Best Indisputably Poems

Poets Poetry Process

Inspiration.

Inspiration is indisputably unexpected like scattered showers on scorching days
From ants raging war within the logs crevice, or the mysterious sea’s zephyrs after dark
Spontaneously leaping into perpetual thought, desire stealthily follows
Carefully selecting beloved thoughts within the brains exotic continuum

Forming the poem

Spontaneously choosing a companion to create your Picasso of words
Swiftly and slowly decomposing memories to adjectives and verbs
Rearranging, changing, and emotions of satisfaction and frustration
The Poets post then accept comments for their creation

The Greatest Battle Ever Fought

“THE GREATEST BATTLE EVER FOUGHT”

A woman dressed in sunlight- standing on the moon
Crowned with gold stars-about to birth a Son soon
Another image alongside her –fiery and fierce
A dragon, seven heads crowned, ten horns to pierce
Flicking its tail, knocking stars from the sky
Dumped them on earth—Creation, plotting to deny

To shepherd all nations the woman birthed her Son
God seized Him to safety-- a throne to be won
The dragon got angry—a huge war broke out
Michael and his Angels fought back without doubt
The dragon and his angels fought with equal effort, brutally
No match for Michael, it was thrown from heaven, ruthlessly

Enemy, serpent, the devil himself---plotted violently
To lead people astray in dubious manner... silently
A strong voice from Heaven with power rang out
The blood of the Lamb will defeat—indisputably bring about
Salvation and power inevitably dawned—it was done
Our Saviour fought, deliverance ours – Victory.... He won

(Inspired by ‘Revelation’--Chapter 12)

Eerie

There was a florist in southern McNungus
Sloppily smeared with soil humongous.
Customers suspected something was wrong
When proof arrived indisputably strong:
His ears displayed five varieties of fungus.

Premium Member The Fishermen's Lament

Angrily, rain enfolds the insular rise of lawn undulating.
Anglers dream, envious fishermen, inside looking out urging

apostles, who elope within imaginary onslaughts, hooked unburdening's.
Aloft, thunder encounters lightening's insistent taunt, oracles fearsome uttering's.

And still, each fisherman's innermost summoning orchestrates this untoward
atmospheric downfall, each drop induced, prayerful, outpouring is underscored.

Admittedly many envious housebound inmates seek oceans, lakes, unexplored
although, the earthly torrent interferes pitiless, onerous, rainfall unleashed.

Absent the energizing rays introduced by ordinary sun, undone
are these enigmatic men in rooms, oar less, ship-less, landlubbers unconsoled.

Another day encases them indoors mooning over fish uncontrolled.
A trophy earned, stuffed, indisputably shows offerings untold.

Ah, fishtails energetically rise incensed by objections never unabridged
absent their earnest wives, imagination rolls on winds un-curtailed.

Just Don'T Quit

Reaching out unconsciously, not knowing where to embark upon,
This damned spirit is grasping, doesnt know what else to do,
With no vexed thoughts on whomever else may read or know,
My fingers press down with an anxious intent, focused and true,
No one else in this moment, these words are only meant for you.

Pain and misfortune is all my reflections allow me to view,
Guarded or misguided it seems I have traveled the earths crust,
For a first in my life there is the brightest of anticipations,
Fearful of its very outcome I stumble damn, ****, i can't get up,
Knowing what I want is so indisputably blatant, Its very much you.

That's obviously so easy to express, but wait why can't I let go,
Confused and consumed, my mind races for excuses and its ending,
Happiness forever graspless in my existance what am I to feel,
With little understanding of these chains that encircled my soul,
Our frienship to me is so unique, amazing yet nothing without you.

A liftime of emptiness forces my emotions and causes my hesitation,
Wasted time not a part of our experience if I can make it my own,
Decisions been made, letting go, I'm going to dive threw this fire,
Doesn't this seem crazy understanding that you're my true desire,
The way we meld just insane, said I made it easy, but only for you.

Now I've said my piece, there it is, there you have it, here you go,
This is all for naught if you've already made a different decision.
But if I'm right just do me a favor, turn to me and just say this,
"Its alright, I actually understand, I gave you your time, no worries here",
"It hasnt been easy for either of us and just know, I'm not going to quit!"

