thee

Your fragrance fills the atmosphere,
Your sweats dissolve the hydrosphere
Your skin that sways fluently
And the muscles that internally
Hoarded around your bones,
And your bloods within your bones,
I will never forget your love.

It is a long and narrow poem
That goes with touching tones
Your message is a poem
That chirps a melodious tones
Your steps always sound
In my heart's lounge
I will be triumphing your name
I will be caring your name
I will be in your name's fame
Your name will be a game
That I will be hunting as a game
You are frames that frame
My body like a door frame

Your heart will be a legitimate
I'll never be something intimidate
Only those that are magnates
In love will be magnates
That will purchase your heart's magnets
I have a good chiaroscuro
That will let me get a Goro.

Whaffor Bertie

Premium Member The Powers We Never See

The powers that be, undefined, ruthless, opaque authority
Shapeless, bodiless, upstanding folk, coercing the majority
Overseeing applications, supplications, ensuring conformity
Specialists in quagmires, minefields, esoteric bureaucracy.

The powers that be, model citizens, high ranking royalty
Peerless above the law, protected from a droned society
Scratching each other’s back, freeloaders, freemasonry
Funny hand shakes, codes, wink wink nudge nudge faculty.

The powers that be, puppet masters, answering to nobody
Church going pagans, planted within god fearing laities
Penchants for young hookers, high class swinging orgies
Masters of the universe, demigods, self serving deities.

The powers that be, off the radar, shirking accountability
Magnates, judges, ministers, businessmen, your attorneys
The A listed, elite, endemic, prevalent, shrouded in mystery
Wrong side of these people, you’ll disappear no conspiracy

The powers that be, yet another victim, where’s Khashoggi,
Are his killers really in prison, more likely given new identity
Some ask too many questions, Maltese journalist Daphne,
Blown up in a car, getting too close, unsettling the fraternity

The powers that be, its not possible I’m losing it completely
Because I believe a certain ilk, walk amongst us with impunity
Live behind walled estates, big donations for political parties
In return, yes sir three bags full sir, here’s to your anonymity.

Mother-Of-Pearl Tm

Its trademark shows what, it once used to sell,
Now it extracts, liquid gold from a well.
Starting with gifts for a girl,
    Adorned with mother-of-pearl.
That gave the oil magnates, the name of Shell.

Cornucopia

In a lavish land of bountiful luxury
designer clothes lace their debonair
supersonic dreams celebrate wealth
magnates in mansions and fancy cars
wine cellars and buffet, silk ties in style
usurped soul in vault, slave to the dime
booming business in stocks and bonds
fortune and fame, luck of golden diadem.
abundant worries, like poor and penniless
spectacular elite, in an ocean of emptiness
It's more and more money, in a cornucopia
million dollar smiles, hiding plentiful phobia.
