Best Judging Poems

Premium Member Harsh Judgement of Others

We judge others with ease, so very harshly!
But what about ourselves?
Not one of us is pure nor sinlesss,
Unless you are dead, of course.

Moralists have great fun, they do judge all!
Yet....Christ loved sinners and saints.
So why judge another, it’s not your place!
What sins are hidden behind your smiling face?

Humanity is not perfect, why pretend it to be?
With hate against your fellow man~ tis what
Satan loves to see.
Ring loud the church bells~do remind others to love.
Stop verbal and written attacks~they live in red hot,
Satan’s heart and gloves.

Christ said, “love one another, as I have l loved you.”
This takes patience and getting off your high horse, too.
It’s acceptable to correct your brother in the human race.
But look in the mirror first~ before so casually labeling
and dismissing another, as a total disgrace!

Premium Member Judging Made Easy

I'm gonna post a contest
I know no one will win
With a list of many rules
That will make your noggin spin
And if some how you understand
That list a mile long
I'm sure if I look hard enough
I'll find your spelling wrong

So, Go ahead and write away
And do your very best
This complicated style
Will put you to the test
Yes, this will be more like work
It sure won't be much fun
But it will all be worth it
If you just make number one

Think about how proud you'll feel
With your name high on that list
But glory's something you won't find
You'll only end up p**sed
But I'll take my time in judging
As it drags out over days
Then right besides your christian name
I'll type a big " N/A" ................HeeeeeeeYahhhhhhh !!!!

Premium Member Perfect Crimes

Please read the rules above. Obey,
Lest you receive a quick “NA.”
So many fail to read my rules,
So many fail to heed them. Fools!

There’s quite a few, yes, I agree,
Take note of number fifty-three,
Which warns you must use perfect rhymes,
Imperfect ones are common crimes.

Instances of this are ample,
Let me give you an example,
By some guy, let’s call him “Blake,”
Two violations for heavens sake!:

“Tyger Tyger, burning bright,
In the forests of the night;
What immortal hand or eye,
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?"

Perhaps ‘twas written by a child,
Whose scribbles with a pen were wild.
Who dares rhyme “eye” with “symmetry?”
This poet barks up a wrong tree.

And also violates Rule Eight,
Good spelling is my main mandate.
“Tyger?” Really!? Sounds precocious,
But the spelling is atrocious!

I found another case just recently,
A poem that starts out quite decently,
Then ignores my main decrees,
The errors seem to come in threes:

“…Back into the chamber turning, all my soul within me burning,
Soon again I heard a tapping somewhat louder than before.
‘Surely,’ said I, ‘surely that is something at my window lattice,
Let me see, then, what thereat is, and this mystery explore …”

That’s three bad rhymes, all in a row,
Although it seems to have good flow,
(Suggest you study E. A. Poe),
And syllable counts? Inconsistent!
See Rule Ten, I am insistent.

Imagery superb? Yes, granted,
But who rhymes “haunted” with “enchanted?”
Such rhyming crimes are then repeated,
If only they could be deleted:

“...Desolate yet all undaunted, on this desert land enchanted—
On this home by horror haunted—tell me truly, I implore ..."
Could these mistakes I just ignore?
“NA,” I say. Quoth: Nevermore!

I was on one continent and she another.
Both of us were always writing letters to each other.
I felt that we were headed in a romantic direction,
so I booked a flight destined for her location.
She was so lovely and ever so charming,
and as we walked arm in arm, she never stopped smiling.
The evening was ending so she brought me to her home,
and that was the beginning of everything going wrong.
Severed human heads were on display everywhere,
Suddenly I was wishing that I wasn't there.
"Doesn't all these severed heads bother you?" I asked she.
"Damned straight," she said, "my sister has more than me.
Every head represents a slain sworn enemy.
Each head elevates our status in the community."
Is this woman crazy? Has she completely flown the coop?
Not at all, this is normal behavior for the culture she has been exposed to.
If your brain had better receptors than everybody,
and the tissue of your brain was of the highest quality
and if you happened to be born and raised in Nazi Germany,
all the more faster you would develop into a greater Nazi.
Blaming someone for their behavior is one of the worst things to do.
All behavior is reflective of an environment that imposed its values.
If you were raised in the Amazon rainforest, you'd be a headhunter too.

Judging Others…
whimsical law?

It is a kangaroo court,
and the clowns have just arrived.
Dressed in suits and ties,
eating pies.

They think they know best,
they have been put to the test.
Liars on fire…
every “one”.

Taking care of a tiger,
that eats cheese crackers…
for breakfast,
can be dangerous.
to you…
and to others.