Truth and Reality

When the colors of sorrow fade away,
When the leaves come back to life,
When the shadows of the past finally lifts up,
When living went rife,
What an enchanted illusion,
Reality is, like a lullaby
For we are still children,
Grown enough to cry,
When the people start to love,
Another not because they are bound,
And life will be beautiful,
Like the ocean breeze and dulcet sounds.
For what life has taught us is,
More than we can soak in,
But the virtue of living,
Depends on all our sins.
When the colors starts to fill again,
When the leaves starts to fall,
When the shadows become people,
When living unheard the call,
What a surprise,
This life brings,
It indisputably lies ahead,
Like night after day
And morning after night,
If only it could stop,
And change the course of time,
Oh what a wonder that would be,
If life was played,
Just like a game,
And a game no to be won,
Loved cherished and understood,
For the same.
When people begin to leave,
And scars come back again,
When life is all about giving,
And it all is back to normal
Again.
Oh what a strange illusion
Reality is.

I Leaped

I Leaped
     By Dane Smith-Johnsen

Saw my life indisputably clinging to a past night.
Saw my hopes fall downward, as my heart lay broken.
Ripped asunder like petals of a buttercup, strewn.
Vanished with the wind.

Saw my dreams undeniably showing in the moonlight.
Saw my mind rebounding and life’s paths ricochet.
Turned, I, somewhere to a place that in God I knew not.
Lost in the landscape.

Saw my soul distinctly crying, dying without insight.
Saw my lone self-sinking in a crest’s avalanche.
Plunging quickly as a geyser whose power lost might.
Steaming with duty.

Saw my Father understandingly reach down from above.
Felt the strength of loving as He held out His hand.
Leaped I safely to the bosom of His arms that day.
Praying, by faith, home.

Failed Garden of God

The first cut
of roses
are in bloom
and I will
see them soon,
very soon.

They float
in a bowl
of Arctic ice-flow;
regarded highly
by the local Wal-Mart
feng shui
masters.

Made to hang and share
the air
with antebellum
paintings
of imagination mansions;
holding common court,
side by side,
with ancient saints
of former papal dynasties.

The sweet scent
of first bloom perfume,
exaggerated
in all three,
becomes, too soon,
disguised, sour, funerary
aromas of terminus musk.

Can these murdered
roses face rage
from the pastel haze
of entryway
Nirvana?

When contradiction
changes or disintegrates
thought,
immutable miracles might
be imbued beyond the common wrought.

You attained an interdiction
of proportional catastrophes
which indirectly praises
all the phases
of old Rome's historic papacies.

The dead red roses float
in symbiotic sacrifice
to long dead religions
and a joyous old South.
The new South seduced
by orgiastic myth,
reproduced,
to promote fevered pleasure
in sycophant seekers
of false history.

I found displayed
all the rages
of the ages
on the pages
in their own time -
placed by decision
of revisionist mind.

Integrity of lust,
indisputably pure
until sated
by objectified cure.

Then lost again
in retrieval of memory.

Now contaminated, fully,
by casual indoctrination
causing idiosyncratic
immolation of synaptic integration.

A self-destructive, cultural,
(*****sapiens specific)
neurotic guilt is causal.

Is there somewhere,
hidden in forbidden,
abandoned land,
a gated, grisly city
sealed and shut
by rusted nails?
Standing there
where citrus fruit rots,
in the sultry dusk of time -

Eden -
forsaken ruination of a city;
the failed garden of God.

To Be Generous Without Greed

" To be generous without greed,"
is the commitment I make ,
because my satisfaction
comes from making one happy;
I was conceived by a gentle mother
who helped me succeed
in my quest for truth,
not as much seeking riches
or venture everything in madness,
always caring for those stricken by poverty...

In all my envisioned glory,
all I wished for...was serenity;
not a tumultuous and fast life
with a strew of wealthy friends,
who rarely feel a pinch of sadness
and consider better alternatives!
The physical world is controlled
by forces beyond our conception;
the material world is indisputably
the contagious wealth we lust after,
a vain wealth that's being crushed
by  the specter of death and its demons;
it continues to attract and deceive us
until we can no longer sustain it in our grip...

" To be generous without greed, "
seem unrealistic and equivocal words
in our selfish and ungrateful world,
which presumes on goodness and generosity;
if honest people work hard and prosper, then why
others try to obtain it with other means?
Honesty is measured in deeds,
but unselfishness consists of fairness and humanity...

