Re-Installing Integrity In America

Once the dream was to make America the shining light of the world
a caring and compassionate country with opportunities for all
but after questioning the veracity of the election in America by the sham pretender since then this nation has endured the corrupt, the ugly, the distrusted who have put a damp on long held dreams of millions.

A neophyte failed businessman/politician with a narcissistic bent
of a five year old, looking for a king's crown, his fatuous transmutation has proven to be the culprit blocking his own way but denial is months away but
this dream may be reality in the making.

We who understand the damage done know are the ones
who must remove the stench he has created and the pain he inflicted
while hell bent trying to annihilate our Democratic Republic and his intent on
changing justice in America to save himself.

American's Constitution and the Bill of Rights are the hope of the world
but this administration peddles lies for control but honesty chokes them,
integrity strangles their foundations and freedoms they profess to value.
Their insidious mindset will not prevail and definitely will be challenged.

We are being devoured by manipulative small minds; their indifference,
bigotry and the all-mighty, all-consuming, deceptive profits seems to be what we are becoming. I can't believe we have been overcome with greed
and what it represents, but are we really, at heart, really that?

Will Democracy, Truth, Justice continue to be our guide, our conscience?
Will American integrity survive the current onslaught of verbal inanities?
America was great before this charlatan came unto the scene
misleading his followers and instilling his divisive absurdities.

America was great long before this pretender stepped on these shores.
It will continue to be great even greater, but these last few years he has fed lies of con to his followers derailing that trajectory of greatness
yet there are those who will follow this false Messiah's words of hatred.

White supremacists, bigots, genocidal maniacs with the mistaken idea
that this country is for them to take have a shocker awaiting them,
America will never be ruled solely by punk-pink-orange colored wannabe's
hellbent on destroying indigenous peoples of our world and our country.

Covert modern State wiles mock Greek democracy
Must People cast votes to elect block Parties
Athenians all took part in vox populi

Founding Fathers of Great America Party
Chief Washington revolution guaranties
Covert modern State wiles mock Greek democracy

Corsican blood runs blue in French royalty
Scottish rites oath govern secret warranties
Athenians all took part in vox populi

Politicos Police legal fraternity
Avarice cruelty sexualities
Covert modern State wiles mock Greek democracy

No vote counts for individuality
All is grist to Big Money incongruities
Athenians all took part in vox populi

Will Grand Architect of Universality
Show his true face from behind inanities
Covert modern State wiles mock Greek democracy
Athenians all took part in vox populi

Rain Diary-Part2

1. It’s not the rains so much as its
Absence that’s raining today
To feel an absence some times
Is to feel a pricking presence
Be it anything. Rain or love
Humaneness or government planning
Their voids are not mere inanities.
This is not my complaint. It is
But everyone’s predicament.

2. Today’s rains I think are unchanged
From the beginnings of earth
Is it why it is so cold
Is it really old. Why is not
A new river getting born.
High tech rains flood choked roads
Gleaming cars and sludgy slums are
Both under water in the metro.

3. Nineth day rains just forget to rain
It makes me forget too. I forget
Its lyric. Its rhyme, I forget
My head, my freezing blood.
As a cloudburst of gloom I land
Where life’s struggle has turned.
More intense for want of sunshine.
We want sunshine in paths. More than
In the insides. Whether it is
The offices, service providers
Judiciary or law enforcers
More of sunshine is now needed
In corridors, in leading-in paths

4. My opaque vision has by now seen
The enormity of a down pour
And the inadequacy of a shower.
I now seek to discern with new eyes
The transparent world beyond,
The countless droplets , simple
But elemental wonders
Like those who toil in farms
Quarries, highways, mines and oceans
I no more want the enormity
Of a complicated deluge.
Have I not waited enough
To get a water connection.

A Design of No Wit

A big bang has occurred
The boogie of creation recurred!

On a cord in a womb,
Life revolves around it-
Or a lover’s tomb,
The mourner rotates around it.

This gyre spins from habit
It’s a design without wit.
My tongue wags profanities?
Then explain your inanities!

If love is not a gain,
Then, why its loss a pain?

Premium Member Questions For a Bully

What is it that makes you so unpleasant
Is brusqueness and lack of tact your totem,
Or, are you eaten up with anger inside
Feel you must treat everyone like a crumb?

