Best Love Inspiration Poems
There is silence in turmoil… joy in the midst of pain
Sweetness in the bitter… music in the rain
There is light in darkness… illuminated faith shines
Hues of colorful sighs… insights into the signs
There is beauty in unsightliness… kindness in the lost hope
Gentle warmth in a chill… that leaves a way to cope
There is laughter in the sorrow… mirth in the grim
Even though there is mourning… that leaves the eye dim
There is a whisper of inspiration… soothing away the cry
Allowing a tear to pierce the heart… mute the brightest sky
There is grace in the loathing… even hatred brings insight
Precious moments of understanding… can bring pure delight
There is goodness in the shame… for it means a heart is contrite
No dishonor in remorse… even disgrace is brighter in the moonlight
There is warmth in the winter… even though ice chills the bones
Fires breathe tenderness… to those who won’t throw stones
There is caring in the selfish… when they mend their greed
Welcoming the attention… of those who are selfless indeed
There is love in the callous… even a hard heart can be thawed
When there is the compassion… to give mercy we should applaud

You are the rich color in my cheeks
The brilliance in my ecstatic smile
The elation in my expression of joy
The sincerity in my sweetest hope
You are the glory that sighs when I sing
A song of love that lives deep within
Where you have colored my world
In hues of inspirational truths
You are the balance of black and white
The realization that God is so alive
The gentle grasp of pleasure that ignites
The purest peace filling up my insides
You are the rousing splendor that excites
Beckoning me with so much insight
Welcoming my heart to know your truth
And dance with a jubilant fire that burns for you
You are the whisper of encouraging prose
The anchor that holds me through every storm
The imagination that keeps me inspired with verse
The creativity that winds its way through my spirit
You are the gentle touch that embraces my faith
A sensitivity that brings me friendship and elation
Reflections of promise to bring serenity and peace
Echoes of hope that soothe my weary anxiety
You are the one who makes my world complete
With you, I know God answers prayers for those
Who simply believe – He brings two together
Completing their search for that miracle that is
A union of souls – two hearts becoming one!

A friend reveals their true heart when you are feeling blue.
Their compassion cheers your spirit as they know the 'real' you.
They listen to you vent your anger when it consumes your day
To commiserate and reach out in a non-judgmental way.
A friend also is a treasure because your joy they love to share.
They help you keep your sanity when chaos you must bear.
Never forgetting your birthday or when holidays roll 'round.
You trust them to keep your secrets for they are honor bound.
A special poet friend helped teach me how to write in form
Her talent shines unwavering in words high above the norm.
Indeed she is a teacher, and English grammar her expertise.
She knows the earth, the seas, and skies beyond the Pleiades.

Like the silence that screams, cursing solitude
Whispers of faith sing patiently with prayers
Breathed in the light, filled with tender gratitude
Painting heaven in lilac hues of soft tears
Lighting paths of hope with parrots of belief
Opening doors to joys of the heart who cares
Embracing feelings who have known so much grief
Breaking through the night with a brilliant delight
Dancing across the soul with tender relief
Rhythm of vibrant dreams caress gentle insights
Singing in cadence with lively notes, verses
Touching the heart with celebrations so bright
Like the quiet that shrieks in soundless curses
True gratefulness shines in heart universes

