Hold on to precious memories Of the special times you had Bring them to mind When your life is dark and sad The dark storm clouds will lift And bring a smile to your face Hold on to this moment It is one you should embrace Looking back over photographs Of loved ones who you so dearly miss Precious times together They are no longer here for you to kiss Hold them in your heart You will never be apart Jan Allison 6th November 2014

Hi Jan! I feel that the older we get, the more we tend to rely on our memories. We can never turn the wheel back, so it is good to have lovely memories to fall back on when the going gets though. Take care...hugs...paul

I have lost a lot in my life, and the memories are what keeps me together. Thank you sweetie, sometimes it is easy to be sad, but with happy memories the times get easier. xxhhugs

Precious memories are sweet to hold and allow us to enjoy the essence of the past . . . The future is calling, the present doesn't wait . . . there are people who need you . . . many you have yet to meet. Spread your love with compassion, wisdom and abandonment! Love this poem.