Free Cee Am I the Only One Who Knocks Off Half of a Pint Bottle of Vodka At Three a M

LASHES TO ASHES IN SLOW MOTION

Might I please present myself as a prologue to death
Because unless I am terribly wrong…….
I can’t have too terribly long
And I’ve been lazy too long
But I don’t have too long to act crazy
Incredibly and indisputably inane
And drive other people institutionally insane

My days dry up like clay caskets caught in the Cancun sun
Leading to nights that usually end by me ending up with whiskey whisking away yet another weary evening
Witnessed and coerced by two dead soldiers made of glass
Who kicked my ass the night before
When fright came before a blackout
And darkness led to a morning of foul tasting coffee and a donut of doubt
What secret could the night before grasp tightly in its clutch?
Will people say my performance was a bit too much?
Is there a lady somewhere that I wouldn’t recognize if her eyes were made of fire with whom I let desire declare two bodies bare?
And precisely what did she and I share?
Was it something controlled by a lack of control?
Did we meld in mind, body and soul?
Did seduction succeed in its mission to maraud our minds and give making love the meaning it was meant to have?
Is there a lady out there who borrowed a snippet from my life and may have been complicit in the death of a dream?
Did we watch the world fly in fast forward together?
And sometimes in slow motion in order that our time together would be extended by the exclusion of the relativity of time
And a second could sing for as long as it takes a wedding bell’s voice to fade into the hollowness of night
And a minute might meander down the middle of a mercurial moment and remain there until you sigh deeply and chase the stars away for the morning’s sake
And oh to the music of mysticism your countenance is wont to make
Sung by a choir of questions and a chorus of conclusions
While a flute would fleetingly fade into forgotten confusion
Alas, my days decline by death’s design and do more than demoralize me
My only request is that you disregard my genius and charming manner and please don’t memorialize me
Nor commemorate me in any way
Simply cremate me and toss me away!

The Master of Time and Space

Carney, Tightrope, A Song For You
plus so many more

Instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, mentor
Claude Russell Bridges — Leon Russell (1942-2016)

One of Oklahoma’s finest
One of America’s finest

His voice the perfect blend of annoying
nasal-rub, blues-massage, sandpaper over soul
and bleeding-emotion-on-steroids

As Hank Wilson he simply put an exclamation point
on “America’s music” — Country

Music to hate
Music to love

either way

music

indisputably raw

Tradition says, “Rest in Peace”

I say, “Blow their minds, wherever you are.”

Righteousness In Distress

Many indisputably dreaded lunacy ensued yet hoped there is no hell
On a dim corner, the deposed 2017 president wiggle in his dank cell
Fake hero inside a fat ego in Moscow, waggle bloody fists of outrage
Nothing tragic happens if neurons are at bay and not on a rampage!

Societal issues is like week old bread without slivers of magic butter
Words embellished with hot air eventually sink masses in iced water
Sword of justice seizes a mad czar and a true charlatan alleged holy
If evil doers cramp your insides, chomp anti-acid, dump your worry!

Destination

time crawls like a spy through lives
sneaks unwavering through the undergrowth
only the deepest can handle it
rusted nails hide in knots
we move into a hologram of suffering
where observations give us wings to growth
I met you on the hill of unity
where emotions turn in reflection
under the banner of universal truth
your love encapsulated in resonance
indisputably the most beautiful thing that is conceivable
two travelers on the way to their destination

Premium Member Rehashing History: Albert Einstein, relatively speaking

Albert Einstein was an interesting guy,
Indisputably smart and reputedly shy.
His legacy's statistical,
But had he been more egotistical,
Instead of E=mc2, he might have called his theory "Me, myself, and pi".

Premium Member Being Human

If you're good or you’re bad
If you’re happy or sad
If you’re angry or glad
You are human

If you're bald or you're hairy
Or fearful or scary
If you’re brave or wary
You’re human

If you hate scrubbing floors
Or repainting your doors
Then you are indisputably…
Human

If you sing like a lark
Or your voice is a bark
Or you howl in the dark
You are human

If you’re normally nice
But you’ve made a device
To put rats on ice
You’re still human

If you order your cat
To go catch that rat
Then you’re daft as a bat
But you’re human

If you locked all your doors
Due to Texas Chainsaws
Shunned the sea after ‘Jaws’
That’s just human

But if you, unlike me
Didn’t cry in E.T.
Then I hereby decree
You ain't human
