At center of soul,
Lien my wealth of gold,
In the bible,
You’re very well liable,
To see gold,
In centerfold,
Of soul,
Not in centerfold ,
Of playboy, so bold,
Not in scorn of ****, magazine,
The mind thinks so keen,
Not in your house of ill repute,
Like a flute’s toot,
But in your center,
Is Godly splendor,
She is the real contender,
For men’s souls,
She holds the gold, of souls,
She is your centerfold,
She is your well, and you can tell,
When she begins to swell,
Infinity’s well,
She begins to spin,
And begins to gin,
The gold of soul’s,
Centerfold,
A vortex of power,
Men will declare,
How can this be,
Mein eyes can’t see,
This within me,
So they return to be,
Of mind’s vanity,
As death’s reverse swirl,
Returns them to the world,
Like a natural woman in earth,
Her wealth is her girth,
Not of this earth,
A birth from above,
She is love,
Receive,
Believe,
Within your relieve,
She is your power,
By which you build your tower,
By the hour,
In earth,
Love is her girth,
Not of this earth,
So let her love give birth,
In earth,
Particles of pure light,
Your lady is a holy sight,
Not a cat's fight,
In repute’s night,
She is your mold,
For your life’s unfold,
Unfold, your gold,
Let the outer unfold,
Be the center mold,
Of the Godly Gold!!

Fear
It is a very small demon.
It is a tiny monster,
that never stops chewing on;
anything it can get.
It is the one that hides,
and comes home with you.
It hops on while you are;
at the market, the post office,
work, school and even and/or
at church.
Listening to gossip,
overthinking the unimportant,
and by being unfocused on the big...
picture!
God walks with all of us.
Right beside us in the storm.
Lien on Him.
Talk to Him.
He is listening.
Angels around you.
Angels around your family.
Stronger than all others,
soldiers for the King.
Love each other unrelentingly.
Hold each other high.
Give the names of all you love,
to God in the sky!
Rain down drops of hope,
eliminate all dispair.
Let the saints know,
in their hearts...
ever that You,
are THERE!
Edge
The Edge,
or rather the Edgewood...
is a place, not a thing.
It is near the bridge,
but not quite under it.
It is quiet,
and full of only the "sounds",
that rarely choose to exist.
Bring a tablet,
a pen,
a paper,
a pencil...
colored markers,
an eraser... too, if you dare.
But be ready to take things down,
as they pass by,
captured only for their beauty,
and not disturbed,
but cherished for their
existence.
Come to the Edge,
and lien out,
but never step over,
without your wings.

I have been here, the touch of the rose petals under my feet...The drink of lotus wine, adorned in white lien and gold... Behind the veils , in the temples of Abydos ... The scenes replay.... Flicking like wish candles in the whirling winds.. Scents of Myrrh ascend, as the priestess chants, spells of love... Amazons rides the waves of sand....
I have been here, welding the sword on the battlefield of Mongols ... Under the thunderous hooves horses, salty blood flowed, in glory and valor of, Genghis Khan..
I have been here, crystalline Kama Sutra, frozen in time.. The of dance of creation.. The Tantric courtesan spreads her sensuous legs, in service to the Ruby Maharaja....
I have been here, young crippled boy, holding the banner of atonement.. As he limps in procession of saffron cloaked Buddhist monks...
I have been here, full circle.. Cleansing the lives ,the field ,the heart, in the truest core of being.. The Web ebbs and flows... Earth Bound again, the cycle of life continues...
Miss Lien I feel you have gone now
Through the doors to gods home
I hope when you took your last breath
You were not alone
You meant the world to our family
We loved you like our own
I hope when you took your last breath
You were not alone
Our years with you in Saigon
Were the best we had ever known
I hope when you took your last breath
You were not alone
We wanted to come back and visit you
But the years they have just flown
Now you have taken your last breath
You are not alone ….
Poetic Charmer
My faithful introduction
My name is Mike, who am I to you?
If you always prayed
For a smile on your face
I will give you eternal joy and laughter
If you always prayed I
For a single drop of water from the waters of life
To heal your broken and betrayed soul
I will be your personal ocean of spring waters; of life
I will kiss away your and nurse your broken heart
I will baptize you in the name of love, tender care
And I will give you new meanings to appreciate life
If you always prayed
To see a paragon of beauty, inside-out
Then look in the mirror and see
Why you take away my breath every time I see you
If you always prayed
To taste a fruit form the Garden of Eden and Third heaven
That Adam and Eve never succeeded to taste
I will introduce you to my sweet lips and tongue
Which were made by the same fruit and honey
If you always prayed
To experience a perfect kiss
No matter how many times you kissed
You never a perfect kiss
Until you face the burning passion in my eyes
And let those lips embrace these lips
And be swept off your feet with
My wild gentle kiss
If you always prayed
To experience a perfect love passion session
Though love making is not a perfection
I will make art to your body like poetry
And make you compose a love song
resulting from your satisfaction
And mostly, lf you always prayed
Not to feel lonely and alone
just close your eyes and reach deep in your soul
I will be your strength, I will be your friend
Lien on me I will comfort you, I will appreciate you
I will complete you
If you always prayed
To find eternal love and destiny
Then I was to love you

I feel Disturbed
with the callous call to arms
for vested gains
and rhetorical rants of raving men
ostentatiously out to save your souls
having pledged theirs to Lucifier's lien.
I see the city ablaze
with dreams of the denizens on the street
as they mindlessly move
to put their minds in front of soulless screens
churning out code for what they know not.
I wish I would, I wish I could
shout at the ostriches all around
who hear the screams and shut them out
pretending they do not exist.
What God's of Darkness
do we pray to
at temples of modern doom?
The Simon and Garfunkelian tune
finds vent as a doomsayer's dirge.
And I am suitably disturbed.