Merry Christmas hail
mailed to every heart we love
gentle embrace sent
joy to the whole world
our king brings love, hope and peace
a sense of pure grace
on this silent night
His love shone so strong and bright
filled hearts with real life
the wise men came to
see the light of the world, Him
who would be the salt
hope filled the dark night
with inspiration - insight
feelings that bring peace
Know that I am filled with light
Reflecting off of your heart, your soul
Your imagination and inspiration
Your kindness, hope and more…
Your glow of gladness soothing me
With sensations, like whispers,
Grazing my spirit with their laughter
Coloring me in hues of lavender
Happily illuminating my loving nature
With peppering raindrops of hope
Know that I am filled with faith
Flowing through me in waves of grace
Like music playing across the way
Smiling at the promise of kindness
Drifting along, like a tide, waiting
For the moment when it can rise
Swiftly sharing its complete truth
The wish for one moment of self-assurance
Breaking the barriers of pain and worry
Praising the One who is always worthy
Know that I am your thoughts
Longing to color your heart in truth
Invaluable and intense and inspiring
Alive in ways that I can’t explain
With silence that screams of miracles
Wonders to sustain your heart
Through warmth, hope, love that lives
To give a part of me to your thoughts
Where I yearn to live eternally waiting
For your prompt to give my embrace
Sweet love of mine, know that I am
Filled with a spirit of kind-heartedness
That loves you with compassion that breaths
Exhilaration, imagination, self-confidence
Love that breaths intimacy and insight
Laughter, truth and complete devotion
To the heart that has taken me in and given
Safety from harm, light that rises at dawn
Starry skies in the night, echoes of warmth
Welcoming me home to a heart that is family
Sweet love of mine… You are my home!
"melliflous birds are still cooing in the forest of my amber dreams " (by poet)
a gift from my father - on the first day of college,
"Golden Treasury"...A book of poetry...
the first poem I read... "She Walks In Beauty".
I carried that book throughout my life, even when I stopped reading poems...
even when poetry wasn't the priority any more,
Instead I looked at recipe-books - how to improve my culinary skills,
and became almost a champion chef in a few months.
Wordsworth and Browning were far away from my thoughts,
Coleridge? Oh No! Porphyria's Lover, and Ancient Mariner...
did not exist in my world of reality!
how many glorious summers went by ~ how many frosty winters ~
Delicious food, excellent company,
chasing after active children, stressing about job-opportunities,
exotic travels, grandiose entertainment ...
had time for every little trivial thing in the world...but no time for
the book my father imagined his daughter would embrace the most!
then one miraculous day...when even my father gradually forgot
the girl who used to blossom in the world of words, and poetry....
I found my precious friend collecting dust,
neglected, discarded, in the corner of a shelf.. couldn't believe it was waiting for me with a beating heart ~
each and every page came alive with a magical touch ~
still my name clearly visible, handwritten with my father's calligraphic dexterity !
almost shaking to spot my long-lost treasure, I cried!
overwhelmed with emotions, tears fell!
as if a candle burnt and melted.
every drop of tears brought back the lavender memories ~
of an exhilarating past... my passions, my yearnings,
tender dreams of lilac hues never attained, the abandoned path I was supposed to tread ...
a path strewn with lyrics and verses, ballads and
sonnets like blazing auburn leaves of autumn ~
now shockingly empty and despairingly barren.
the forgotten aspirations and never-met goals...the tremendous sense of loss,
of crushing heart-break, of torturous frustration,
all flooded in!
many lonely years have gone by!
melliflous birds are still cooing in the forest of my amber dreams
ultimately my first love has returned !

Gentle gratitude flavors life with heartfelt happiness ~ Quote by the Poet
The farm was thriving with cows, horses and chickens
Filling hearts with rewarding traditions
Whispers of visions sent on winds
Resonating stillness
Gentle comforts from our adoring Creator
Blessing our spirits with hope, faith and love
Soothing, intimate joy sent from the Lord above
Pleasure sent down by One who is greater
Providing dreams for tranquilness
Powerful faith reminds
Working with our hands in happiest conditions
Nurturing peace in the heart who quickens
Bringing out compassion that family thickens
Breathing gracious hues of glad ambitions
Inspiring passions of all kinds
Raising cures for illness
Pain that is healed by the greatest mediator
Who frees hearts with love that fits like a glove