Why are your communication skills lacking
So that you must resort to disgusting inanities?
No wonder girlfriends have sent you packing,
Not willing to tolerate your gross profanities.

Why do you treat others with utter disdain?
Does it pleasure you to see someone weep?
Why can’t you reconsider, perhaps abstain?
You are only bearable when you’re asleep!

Someday you will need help from a friend
Someone to come to your rescue, indeed,
When you look around no one will pretend
They’re there for you in your time of need.

Uncaring, and full of venomous antagonism
The best of all words to describe you is “ugly,”
You’ve spent your whole life in hooliganism
And you are a nauseous, off-putting bully.

Pretty Insanities

Feathers torn from the gaping napes of wind began to dwindle and resist in spite of the gravity crushing tsunami.

Trapped in a facade of impersonating flowing rain every feather dived to their unplanned descent.

All drowning in the nightmarish truth of actually being smothered in tears of a blue eyed-giant as they fell from the sky of that big blue eye’s, dead decapitated face.
A face severed on a head that hid a heavenly chateaus inside a false impersonated globe forever resting among the stars.

Inside housed all kinds of dimensional beings rarely ever seen but all known to possess legendary archaic features.
They mastered all the realms and lastly rule our skies.
They are cold warriors of combat- handled by their deadly grace, poisonous envy, blinding halos, and suffocating wings…

Oh such undeniably divine things!

First plucked from you, then stolen from me!

A conscious belief known only by those who wish to remain unseen

as we become the common theory of all your pretty inanities.

Mixed Culture Stream

The impetuosity of inanities
Life spills, deals and fills
In tones and zones of vanities
Raised to a crescendo on hills and bills

On the beleaguered bottom
Society sinks into new perspectives
Derived from the atom
Devoid of subjective directives

Issued at the behest of power corridors
In lumps and stumps of mispronounced announcements
Trembling and rambling at defiant doors
Terrified and petrified at pronouncements

Scoffing at millennials
Accused of fussing over instant answers
To complex matters in denials
Over layers upon layers

Overlaying transitions from entrenched traditions
Assimilated and formatted over centuries
Of rigid implementations and regimentations
Too inflexible to consider modern luxuries

Striving to supplant
Commands and demands
In a slant
Teeming with reprimands

Queering the pitch
Making the foundation fusion task harder
To switch
From the tradition defender

To an accommodation of values of old
Held in high esteem
And new values so bold
They create a new mixed value cream within a mixed culture stream.

Wonderment

Whispering
thoughts to one's idlest fancy,
Imagining feelings
to one's innermost soul.
Babbling inanities,
crying insanities,
Wondering, wandering
alone and alone.

Where does it take one,
where does it want one,
where does it seduce one
along the strange source
of forbidden mysteries,
of unexplored paths,
of untouched feelings,
of ecstasies unknown,
or unthought of.

Where will it end?

Anxious Ardor

They talk about not taking it too far,
when first meeting someone.
Arbitrary limits to thoughts set the bar,
setting inanities, falsehoods, to be spun.

All are so afraid of coming on too strong,
most definitely including me.
Feeling a spark quickly shouldn't be wrong,
should even be a goal, far as I can see.

I let the hook-up culture hijack my mind,
made me see all in a lesser light.
Someone awesome I hardly hoped to find,
some redress here I seek, with what I write.

After so long with zero real connections,
this is alien ground.
'Dating rules' shouldn't dictate affections,
by procedure I don't wish to be bound.

Ever done something, and knew right away
it wasn't a good move?
I've done that plenty, could promptly say
of my own action I didn't approve.

But that didn't happen when I met you,
not by a far cry.
It was the reverse, if I speak true,
at the end of the night hated to say goodbye.

Your grayish green eyes said "hi"
before so did that charming smile.
And what, even more, kept me flying high,
was that we laughed the whole while.

I also enjoyed your friends very much,
and especially your wit.
We both felt good, told each other such,
and I won't deny magic when I see it.

Out of that aforementioned fear,
it'll likely be awhile before this you see.
I'd rather not feel that one can be *too* sincere,
but won't risk whatever this may be.

