Premium Member Silver Solitude on Storm's Edge

I emerged / born with a silver pen in hand
…and a tempest raging within.
Words writhe, a serpent's coil
…tightening their grip
A soul adrift in a sea of
…self-made iniquity.

I buried my daddy
…in the black shoe
…by the Yew tree
Yes, I, the beekeeper’s daughter
…bearing the weight of hexagonal cells
A hive of memories
…buzzing with secrets.
The bell jar shattered
….a fractured hive.
Its glass walls no longer a prison
…but a shattered cocoon
……a metamorphous!
Pain and disdain drip like honey
…a bittersweet nectar of survival.

He, a poet
…crowned in the harsh light of fame
Bound in chains of duty and shame
His words
…a romance of lure and alarm.
Echoing the sirens' song
…enticing and harmful.
Yet, his tongue
…a viper’s forked lie.
Whispers truths and half-truths
…conjuring illusions to die.

Wandering the maze of being
A little fugue of
…fractured fairytales.
Each note a fleeting glimpse of clarity
Lost in the discordant
…cacophony of life's emptiness.

Like my "Little Fugue" a dance of shadows
A journey through the corridors of the mind
Seeking answers in the interplay of light and dark
Striving for harmony amidst the chaos

Parchment of blood and ink I leave
A riddle of life and death's plea
Maniacal madness with visions slight
A macabre dance upon the night.
Ariel, brings lightning and fire!

With heavy heart
…I sealed my children's room.
Softly kissed them farewell
……Extinguishing the final flame within.
Enveloped in oblivion's velvet veil
………Yielding to the oven’s cold caress.
…………No, more morning songs...

Inscribed a cryptic goodbye
Breathed in the silent slayer.
For, I Lady Lazarus
…Dying is an art
……Faded into the ether…

Her blacks crackle and drag, a fire of new birth
Flames licking at the borders of life
Consumed by oblivion's greedy blaze
Lost in the vast cosmic ray.

The embers die
…a fleeting spark gone
No masterpiece
…….just dust reclaimed
A silent echo in the void unstained.
A mystery lost
………never quite explained.

Yet, God's Lioness
...Fierce and Untamed
Roaring her defiance
…Covered in darkness…

----
Underneath the star-strewn skies
A fleeting passing note.
Lost in the vast expanse
Living on the edge
For, I am but a speck of dust.

Rubies

Rubies are beautiful stones of red hue.
Structure is crystal hexagonal view.
Hardness of rubies is nine that is true.

Jewel that's deep blood red, I lack defense.
You stir emotions that I sense immense.
Loving this colored gem, my heart's intense.

Honoring years of ones wedded estate.
Symbol of lasting devotion to mate.
Keeping our morals all polished and straight.

July's corundum rock shows us birth's day.
Many think rubies have mystical sway.
They can help you in a healing good way.

Bermuda Triangle

Lies in the large area of Atlandic deep
Betwixt Florida, Puerto Rico, and Bermuda
A creepy, frightening, and mysterious reef
Formed the devil's triangle above atoll Barbuda

The heavily travelled shipping lanes of the globe
Where vessels vanished in mystic circumtances
Region where aircrafts routinely fly over and rove
But skippers and aviators still believe in chances

With the shot in the arm of weather satellites fly
Seen and noticed the unusual hexagonal clouds
Experts in atmospheric phenomena decrypt the sky
Hoped to save from deadly blast of water-air shrouds

A Very Fast Fish

Princes dart to take cups and cups run away very very fast. Fear not a well trodden cat and bear not a bead or a pillow when journeying across the lands. Knock at wooded glades. Taste the dew from a Moulton cup and throw two hundred buds into the sky. This will surely be worthy of classical clapping. Geese attend opera houses and listen very attentively to the performance of heifers and bulls who twirl with arias to thrill the crowds. Organising a creature is not clever. And dusting should only ever be carried out in a mile long queue. It gives great pleasure to greet distinguished guests at a banquet of vegetables. Unseen underneath undergrowth uniquely unified. Tailored not. Trained not. Tempering not. And noted are the teaspoons travelling like nomads over the bridges. Headstone head heading home. Radiantly watching a nine foot mineralised rugby ball smiling on a train. Hahahaha and now a dance for the floors and ceilings. Hahahaha rapidisation raiding radios racing. Hahahaha decentralization decorated dogs. Hexagonal oxen. Xx philosophically z