You love me, even when I am wrong
A sinner, frail and weak, in search of a song
Reaching out to the joys I sometimes see
In hearts who give without condition or plea
You love me, and it is such a sweet mystery
Knowing that this hope will go down in history
For the wonderous inspiration that fulfills
Imagination and purpose that enlivens and thrills
You love me, in spite of all that I have done
To discourage your love, the embrace homespun
With my worries, struggles and cynicism
All those things that assure my criticism
You love me, although I’m not always endearing
Leaving me with hope that won’t be disappearing
Creating a wellspring of compassion within me
That fills me with assurance that I’m finally free
You love me, and give me grace everlasting
Always securing me so that I never feel contrasting
But always know the beauty of my dreams
Will hold me in a embrace like the soft sunbeams
You love me, calming my worst sorrows and pains
Soothing away the trials that leave me in chains
Breaking away pieces of anguish that destroys my best
Reminding me that I am most assuredly blessed
You love me through the troubles and adversities
Coloring my ideas with passions and diversities
Reflecting on all the faith I have known because of You
The Jesus who taught me to give, live and pursue
Goodness, acceptance, gentleness and meekness
Which come from Him who gives strength in weakness
2 Corinthians 12:9 - And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Love of Literature
Upon the nightstand rests my favorite book,
I beckon her to bed to have a look.
Anxious anticipation flutters in my chest,
As the day's worries and woes, are laid to rest.
Tenderly, I take her in my hands,
Caressing her cover, she knows my plans.
Lightly yielding as we take our place,
Willing and submissive, with gentle grace.
She's a beauty, in her soft subtle veil,
Gently, my fingers trace her textures, an ardent braille.
I know her body—every peak, every valley, a touch sublime,
Tracing her contours, along the edge, then down her spine.
Pulse quickening, eager mind,
Awaiting the adventure that lies inside.
With delicate fingers, I find my bookmark,
With heightened anticipation,
I spread her pages apart.
An intoxicating aroma fills the night air,
A sweet, savory bouquet, found in classic books so rare.
From the outer page, my finger glides,
All the way across, till I'm just inside.
With a soft, tender touch, I navigate the crease,
Gently pushing outward, tensions released.
With attentive focus, all the way down to the end,
Traversing to the other side, to start again.
Her soft, thin pages, a silky, delicate skin,
A gripping story, further drawing me in.
With the flick of my tongue, I wet my fingertip,
And turn the page with a single finger flip.
Chapter 3, it's just her and me.
Enchanted by her sultry love story,
Hopelessly entangled in her romantic glory.
Page after page, we're intimately engaged,
With kinks and cramps, our positions changed.
Playful paragraphs in passionate positions—
Quite the literary expedition.
Steamy, sensual sentences scintillate the senses,
Trembled? Or trembling? Lost all track of tenses.
Her sensual story, passionate and deep,
Inviting me in further, tonight we do not sleep.
Captivated by every line, savoring every word, I take my time.
Two souls entwined, one rhythm and one rhyme.
Dawn's rays through the window gently creep,
With a sigh, I slowly close the book, softly she weeps.
"Rest assured, my darling, you'll be alright,
For I'll see you again, another rendezvous tonight."
Of all my cherished tomes, she'll always be first,
My love of literature, an unquenchable thirst.

I thought of him that day
Was too emotional to pray
From my vows I’d never stray
Once, I felt alive beside him
I longed to touch him deeply
When he called to me sweetly
Promised to love me completely
Once, I felt his love embrace me
There was feeling I could share
Feelings gentle, soft and rare
Reminding me that we were a pair
Too in love to take a dare
We danced to music love inspired
I whispered to him what I was feeling
Beliefs so spiritual they brought healing
Caused my heart to be caught in dreaming
Once, his hand touched me with passion
I knew his urgency was meant to cure me
Reconcile my intimacy and joys so carefree
Teaching my heart and soul to always agree
Once, he warmed me with love that brings peace
There was feeling I could share
Feelings gentle, soft and rare
Reminding me that we were a pair
Too in love to take a dare
We danced to music love inspired
My bare feet brush the carpet
after I slip out of bed.
Words from an unknown place
resonate in my head.
I grab my car keys
wondering where
the road may lead.
This moment serenity
found in my homestead
time to myself.
Yet I recall my first love
who said it was in my head.
Day whispers
as I rest near a place
where the street ends
but past the ravine
a road with another name
in another time and place.

Tears running down a saddened face
Being wiped away by a loving hand.
A hug, a kiss, a warm embrace;
These can change a frown to a smile.
What power we possess without realizing it.
The future of lives we can mold
By showing love and understanding
When our arms are open to hold.
"Nothing but the Truth"
by: Eric L. Boddie
Something about you simply catches the eye
Heaven Knows that's a fact I can not deny
And every time I have been Blessed to see your face
Really makes me understand the Truth Of His Grace
Not a single blemish have I seen in your frame
In every inch, sexiness is sustained
Keep in mind, I have witnessed the true Beauty of your heart
And if it were possible, I would Love to have a part
Several times I have thought that age is not a thing
However, I am no longer looking for just a fling
And I can tell how Beautiful of a person you truly are
Realize you can have any man you want by far
Nothing in this Life can go against that truth
If only I were younger, I would show you that proof
Knowing that sexiness invaded all the Beauty you possess
As I witnessed it yesterday with you in that red dress