All said and done
Nigeria is the giant of Africa
Though currently lost in a maze of confusion
The giant is on a journey of self-realization
The journey of self discovery
Shedding its skin of criminal enterprise
Preparatory to launching
into orbit of true colossus
That destiny has thrust upon her
Rapists currently taking advantage
Of her lust for inanity
Be warned and retrace your steps
For calamity awaits every partaker
In her current misadventures
For the sleeping giant is at the dawn of its wakefulness

Staring Death Down

Here I am
having stared down death
listening
to this purile crap
trapped by nosy neighbours
trading inanities
without a thought
to my recent survival
of a massive heartattack.

Lungs On Fire

Lungs on Fire
By Kevin Robey
June 18, 2013

My lungs don’t fill
They suffocate
Relax, sit still
My mind debates

Forget this all
I will not stay
So will you call,
For one more day?

This tortured soul
Will not rewind
To times I hold
My mind in line

It’s over now
I never pined
To look ahead
Or turn back time

[chorus]
I’m sitting where the good and bad collide
Where it comes and goes like bloody tides
It seems I’ll never be free of pent up misery
Unhook the lure and toss me back to the sea

Set my lungs on fire
With desire and chaos
Release my calming sea
To tidal wave inanities

The only way I live
Is on the edge of sin
The lies I will outlive
Can penetrate my skin

This is the only road
I’ve ever known alone
I’ll pay back what I owe
Walk through the great unknown

Take my hand
One more time
Our final stand
The perfect crime

[chorus 2]
I’m sitting where the good and bad collide
But now bright eyes connect and realign
Throw this pent up misery back to the sea
And hold you close, the very best part of me

Traveler Without Rucksack

Traveler Without Rucksack
By Sy Roth

Aloneness, the traveler without rucksack
Beats the miles into your feet
A bare necessity for the nomad
For there are morns and sinking suns to see
In the endless desert of our lives.

The arroyo quickly fills,
Water tearing at its sides
Soon only a vestige of itself
Leaving a vacuity within.

It lingers there like a smug cat
Who only hisses at your approach,
Razor-sharp teeth a frightening calligraphy
Of life well-worn along its edges
Slogging through unshared moments
Pining for those who made
The last attempt to bamboozle Beelzebub.

We are all the omnivores who came before us
A marching parade of victims of inanities
Searching for silent answers
To the mystery on a congress of slime
That metastasizes into beings of promise
Who lose it ultimately in the miasma of time.

Build a brocade of flesh
Soon to be assimilated into nothingness
Await the temporal
For the intemperate readies to swallow you whole
No Bhagavad Gita guides you,
No ethical core to take you anywhere
Except to revel in a morn
And settle into a final, waning sun.

Sunshine Shone On Masseurs

Cage the rage you envisage
At the slightest intervention
Your mood swing fails to assuage
When folly in full bloom springs into action

To boost the small ego that looms large
In response to the uncontrolled wrath
Your short fuse unleashes in a rage
Whose momentum galumphs onto the path

Littered with glass shards
Reaped from bad blood to your head
Reeled off when to wisdom bards
You fail to listen instead

Pandering to inanities
With neither rhymes nor reasons
Blown out of proportion to embrace vanities
Spirited out of prisons

Where by dint of their mammoth magnitudes
They lay caged to prevent their devastation
From breaking free, releasing moribund monsters whose deleterious attitudes
Grew increasingly worrisome to the stable station

Where you fled upon release from the mental asylum
Isolated from innocent lives and their wives
You swilled vats of cheap grade rum
Fielding and yielding to vicissitudes of knives

Whose glint on double blades
In serene sunshine on the surface of brine
Opted to shred to pieces jars of lemonades
Manufactured in clandestine kitchens in the shrine

Desecrated by your Trojan horse
That came undone
With neither coercion nor force
When your favourite colour dun

Drew roars of disapproval
From art connoisseurs
Whose absolute approval
Found favour among misguided masseurs.

Common Sense Casserole

Common sense, larger than life
Encapsulated in minds that appreciate sanity’s value
To actualize and revitalize purposes more precious than strife
As people of goodwill enable diverse dreams to come true.

Common sense, invaluable ingredient
Couched in determined discourse
To set matters on the right gradient
And facilitate fruitful inter-personal intercourse.

Common sense, gravity glue
Fastening faces, aces and maces at variance
Endeavouring to validate value
Over impertinence, insolence and arrogance.

Common sense, pivot in human interaction
Immersed in templates teeming with opportunities
To promote quotes and votes for mutual benefaction
Despite chasms of infirm inanities and indignities.