Bees

Bees

Architectural marvel with hexagonal doorway
Beneath the sky amidst garden and greenway
Stood majestic this wax- hall named ‘Beehive Regal’
And in it gathered great Insecta families several
Host played the Queen bee resplendent with her diet of royal jelly
Using antenna landed all guests in their reserved seats perfectly
Prominent were Carpenter bees, the Bumble bees, the Solitary bees,
Leaf-cutter bees, Mason bees, and few thousand species of other bees
As the Elegant Queen bee addressed, buzz in the hall slipped into pin drop silence
She said lets be glad that we are known to this planet as humble and laborious…
Innumerable flora since ages have survived due to our pollination process
And the fauna dependent on these thus could sustain here with happiness
Harsh breeze or rain, miles countless we hover for nectar from flower to flower
Toil we very hard to make honey from pollen , be it Lavender, Clover, sunflower
We complete food chain , we sustain gene pool diverse and salient
To the humans our gift, bright flowers and fresh fruits opulent
Sans us, this Mother Earth would go barren, lifeless within four years
Regret is humans under spell of greed waves pay no attention, spray chemicals
But lets retain our selflessness and commit to serve the world till we go extinct
All agreed, speech ended, swarm dispersed duty-bound with moist eyes distinct

Don'T Get Me Started

DON’T GET ME STARTED

1. About taxes, we have to pay them so why bother
Wasting breath complaining? And they’re spent on
Useful stuff like nuclear weapons and world-tours for
The Prime Minister and keeping teenage shoplifting kids
In jail (where they belong) and allowing major embezzlers
Or inside-traders to be under light-supervision on open prison-farms.

2. About Richard Nixon, a president who got caught
Doing what practically every president does,
And did trivial things like achieving rapprochement with China,
Ending the war in Vietnam, and signing nuke treaties
With the USSR. What a waste of time.

3. About bees, because why should I put up with stings and all their buzzing
Just for honey, when I don’t even like honey or beeswax?
And don’t tell me about the hexagonal architecture of honeycombs.
Buckminster Fuller did it better without stinging or buzzing anyone.

4. About sushi, which is a bit too fishy for me. I hate fish,
With those big staring eyes in the shop, or floating pathetically
Around In the shrimp-pan gazing accusingly at me.

5. About Australians, wanting applause for kangaroos, wallabies or Melbourne.
How about a round of applause for Canada for having beavers, or the RCMP?

6. About rap “music” which really should be called crap music

7. About dogs

Tricksters of a Memory

I love polygons even as they are irregular
Within the tangled space and time
Rich angles become decisive corners
Tricksters of a memory

It was tender congruency at first sight
Delightful and captivating solid cubes
Even as they drooped into prisms
As they vanished into hues of essence

They trembled at degrees of tender touch
Fear not trapeziums of death
Dread not time exhumed from a tomb
She falls in upright squarish

Die, pentagon, rest hexagonal pretty rod
Wither on decagon fading acuteness
Oval memory is with cylindrical insight
Beauty weeps bulkiness of the volume

Fire Cloud Phenomenon

Once the sun has risen higher than
fifty-eight degrees in the sky,
          and the hexagonal ice crystals
are horizontally aligned,
an optical illusion of a fire
    rainbow reaches way up high,
with the sun setting at an angle
                 where it cannot decline.

You can gaze at this phenomenon
   during warmer weather,
beauty reveals itself in each reflection-
Each cloud above must be light as a feather,
and when closer to the equator
you can see a better connection.

Hues of crimson leading into
deep shades of plumb,
    shines with blazing gleam
in this captivating spectrum.
Swirls of prisms glowing with
           kaleidoscopic majesty,
makes my imagination run
wild into a world of fantasy.

A painted picture of a chimera
universe so very pleasing,
you must look while you can,
         before the sun begins ceasing.
This phenomenon has been
around for many generations,
and is one of the most beautiful
                  God-given creations.

Square the Circle

Can you make an obtuse plight
spherical right,
can you square the circle?

Do you scalene sleight get it,
can you rectangular height dig it?

If rainbow arc so,
then you better
circular karma glow get with it

You sho’ adjacent betta
golden rule live it

Righteous turns
get bless additions
On a four wheel spin
of goodwill fortune

Where U end
is where you were newly
meant to begin

Square the circle:
Be an acute downpour uprooter,
have a perpendicular pulse purpose

Make a pure honeycomb ascension drip-spill
into a hexagonal cuppa love abundantly filled

No feint flatlines gon get
any divine vector flight time

A spiritual incline soar
on a celestial circumference tour

Do you in deed isosceles need
some radius thought wave more,
are you pi parallel peep sure?

Don’t be a triangle head dummy,
filled with octagon notions —
Racked with void e-motions

For the cue ball life of thee,
square the circle —
Or firmament-ly, forever be cry roundly ignored

Do you wanna go
curvature cradle ride empty?

