Best Harsh Poems
Everyone is so uptight.
I just came to drink and they all wanna fight.
Some sixfoot seven pissed off dude.
Just blacked my eye.
Cause his girlfriend just happened to be in the mood.
Got thrown in jail after I eat some special brownies
and decided to go to the library naked to read othello.
Cops tazed me twice.
Why does everyone have to harsh my mellow.
They wont let me return to the local bar.
Just cause last week I crashed into it with my car.
Everybody thinks I should hang it up but Im no quitter.
Just cause I misplaced a couple of kids.
In my last foray as beng a babysitter.
I swear to tell the truth eventhough Im a liar.
How was I to know the gas grill in the living room
would catch the house on fire.
Im a crook a drunk and a liar but other than that im a
nice fellow.
Just cause i enjoy a few cocktails while driving the school bus.
Why does everyone think they gotta
harsh my mellow
heave bursts from lips can both injure or heal
harsh words strike deep the bayonet’s metal
while kind words stroke soft as a rose petal
floral scent~ gardener’s sweeter appeal

We judge others with ease, so very harshly!
But what about ourselves?
Not one of us is pure nor sinlesss,
Unless you are dead, of course.
Moralists have great fun, they do judge all!
Yet....Christ loved sinners and saints.
So why judge another, it’s not your place!
What sins are hidden behind your smiling face?
Humanity is not perfect, why pretend it to be?
With hate against your fellow man~ tis what
Satan loves to see.
Ring loud the church bells~do remind others to love.
Stop verbal and written attacks~they live in red hot,
Satan’s heart and gloves.
Christ said, “love one another, as I have l loved you.”
This takes patience and getting off your high horse, too.
It’s acceptable to correct your brother in the human race.
But look in the mirror first~ before so casually labeling
and dismissing another, as a total disgrace!

Harsh storm / great floods blow
Crashed hill / drenched fields flow
Blocked light / dark town prays
Faith cheered / peace* brings glow
*John 16:33 These things I (Jesus Christ) have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

It’s a harsh cold winter
You’re gone and I’m so bitter
I sat front-row seat
As I watched our love wither
Heart gouged by the splinters
You’ve silenced your ringer
And my feelings for you
Oh, they still linger…
It’s a harsh cold winter
Choked sobs and silent whimpers
Sparks of love burned out
Leaving ashes and cinder
Sleepless nights
Bottles of whiskey
Skipped meals
My love, do you miss me?
It’s a harsh cold winter
I’ve always been an overthinker
Should I move on? Or reach out?
letting my healing progress hinder
Week old sheets that smell of you
Tears as wide as the ocean
People come and go
But all I ever wanted was your devotion
No matter how much time you have to help others,
No matter how many resources you have to help others,
No matter how many favors you call in to help others,
No matter how many ideas you can come up with to help others,
There is a harsh lesson we must all learn about others,
It is not often you can save them from themselves.
Not even if you are their Mothers or Fathers.
So, if you have done all of the above for others,
And they still are hiding under the covers,
There is nothing more to be done about the others,
No matter how much it bothers.
The glow of her skin is patchwork yellow
She has been pierced by the rain on her soul
Her face, stained by tears, sings with a cello
Crying seems rampant and beyond control
But the colors of her soul is released
And projected on herself as a whole
There are days in which she is quite displeased
Her lifeless stare seeps into her being
Closed, her mind leaves her body, she has eased
Timeless feel of the enigmatic ring
Caressing her real hard, rough life again
Not a selfless bone in her body sings
She lives a rough life, her soul’s in a den
Sadness is envisioned by her mind’s eye
Mighty she gloats of her prowess she pens
Her fierce eyes penetrate all those she spies
Raw feelings compete with all those that lie

