Through unfinished steps the Son of God goes
towards chimed glory;love has set His seal.
An endeavor abreast paternal grows, 
blindly bestows complete fervour, and zeal.

Bequeathing sun streamed through the blinds and drenched
the thirsty through His breath rite of baptism. 
Flourished such love, such rapture, its strings...
