I am the loner, the rebel
never the leader, I go my own way.
Never trying to run with the pack,
but ahead of them.
I never go where they go,
or do what they do.
Surviving amongst the solitude
of dense forests and misty fogs.
Living for the moonlit midnight hours.
Running wild and free
with the wind in my hair
and the moon
reflecting in my golden eyes.
My kind is close to extinction.
Only a few others remain
who are trustworthy,
only to them do I remain loyal.
I am unforgiving to those
who would dare to cross my path.
I am never afraid
to speak out into darkness.
My wail fills the night air,
a lone cry
not of sadness, or loneliness,
but of freedom,
to go my own way
and be a loner.

A Lone Wolf In My Office

He walked into my office, business in hand,
In denim baggy overalls, a plaid shirt, white painters cap,
and grandpa's old white leather orthopedic shoes.
If I ever get to the ripe old age of 88,
I want to be this lone wolf silhouette of a man.

A slow gait with frailty of movement.
Each step carefully orchestrated and contemplated.
Making one worry the next may become a fall.
But he moves on without even a stumble.
Steadfast stature and posture braced on any lowly perch.

Outer coat showing gaps of missing muscle and mass.
Paws and face forlornly exposed with past battles scorned.
All affairs in perfect order, the next move oft anticipated.
Irises glossy white shadowed with blue wisdom and mystery.
Draped with curtains and folds boldly saying "I am."

Negotiations begin with silence in wait of movement.
Tail wagging intently, teeth exposed only when he smiles.
No bite to his bark, he needn't growl nor gnarl.
Few words, saying only what needs to be heard.
Walking away after a handshake, flash of teeth, and a wink.

Lone Wolf

A heart rages within
 a lone wolf cries
 the earth beneath is falling apart
 distruction, violence, money & greed
 people consuming more than they need

 A silent prey goes out to the universe
 a tear full of
 ''Why''
 falls from his eye
 Mother earth is being abused
 full of junk
 what have we become

 Drowning in glutney
 till we can't breathe
 A lone wolf cries
 ''Why''
 what will become of our lives..

Lone Wolf

Howls heard in echoes ,,through indigo time
 Passages of time reveal souls door
 Soft roses planted in Scattered seeds
 Azure lights bring storms

 Sacred vision awakens mystical dreams
 Shimmery impressive benevolent quest spirits
 Wintry chasm reflects laughter's tis twilight
 Native American legends read souls letter

 Spirit rivals as the wings cry powerful
 Solace the waning moon, rises silvery entail
 Lone wolf connected timber wolf
 Journey the wings bright eagles
 Wings connecting auras

Lone Wolf

It must have been a difficult journey;
The path your life has taken;
To make you not trust another;
And left you feeling forsaken.

In bitterness and anger;
For past wrongs and betrayals;
You keep a safe distance;
So if approached you would avail.

The wound inside your spirit;
That mistrust will not allow to heal.
Is compensated with fears and doubts;
And prevents your heart to feel.

For you vowed that you would never;
Get close to anyone again.
For a heart that has been broken;
You spend your life in defense.

Lone wolf is what you are;
destined to be alone;
Fearing love and intimacy;
Making nowhere your home.

The only one you truly punish;
For the hurt you feel inside.
Is the wolf who shies from happiness;
Because of a wounded pride.

Lone Wolf

Lone Wolf

On our land there is a wolf who walks alone
We speak together as if we are as one
He gives me an illusion of hope when I am down
He tells me look into your beautiful soul
The wolf is wise for we are eternally forever bound.

The wolf deep in our forested meadows
Walks upon this earth with unspoken words
Unspoken words which manifests into determined wisdom
Look beneath you friend and you will find
The answer was always inside but you did not realize.

An institution of lavish greenery ground
Eternally I shall talk to you
For we are kindred spirits
Upon this beautifying earth well sound
Let me walk with you with quiet feet
For humans initially always speak.

I walk and talk to the wolf deep in our woods
Softly on the lavishly greenery
We both walk soundless, softly
As we speak together we will
Always be known as one
The wolf gives me an inner strength
For eternally we walk on
Earth’s luxurious ground.

Lone Wolf” Written by John Moses Freeman

A lone wolf far from the pack of his concern, entertains by flute in hopes of an appearance from Great White Father. Many moon have passed and no sacred white buffalo have been seen or heard of by himself or any of the other members of the tribe. It is always a bad omen to go for so many moons without a sacred appearance of a single white buffalo. Separating himself from the rest of the tribe eliminates the possibility of any bad medicine of unsacred mistakes that might have possibly been made by any of the other braves. Fasting for days Lone Wolf rescinds the weaker part of his soul, giving over to the spirit world. That he might be worthy of the divine appearing presence of the Great White Father. Should the Great White Father decided to divinely grant this mortal His holy appearance from inside the spirit world. Lone Wolf's proof of worthiness is his abstaining from food until his unworthy fleshly senses have rescinded; into the lower depths of darkness of the soul and obliged Lone Wolf’s sacred sense, giving over to the authority of the spirit of his stronger essence.

