Best Hold On Poems
When you stagger under the heavy weight of life,
There will hardly be anyone to ease your grief.
But there is always God as your anchor and fort
He is there ever gracious and ready to support.
When you make up your mind to reach God,
You’ll see a chasm separating you and the Lord.
Your legs may grow weary as you begin to walk.
Hurdles and impediments, your path may block.
Don’t be discouraged, please hold on to this anchor
As in chilly winter, for a warm day, we all hanker.
The opulence of this world, can never fill your heart.
It is in God you will find life’s whole comfort.
When sorrow strikes and life turns utterly bleak,
And in every trial of life, it’s Him that you should seek.
Into His caring hands, your life’s reins, you give.
He is enough to solve all your problems, do believe!
He’s always waiting for me – he’s as impatient as can be
The car engine is running - I shout ‘Darling I’m coming’
But we don’t need to be with mum until three!

Hold on to precious memories
Of the special times you had
Bring them to mind
When your life is dark and sad
The dark storm clouds will lift
And bring a smile to your face
Hold on to this moment
It is one you should embrace
Looking back over photographs
Of loved ones who you so dearly miss
Precious times together
They are no longer here for you to kiss
Hold them in your heart
You will never be apart

Take my hand, holding on tight.
Why fear when I am there?
Through blistering summer
and blizzards of winter,
feel my handclasp, don’t loosen your grip.
Scale the heights along with me....
Don’t look back, climb on and on!

i tell these dry leaves
do not get forced by the wind
enjoy the cool breeze

Lying still
Sans motion
Clouded sky
Heavy emotion
Starless Night
Painful separation
Trying to hold on
Stagnant life
She has moved on
Precious memories
Everyday delusion
Burning flame
Blinded vision
Trying to hold on
I took a moment and penned this song
I have been waiting to say it for a long
I am trying to hold on
Yes, I am weak
Never was strong
Just wanted to be with you all my life long
I am trying to hold on
Hold on
Steadfastly to
Hope and faith in tough times;
Love, when you find it, or if it...
Finds you

Life hanging by the thread..
Plagued by intermittent sadness
Falling into the darkness..
A black void..
A bottomless pit continues..
Searching for answers in a maze of fury..
Hold on..
A roller coaster ride of twists and turns..
Ups and downs
A spiral of chaos..
Almost faster then the speed of light
Doubts lingering like stale perfume
Saturated in deep confusion..
A jigsaw puzzle awaiting to be solved..
Hold on..
Spinning out of control..
Love withheld carries the pain within..
Awaiting whirlwinds of hope..
To comfort the soul..
Had reached the top of the roller coaster..
Rapidly speeding down..
Held the force of life..
Of which is love..
Love now explodes..
Embodied by love
As it caresses the spirit..
Hold on..
No more..
Darkness dissipates..
A void is full of grace..
Beaming with brightness..
Light and love surrounds..
Hold on..
No more..
Acknowledge..
Let it go..
As people start to age wisdom gains an edge
Regrets wish to reassess to honor old pledge
Memories once sour, clamor to turn a page
Wisdom gains an edge as people start to age
Truth that once was remains the guiding light
Stars that twinkled then still sparkle bright
Departures from veracity mount a bold pause
Remains the guiding light, truth that once was
Past manifests anew when future looks bleak
Reminiscing old revelry when grief tries to peek
Cherishing pleasant thoughts wishing to renew
When future looks bleak, past manifests anew
Hold on to prized ways when life gives a test
Conquests aren't easy when aiming for the best
Doctrines beholding virtue are worthy of praise
When life give a test, hold on to prized ways

NOTE:
This poem is a Swap Quatrain.
When the storms arrive and skies are gray
When wind takes hope and there’s dismay
Remember sun finds a way
To shine again some day
Still make time for play
Find peace and stay
Dance and sway
Convey
Pray

Hold all my calls
I’m by your side
I’ll hold your hand
You’re not alone
I’ll hold you tight
We won’t lose hope
Holding our breath
We’ll stick together
And we’ll hold on
Just you and I
No one can hold a candle to you
With better days ahead
Hold on tight to me
Do not despair
We’ll hold it all together
I’m right here by your side

I hold on
to every word you say
hanging on your promises
like my life depends on them
I let my soul
plunge into the abyss of your love
and with every heartbeat
I reminisce your tender words
I hold on
to the feeling of trust
where everything else is obscured
and all that matters is you
I let my ears listen
only to the whisper of your words
the only voice that stirs my heart
the only sound that thrills me
I hold on
till your sound trails away
till all is quiet
and all that is left is your shadow
and only then will I say
that I lived
and I loved .
Hold on my brothers
throw away your fears
tomorrow's laughter
would replace your tears!*

God help us all!
Things will not always go our way
We know this fact to be true…
so may we be blessed when bad things happen
we have someone to hold on to.
Hold On
Hold on to loved ones and show that you care
Hold on to your principles, those you wish to share
Hold on to your dignity, when events are not so fair
Hold on to those memories that can never compare
Hold on to your inner strength with all of your might
Hold on to your will that makes you stand and fight
Hold on to your emotions, those that cause you fright
Hold on to your empathy for those not treated right
Hold on to your inquisitiveness to seek what is true
Hold on to your sensibilities, share your point of view
Hold on to your common sense that you always knew
Hold on to the possibilities of what may come anew
Hold on in all your strife
Hold on for dear life