Though I was young and less than legal age,
I had a friend who co-signed forms… rampage!
At twenty-one, to me she seemed mature.
A confidence of trust that is for sure!
Oh how I loved that year; I was nineteen.
Yes, it was then I took out my first lien.
What fun to have a car to call my own.
All I had to do was pay off the loan.
With, pride…I loved my 67 Ford.
That Galaxy 500, I adored.
I could hardly believe it was so new.
A one owner one-year-old car; yahoo!
I was a tiny gal in a big car.
It was just the ticket for going far.
I could drive to work or go out with friends.
I loved taking trips on those long weekends.
In that car, I felt gladness and had clout.
Sometimes there were problems, without a doubt.
One afternoon, with the engine ablaze,
I screamed for help; my heart sunk in malaise.
I was picking up a friend from her work.
All that excitement was just a life perk!
Some nearby man came running to my aid.
He extinguished the fire while I prayed.
The dealer fixed the car without a charge.
I was back on the road, a kid at large!
We had a problem with a gunshot wound.
Believe you me, by my friends I was lampooned.
A 30.06 was on the back seat.
When it went off you could hear my heartbeat.
My sweater on the trigger; it was cold.
It carried that wound until it was old.
I traded it in; I was twenty-five.
But the Ford still lives in life's fun archive!

Written for Poetry Soup Member Contest:
Pleasure prompts play as pain primes poise,
Observe right now the way you feel;
Nurture each day the craft of voice,
Deed funds endow that soon reveal;
Express the good where deep thoughts come,
Rise to make haste ere time is spent.
Oblige firm mood that helps you sum,
Note how we waste our precious lien;
Wake up and see life's true beauty,
Opt to live cheer with happy face;
Niche grand plenty as joy sets free,
Do value here that touch of grace;
Expound your tale as dream comes true,
Reach to avail what wonder cues.

Internal Revenue Service At the Door
By Elton Camp
It is a fate too frightful even to mention
If you somehow should get his attention
Might as well comply if he demands loot
For his power is very close to absolute
At the rights of taxpayers he will just sneer
From him you have a very great deal to fear
He is ugly, vengeful and disgustingly mean
And just loves to threaten to slap on a lien
Even if it’s innocent your mistake has been
He will behave as if it is actually a major sin
The power that he wields over citizens’ lives
Other government agencies to envy drives
So here are the words that taxpayers most fear
“Your return’s selected for audit this year.”
The agent may quickly tell what it’s about
“That you cheated on taxes, there’s no doubt.”
“But even if I am unable to prove your crime,
For the past ten years, I’ll audit ‘em each time.”
“And if any trouble about me you should give,
I’ll audit your future returns as long as you live.”
If, because I wrote this, auditing does bring
Don’t waste time as you won’t find a thing
A certificate of deposit love's purchase to prepare
Penning love's earnest with liberal flare
Inscribing title and documenting deed no meager fare
Tapping into literary vault of esteemed relics your assets to pare
Initiating votive contract no trite chare
For with your appreciating qualities can none compare
Each cuddly rhyme; each sentimental stare
Bonds my pen; binds our charming affair
Each bartered simile your value lays bare
Every metonymic expression love's affadavit will swear
Each titilating allusion; a lien your affections to ensnare
Each pawned metaphor our liabilities will pair
Every allegorical kiss my life's lease will square
Every affable alliteration increases your stock a share
My hyperbolic soliloquy your dividend will declare
My epilogue tendered, 'my devotion exchanged for your care'
Behind the door what does happen?
Behind the door what is hidden?
Until any one's door is closed,
the things there, are not exposed.
Of privacy in life, the right I seek.
My friends want, the right to peep.
I keep my door closed for security
That enhances neighbour's curiosity.
Whatever is there, to make the pep
You cannot put forward the step.
Onto the other side of a closed door,
unless you have the lien of yours.
If you want other's doors remain
for you to step into, any time open.
Keep your door open for them,
who needs you and for friends.

Carnal atrophy of the spirit is sin
like fallen limbs from winter needing glean
and yet still reaching upward for redeem
subservient, still rebounding for esteem!
The will of man's invention starts the ream
pursuing some ideal beyond review,
yet all the earth waits solemn masking scene,
my life in Christ no different, no ensue!
The spirit is greater than man's vane esteem
and spirit does choose its vessels, lesser lien,
to ward off compensation from false mean,
my spirit, the lover of my soul, swept clean!
Lost bounty, the horizon breaks extreme
while warfare plunders, Satan preys again,
the truth, Christ risen, does not mean the end,
as bounty hunters lure with fools' pretend!
Our one brief happiness spied out our Amen,
while luring healed occlusion to its end!