The nature of the trees of the woods, the air, the water, the sun of day and the moon of night are the image of the lesser senses that must be respected, for they are given to the lesser man’s needs in the lesser world as shelter and food. But today Lone Wolf plays his flute for the purpose of entertaining a presence of the Great White Father of mother earth. He will fast and play until his inner essence becomes one with the essence of creation! By this divinely granted appearance he will receive spiritual council and rectify his tribe with good medicine and receive new direction correcting the bad omen. The white buffalo will appear in the herd again!

The lone wolf has been an icon of self reliance,
independence and authority defiance,
when in reality, the lone wolf leads a very harsh life indeed.
The lone wolf is alone because the pack forced it to leave.

Running With the Lone Wolf Pack

We all have a gift
Wrapped up tightly
Secured by our emotions
Hidden away from the outside world
Some may believe we are not worth giving
We may believe we need to be returned
A pretty box may be what they see
But an empty soul may be all it contains
Do you dare unwrap your gift
Unleash it out into the world
With no guard
with no safety net
In the middle of a crowded street
Do you dare peel the hurt back for all to see
Do you vow to be the lone wolf forever more
Run astray from the pack
Feel you don't fit in
Rush to an end before there is a beginning
Beyond every pair of eyes is a story
and every gift that is unwrapped
no matter how ugly how hurt or how lost
There is someone out there willing to unwrap it
and love it for who or what it is now and will become later
For all you lone wolfs out there you are not alone in your struggles
and love does not run from you; you run from it..
I use to be the one running....

The Lone Wolf

Perhaps I could rely on the maps,
The paved roads and tracks,
But everybody's seen that, in fact..
I take the route unknown, where werewolves roam,
This? Yeah this is my home, everyone's known,
The deer in the leaves, the birds in the trees,
Can't forget mosquitos,
That always catch your neck or toe,
The rowed boats, so sundown star shows,
Everyone goes..a lot of water, we're more celestial,
Adventure's of the night time, forever unknown,
Heavy heap of fur, with such fragile bones,
We're outsiders, the unwiser,
Proves that i'm just, more in tune, with my provider,
The flame that, forever burns fire,
Big brown eyes that, would never expire,
To the rocky mountain top the, trek gets higher,
Forever in the moment to, howl notice prior.

With the Supermoon in the night sky,
the magnetic field pull, powerful,
lone wolf steps from the dark shadows,
no longer enduring the torment of lycanthropy.
Her transformation into the supernatural,
makes her a natural huntress,
killer instincts, humanoid
hazel eyes bright like stars.
A ferocious animal in her fur-coat,
a camouflage to her prey, muscular
jaws drool frothy saliva,
fangs sharp like razor,
detrimental to human flesh,
one wicked bite draws blood, sinew and gore.
When the hunt is over, the feast demolished,
a true wolves' heart's a mischievous spirit,
she sits on her hind legs and,
a chorus of howling begins,
howling at the round face moon
ahooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Under the rare Supermoon,
lone wolf runs barefoot with the midnight pack.

Lone Wolf

I am the warrior, who has travelled far and wide,
Searching for the truth,
The light of good protects me,
But darkness blinds me,

I care no more for this life or this world,
For I cared once ago,
Yet I lost her,
It left me broken,
It left me beaten,
So I decided to stop caring,
As it will always lead to misery and sadness,
For the ones I love have now all left me,
Never to return,
Such a cruel fate,

So I travel onwards never looking back,
A Lone Wolf searching for a purpose and a place to call home.

Lone Wolf

She walks among nocturnal light
Seeking what she may devour
Forever lonely is her plight
Forever does the land she scower

She seeks her mate though he has died
A hunters gun did bring him down
Her grief now has her live this lie
False hope now has her surely bound

She howls now under moonlight rays
For now it is her only friend
The predator now fills like prey
She wonders when this long night ends

The Lone Wolf

Howling at the moon at night....
always ready for a fight....
willing to destroy everything in sight,
dishing out pain is my delight.
Pretty crazy to hear, right?

I am the wolf climbing the hill,
I am the one who's out for the kill,
the one wolf who never stays still....
and has concentrated power of will.
I am that wolf climbing the treacherous hill.

Who's to say I won't get what I want,
or take what I need?
Who's to say I don't have what it takes....
to be the best in the world,
to be the one who succeeds?
Who's to say I can't get things done?
I work better when I'm the only one....
when I'm the lonely one....

I am the lone wolf....
I answer to no one,
I defy,
my howl is my war cry....
I scratch and I claw,
acknowledging every flaw....
because I know deep down,
someday I'll have my crown....
but until that day,
stay out of my way.

Who are you to come at me sideways?
What right do you have,
to throw your weight around with a wolf?
Have you not heard that a wolf's bite
is dangerously deadly?
Have you not heard that I am always
on the prowl?
Be aware of when you hear my growl....

The wolf on the hill is never....
is never.... as hungry....
as the one climbing the hill.
Look me in my eyes,
and you'll realize....
I am that hungry wolf....
The best walks I've taken....
are the walks I've taken alone....
not being judged, not being bashed,
not being criticized, and not being trashed....

So let me live my life,
and let me live it in silence....
otherwise,
you'll just end up,
a victim in my words of violence.
For I am the lone wolf,
I walk alone....
So move out of my way....
as I climb this hill and claim my throne.
