Lone Wolf

Lone Wolf On our land there is a wolf who walks alone We speak together as if we are as one He gives me an illusion of hope when I am down He tells me look into your beautiful soul The wolf is wise for we are eternally forever bound. The wolf deep in our forested meadows Walks upon this earth with unspoken words Unspoken words which manifests into determined wisdom Look beneath you friend and you will find The answer was always inside but you did not realize. An institution of lavish greenery ground Eternally I shall talk to you For we are kindred spirits Upon this beautifying earth well sound Let me walk with you with quiet feet For humans initially always speak. I walk and talk to the wolf deep in our woods Softly on the lavishly greenery We both walk soundless, softly As we speak together we will Always be known as one The wolf gives me an inner strength For eternally we walk on Earth’s luxurious ground. Theresa, thank you for writing a poem that is a compelling reminder that all animals--not just a lone wolf--have much to teach us and deserve our love and respect. Why, I wonder, are we so often indifferent to the animal kingdom? hugs x x x Paul

In some Native belief's any form of wild life is a form of their great spirits, or another meaning a wild animal is the strength which is a wisdom of earth to which their culture resonates them as one when they part... This is what my Great-Grandfather told me when I was young.... thanks Paul for stopping by.... hugs x x x Theresa

In the village I was born in the mid of previous century there were many wolves around to see and have seen some. Your poem is a delightful one and doesn't depict at all the fierce animal it may become. Aligorically it may become a deeply profound poem if we dare to refer to the wolf within! A seven dearest, Theresa!

Thank you ever so much Demetrios, for your fabulous comment on this penned poem of mine. Also thank you especially for the 7 and the way of some natives, they have some form of animal to which their many different cultural belief leads them all with a strength to be mighty warriors or whatever the case may be.

Ahh, thank you so very much Jan, for your most precious and delightful comment... My great-father had found a lost little pup of a wolf and nurtured it as one of his precious dogs. We all have a picture of this in black and white. Many hugs Theresa. Also I just finished emailing you.... Love and hugs Theresa
