Premium Member Two Poet Pen Pals Having Fun

My pen pal and I both had a passion for poetry books
The city library was thought of. We met in her nooks.
Shush! Shush! We heard from a librarian, truly staid.
With face of a rooster, we knew she was an old maid.

Two pen pals forever, we only had one day to meet.
We knew it would be fun, endearing, exceedingly sweet.
We ditched the library, my forever pen pal and me.
We headed northeast, where two terrific poets should be.

We picked out a spot where literary mermaids danced and sang.
Faeries and brownies came along with a hull-a-balloo band.
Dictionary gargoyles got frisky, and gave us some sass.
We rolled our eyes, ignoring them, and their syllable grass.

It was a fine time. Two poet pen pals having a blast.
Collaborating hard, ideas in spurts, and real fast.
And that is how we two pen pals finally met, and had some real fun.
If you doubt this incredible tale, you are not the only one.

Accept, the chastity and understanding of the spirit
A life in strict celibacy, ignore their sexual feelings
Frivolity, a path that leads straight to hell
Has God given them everything for nothing?
Disobedient nuns at the bar ... Irish Whiskey, thanks

Having Fun...3 Limericks!!

The Fellow From Frankfurt

There was an old man from Kentucky
At his age he still would get lucky
The old ladies would swoon
As he used the spittoon
He was spry as a boy and quite plucky!

Scary Mary

There once was a woman named Mary
Who was known for her legs being hairy
She did not own a razor
But this didn't faze her
She would just braid her shins and act scary!

How Ya'll Doin'?

There was a young man from Savannah
Who spoke in a quite genteel mannah
Honey dripped from his mouth
Course he was from the South
Only one heard him right was his nana

Common cat cautiously came
Coloring commas, a copycat’s game
Cauliflower and collard’s cawing is lame
Cohesive cooperation collects copious name.

Premium Member Are We Having Fun Yet

You promised again..
That you're a new man
'Things would be different
This time

You said...for sure
You're over her
You're gonna have some fun
Tonight

We went to a club
Her name came up
That's when it all
Hit the fan

Now you're getting paler
Drunk as a sailor
Is this a part
Of the plan

Chorus:

Are we having fun yet
Is this painting the town red
Isn't that what you said
A six pack ago
Shouldn't we be laughing loud
Instead of you passing out
Are things looking up now
Down here on the floor

I think you need help
You don't look well
Rolling around...
By the bar

You're here for the night
You ain't gonna drive
I doubt if you can...
Find the car

I must admit...
When I see you like this
I think you're not...
Very smart

But hey, what do I know
I go where you go
After all.....
I'm your heart!

Are we having fun yet
Is this painting the town red
Isn't that what you said
A six pack ago
Shouldn't we be laughing loud
Instead of you passing out
Are things looking up now
Down here on the floor!!

Having Fun With Numbers

1 and 1 are playing in the sun
2 and 2 they don't have a clue
3 and 3 are running free
4 and 4 are at the back door
5 and 5 sure feel alive
6 and 6 are up to there tricks
7 and 7 looks like there in heaven
8 and 8 was just to late
9 and 9 they got out of line
10 and 10 want to do it again
11 and 11 went just like 7 and 7
12 and 12 are happy with there selves
13 and 13 can't be seen
14 and 14 are sure looking lean
15 and 15 are always in between
16 and 16 are being obscene
17 and 17 must think there queen
18 and 18 are needing caffeine
19 and 19 are back in routine
20 and 20 has had plenty

Having Fun With Idioms

I want to tell some
things that will
Describe sayings
with fun and thrill
Here's the ones I
can remember
Stuck inside my mind
forever

The early bird gets
the worm
A breakfast food
that likes to squirm

A bird in the hand
is worth two in the
bush
Hold it gently or it
will squoosh

A penny saved is a
penny earned
A lesson some folks
haven't learned

It's a blessing in
disguise
Is hidden treasure
before our eyes

A leopard who can't
change his spots
Wears matching shoes
with polka dots

A taste of your own
medicine
Is revenge for all
your sin

Bite off more than
you can chew
Will make you choke,
turning you blue

Every cloud has a
silver lining
Keep good thoughts
so pure and shining

Getting up on wrong
side of the bed
Will lead to falls
and bumps on head

You are what you eat
So make it something
really sweet

Driving someone up
the wall
Needs a car that's
really small

That's my list of
idioms
I hope they turned
out really fun

Premium Member Time Flies When You'Re Having Fun

Louder than the silence
Heard beyond my heart’s echo,
Darker than the shadows
Secreted where feelings bled
Through the delicate colors
Hues of hopeful, fresh
Young faces in delicate light,
Smiles alive, aware – so bright

Louder than the stillness,
The hush beneath the calm,
Quieting the heartbreak
Feelings bleeding through
The dark, where an echo glistened,
Calling for the earlier times,
The breathless moments
History, flowing in the thoughts
Reminiscing, feelings – flowing
On rivers of childishness, hesitating
To believe –

Wrinkles, gray hair – tired eyes
Who never twinkle, delight
Gone beyond the starry skies,
Leaving only the whisper of a breathless
Moment when I spoke like life
Would never pass me by, like I would
Be the wonder who would never
See the years taking me beyond the
Hesitant feelings into the future,
Where I would leave my youth behind,
Smiling to the truth who would reveal
Time that had left me with only
A passing memory, old photos, a yesterday…
When I shoulds seen it comin’

I like to go and party and have a good time with the boys
We raise a little hell and we make a little noise
When it's half past closing time
I'll give my girl a call
And say, "Honey, come and get me.
It's too damn far to crawl."
She says, "Don't hold your breath.
Better still, hold it until you hurt.
If I see you on the road tonight
You'll have a tire track on your shirt."
Sorry, sweetie. Didn't mean to make you mad.
I was only out having fun.
She said, "Now it's my turn to have some too.
If I can only find the gun."
If you shoot me, you'll miss me
So, please don't act so strange.
She said, "I'll only miss you once.
Then I'll fire again at closer range."
In the morning I felt woozy
Said I guess I'll stay in bed.
She said, "I'll help you feel better.
I'll wrap this bat across your head."
Here it is another day
And my work is almost done.
I could go straight on home
But I think I'll stop and have some fun.

cool calico cat could come and coddle cuddle cautioned Cali’s cousin

comical. Calico cat commandeered the cabin and café, a considerable
conquest, considering the coolness of Cali, Carmen and Cameron.

Just Having Fun

bills and more bills same old story
just another busy day
i missed the bus and i got no money
well not enough to catch the train
if i leave now i will be late i might get off with a verbal warning
but who cares now the sun is out time to play no bitter dawning

i used to think every one would give a dam
id see the dark cloulds moving accross the sun
hussel and hurry of the city as the day ends without leaving me in tears
and as the dark clouds move across the sun
im kicking back in the park just having fun

We Were Only Having Fun

Her lips tasted like lemon squeeze
Her tongue, like cotton candy
Two beautiful girls, the birds and bees
Curiosity would be set free

No matter why
What's done is done
Adrenaline sky high
We were only having fun

French tip fingers
Lashes, thick and lush
Sweet pea fragrance lingers
An unfamiliar touch

Shimmer, glitter, glisten
Giggles from peppermint breath
Discovered what we'd been missing
No un answered questions left

No matter why
What's done is done
Adrenaline sky high
We were only having fun

Sprinkles, icing, cherry
Gluttony of lust
She took on the shape of a fairy
Releasing magic dust

Her hands, petite like mine
No need for GPS
Eating straight from the vine
Of delightful naughtiness

No matter why
What's done is done
Adrenaline sky high
We were only having fun
