“LOVERS LINE UP”



during those nights
they knew what it was
to be alone,
to hold onto their 
thoughts,
to weep and wrap their
isolation inside their
tears.

during those nights
they made peace with
the loneliness that 
made their thoughts
cry.

now these nights,
isolation is a memory,
they are each other’s
thoughts and the tears