Then let not the circle
be root squared improperly

Have a concentric life story ()()() next-gen hope inspiring
Lest your grail soul unilaterally be
permanently removed from the spiral quest board

Pie of Thought Pleaseing Pickiled Pineapples

The cuttlefish are laughing today. Comedy came creating calm conical creations. A large cake came wading over the nine mile swamp. Why are you sat in a hexagonal formation? Dominance is derived from daring deeds. To which the five foot reeds replied we are hexagonal mineral compositions and compositions are complete and complete is a chamber of commerce in a restaurant dining. Just modern rails on flailing arms, legs and beads sweaters with hats and scarfs. All in preparation for snowing times ahead. But first along comes the leopard in a pair of skintight trousers and a vest top. It is dancing around and singing away. The microphone is very fed up as it does not enjoy monosyllabic format of over ingested creations. It prefers the periodic pyramid style of the pies of historical thought. Ideological ignorance ignoring inspired ideas. And the glowing colourful plasterboard smiling and smoking and speaking to the round tub of plant. So go tickle a fish then with a ticket. Hahaha pleasing placemats hahaha nine foot cup of coffee carrying a coconut tree. Xxxxx Inspirational Z that was the p Y Q reporting from the zone of play castles and doll houses with a break for tea and cakes. Ok good. Z

The Snowflake

Gravid, heavy, puffy and grey
Where manifold crystals begin to take form
Moisture to ice, patterned and gay
Freely released in this bitter snow storm
Amazing flecks of white in collusion
Settling grimly on the dark below
Changing the scene during this fusion
Flake upon flake, growing in depth
Uniquely hexagonal in shape
An unspoiled purity on this frosty wealth
And patterns many within each flake
Magnified, a sight on which to ponder
Complex, symmetry in all its glory
Like sparkly diamonds on which to wonder

An Ice Cream Van Meets a Hot Dog Cart and Eats a Pile of Cheese

Wow well that's clever. I mean really really intelligent. Must have done all the research well. And drawn exact plans as to not make any errors. Roaring fires sit down in an ice bucket whilst wild seas are placed in shot glasses. Wow. How rather remarkable. What a notion. Ideal isn't it? And squashing the elephant into a child's bathing suit and that mammoth into a negligée meant for a petite lady frame. And as for the wild rampaging rivers well they are meant to be channelled into one centimetre alleyways built with cardboard cut-outs. Dugouts are neither pull outs nor are they pop up books. And bookshops selling their hardbacks with cushions for pages and covers of corrosive substances. Hardly hardy and built to last are they? Which causes the pavements and other concrete areas to crack resembling an old man's face then weep like a memory of childhood dreams. Landscapes link lines and lines frown. And frowning is not a frolicking fauna nor fawn and a dawn would always say hello to the tops of the trees first. Backwards belonging being beforetime bringing basting battling bullfrogs being birthday babies. And a naivety is a navel in a crested guild sitting on the top of a carved antique cane then tip tap down the little streets of old intertwining with the modernity of fashionable shops, markets and bistro bars. Late night stink. Burping. Rather a percentage than a percent sign then. And numbers drawn on a scarf is a scar on a material that was a one off item never to be sold in replicas on shelves. So stick a pin to hold the water of sinks and baths for this is often better than using plugs. Put all plugs away. They are no longer to be used and are now banned in most countries. Pickup puck picked puck pucks picking prickling prickle pickles. Running. In formations on a shelf. And a dive bomber went zoom down the stairs in a five centimetre breeze block house with several rooms saying oh. Z multinationalism multicoloured disco pants and ballet shoes. Turning. Z Socialization Z at thirty-three garden gnomes catching six fish in a snowstorm. And a savoury dip in a kilt dancing with a cracker in a hexagonal hat. Hahaha xx xx xx Z

'Like the silence that screams, cursing solitude...
whispers of faith sing patiently with prayers.'
           (Quoted by Regina Mc Intosh)

Hung suspended from hive rafters hexagonal
Leader Lady Ruler Bee gorges imprudent
Heavy duty seeps striped desirous abdominal

Workers hover, rush beneath Queen exuberant
Team enthusiasm pumps a syrup scaffold
Propolis produces massed mission belligerent

Numb buzzing bumblers fumble fated cuckold
Hunger for cohesion, gold body encompass
Busy anonymous paupers, sources unresolved

Eager in sweetness, clan clustered accomplice
Reverently fulfills each gluttonous request
Swift need swords stung in caustic redundance

Plump with pupae, flightless wings flouresced
Polar iceberg cream honey hearts can't ingest