You are stupid,
with your wishes…
that make fishes die.
You are selfish,
with your demands.
You do not care.
you dare,
to be first,
until the last,
and then fast…

you find,
your hair on fire,
and you are begging
for relief…
from the very
thing, you wanted,
more than life…
itself!

Judging Hypocrisy

Look at you
Oh so fashionably accessorised
In a demi-couture package
In your environmentally conscious style
Playing out ecological homage.

But bright red plastic buttons tinge your dress
iPhone resplendent in its fluoro yellow cover
Television screen sized sunglasses
Your hair infused with streaks of amber.

Revolutionary or is it maybe avant-garde?
Your visionless voice on sustainable ecology.
Little chance dirt would have graced your nails
Nouveau magazines guiding your ideologies.

The empowerment that must come with driving
Urban tractor, fuel efficiency rating and bling
Billowing air-conditioning making it bearable
Jingling bangles as you swap CD’s to sing.

Small pity the organic shop is across town
But the drive is so definitely bearable.
Cling filmed ethical food on polystyrene
The Emperors clothes so plausibly venerable.

You disdain the smog of a wood fuelled fire
Preferring the heat that occurs from a pump
Oblivious appliances are fed by a coal powered station
Comfortable the broken hair dryer goes to the dump.

But I’ll always admire your self-serving tenacity
Because with candid conviction you’re the first to judge me.

Judging Others By Appearance

Judging Others By Appearance

By Elton Camp

For some we have a hatred or fear
Almost as soon as they come near

The lady dressed just a bit too cute
Some assume must be a prostitute

Perhaps a boy dressed a certain way
Is, by others, immediately called gay

A man in a suit, respect won’t lack
That is, unless he happens to be black

A priest with his collar turned around
As if he’s a pedophile, others frowned

The humped man, old and gray
“An old fart,” is what they say

When a Mexican some now see
“An illegal alien he sure must be”

What shows up on the outside
Another person, though, may hide

I sent my poem to Supreme Court judge in the US, Neil Gorsuch
He was clear about his personal opinions
"WooW, a first class poem ~ a top winner poem"
Should I trust him, a friend of Donald Trump

I called the Supreme Court judge in the US, Brett Kavanaugh
(I read my poem to him)
"Now, what do you think ... is this a winning poem" ? ... I asked
Brett Kavanaugh replied,"I drank some beer last night and got black out
... harassment, this poem is just crap ... you will get an N / A "

keeping from outsiders
the beautiful, loving contents

Don'T Judge Me

Take time to know me, and you will see
That I am nothing like what you have heard spoken of me.
Give me a chance and I will prove to you
That although I am not perfect,
I have a heart that is pure and true

Take time to know me; just give it a try.
You will see that we are not that much different, you and I.
I make mistakes, don't you?
But if you judge me by mine, expect that you will be judged by yours too.

Take time to know me,
 you have nothing to fear.
Unless you wish to hang on to
what you have been told by your peers.
Just for a minute put yourself in my shoes.
How would you feel if someone was going by the rumors they have heard about you?

Take time to know me;
what have you got to lose,
Besides the so called friends who have got you confused?
I am not asking you to choose between me and them,
And if they really care about you, they will always be your friends.

Take time to know me is all I ask,
No great feat or extraordinary task.
Then if you don't like me,
It will be because of what you have seen and heard for yourself
And not because of what you have been told by someone else.

Judging the Judgement

JUDGING THE JUDGEMENT
...........THE ANSWER I OWE

If I were a fish ,
would you be my ocean ?
If I were the ocean ,
would you bring in life ?
or , would you drain me out ?
If I were a lion ,
would you be my forest ?
If I were the forest ,
would you be my trees ?
or , would you burn me down?
If I were a butterfly ,
would you let me fly ?
or , if I were fly ,
would you take my life ?
If I had a form ,
would be my heart ?
If I had a heart ,
would you be my soul?
or , would you dig out a hole ?
If I were a boy ,
would you buy me cars ?
If I were a girl ,
would you buy me dolls ?
or ,If I were a boy but a girl at heart
would buy me dolls riding cars ?
either say yes or say no ;
you don’t know me if you say yes.
You still don’t know me if say no .
So , if you don’t know me , then don’t you dare judge me.

Premium Member Judging the Science Fair

I come across a very life like display
(doubtfully claimed to be the work of some
first grader) of every planet and star
in the Milky Way sky. For the solar system
he’s used Styrofoam balls, and each of them
are unique artistic expressions: on Mars,
it seems the sea came to be by a thumb
being pressed on the surface. The array
of color in Jupiter’s eye fill my
own with tears for their beauty, as do Pluto’s
light brown heart and Venus’s orange swirling paint.
But what really gets me is the moon’s faint
outline of a smile that for no reason glows.
“You made this?” I ask; “Believe it.” - His shining reply.
