Harsh Eucarist

Blood soaks the streets in your name
Eating offal in the rain
The dogs of war are howling
As the rain washes it down the drain
Empty shells fall to the ground
Everywhere rotting bodies are found
We are bound, gagged, beaten and raped
Blood soaks the streets in your name.

beautifully penned; Holy Eucharist is the Sacrament in which Jesus Christ gives his Body and Blood ... Jesus also prayed for His disciples, who likewise had to suffer harsh trials