She walks in to the disco
Feeling pretty hot
Glances from the others
Tell her that she’s not.
Killer heels do just that
Lips a cupid bow
Drops her Prada handbag
Wrinkles start to show.
Downs a quick Bacardi
Drinking makes her bold
Confidence is growing
Away from her cuckold.
Geezers in the corner
Laugh into their pints
Quick one round the back
Better than a fight.
Twenty each, bet is on,
First one out the door
Get another round in
Won’t take long for sure.
Lads all start to cheer him
Barely heard above the beat
Sweat pours down his forehead
Glass beneath his feet.
Heads off to the ladies
Startled by harsh light
Best friend at her side
Two cougars in the night.
She looks into a mirror
Mascara down her cheeks
Wipes her eyes, full of doubt
The company she seeks.
Another bottled Breezer
The pain will go away
Think about tonight
How to make him pay.
First attempt, chat her up
Give out some on blarney
Flashy car, lots of cash,
Time spent in the Army.
Down in one, more to drink
Atmosphere is cool
Muscle flex, turns her nose
Starts to feel a fool.
Offers her a lift home
Does she want a ride
Drop off by the station
Should she keep her pride.
Love bite on the shoulder
Hopes it can’t be seen
Stomach churns with sickness
How stupid she has been.
Gets home Sunday morning
Feeling really cheap
Clock shows 4 am
Really needs to sleep.
Old man in drunken stupor
Whisky glass beside
Slithers into bed
Sleep is where she hides.
Later in the day
She’ll be chatting on the phone
Talking of the weekend
How she was not alone.
Was it really worth it
It doesn’t solve a thing
Bitter clouds descend
Floor begins to spin.
On the other side of town
Down another street
A wife is full of tears
Her husband is a cheat.
HARSH VOICE
I sing the song eternal
A crackling, cackling broomstick sweep
Why?
Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!
A squirt of the old oil can
Clears up the voice for Tin Man
No Yellow Brick Road this life
No wizard in some enchanted castle
And I ask again, why?
This world no Disney tune
Or intoxicated lovers humping ‘neath the moon
I ask the question eternal, why?
Life sucks,
Then you die
I roar, cough at these clichés
As the voice grows weaker
Oh, to laugh in its face
The atheist finally calls on Jesus
No disgrace

Wow I thought it was 2011
Not 1963 wow I came back up
And fed up with a harsh reality
That is sinful fatality
Faces turn red when the truth
Is fed. They are Rip Van Winkles
In a fast changing global society
Woe is them and me
God help me
People tell me
Harsh Reality
Awful as it can be
Truthful Rouge Face
Sour to The Taste
OMG OMG Global Society
Incarcerated in a prison of one’s tortured and twisted mind
Is worse than any physical chamber that you could find.
Languishing in an existence that fades in and out of reality
With only turmoil and a total deficiency of tranquility.
Fortunately as your mind decays and deteriorates into the void
You embrace the phenomena that most people try to avoid.
Blood soaks the streets in your name
Eating offal in the rain
The dogs of war are howling
As the rain washes it down the drain
Empty shells fall to the ground
Everywhere rotting bodies are found
We are bound, gagged, beaten and raped
Blood soaks the streets in your name.

The other fantastic day,
I met my dear lovely friend,
A King of the Jungle
We hugged each other
Jasmine, the poet of crows was bushing
Her long black nib to write a honk style poem
Gag Gag Harsh Hug
Soft spoken like Charmin
The earth is down to you
You'd sacrifice the clothes off your body
in a winter storm
Forever putting yourself out of the photo
Loyal to snakes
Spearhead in your spine
future bright as a lit billboard at 2 a.m.
all for $2000
Now you live among rapists, murderers
talking only within
Came out of the closet to me
and strictly me
Regret fills lungs like butterflies
My oldest friend
Dreamt of being a pioneer
We sucked ideas from each others brain
World conquerors together
Helped Mrs. Stalworth with 1000 groceries
Taught the slow boy to double knot
This is not your destiny
You befriended me when I was fresh meat
Orchestrating fundraisers in our minuscule community
Catching game winning TD’s
Unstoppable on the field
Nicknamed sticky hands on the gridiron
Now off it too
What changed, pal?
Times get rocky
you taught me that
Why can’t you take your own advice?
Frustration boils like magma
Secrets deteriorate a person
like battery acid
Why didn't you confide in me?
Heroin destroys like tornados
My heart full of glass and impotence
I could have helped you, brother
I'm sorry I let you fall
off that never ending cliff
