F l y i n g

a sailing tailwind
through cerulean streams
and creamsicle colored beams—
are wings reflective
of the turquoise truth
and white purity
of Autumn’s ether

he aviates
a clear troposphere
riding an unbridled
capricious and combative
boreas
on the cusp
of a new season

with a plumage infusion
of shifting Cape Cod skies
the blue jay mixes hues
with the Northern azure
that fades to shades
of turmoil
to the South and East—
becoming lost
in its milky breadth
its lilting light
its dimming depths
where the edge of rustic rural
meets the sandy ridge of conifers—crooked
twisted and back-bent
from gales
of salt-sprayed sorcery

Canadian bluster-gusts
leading the charge
of a cold sapphire crest
is bedeviled
offshore
by the raw
tongue-lashing spin
of a brooding onshore flow
twirling
a brewing brawl
whirling
in slate pearlescent space
s w i r l i n g
with the dusky feistiness
of stormy petrels…
mobs of darkening fog
growing fatter
on summer’s fainty surrender—
leftover tints of tender cornflower
and hints of dainty dove

there’s a sparkle
in the eye of the storm…
his mischievous black gaze
mirrors
the harsh harbinger
of commotion
clash and change—
his piercing “jay-jay” jabs
the maddening mayhem
of menacing air
with an emerald-needled sharpness
of wind-weary pitch pines
anchoring
the beige of coastal dunes
where his refractive blues
take cover
in colorful contrast

ahead
of the bruising
October nor’easter

Within poetry is found many a guise
See poetry has brought wars to rise

Within the breath of Nostradamus tales
Quatrain after Quatrain of future spells

Throughout time lovers have parted
As poet’s tell of the broken hearted

Poet’s write of the glory as well as the plight
Another young boy fell on the battlefield tonight

Though out every Empire, race and creed
A poet’s pen was there to bleed

Tales of the future and tales of the past
Or perhaps making this moment last

There are no boundaries to a poet’s heart
As they ask of the world, “Please have a part”

Through the twisted tales of forbidden romance
‘Tis the poet who offers the reader a glance

Into the world that they could never see
Through my crystal ball come dance with me

The blood from my heart pours out through my pen
For I am a poet and this is my only sin

I have never liked your phoney guise as a clown
Whose silly painted smile should be turned upside down
I'd like to put red ants
Down your baggy ass pants
And watch you dance until the seat of 'em runs brown

The Black Widow's Metastasizing Guise: Casey Anthony Saga

You spun your spindly web of lies
In the silken strands waxed family ties
You coddled your young then muffled her cries
You buried her carcass 'neath the availing skies
Beneath your black veil lay a predatory disguise
With your guile, you craftily disarmed all of the bleary eyes
A bleeding shroud in your stolid carriage did rise
A new, more sinister plan you did devise
You desecrated the shroud and drained the feeding flies
Intrigue turned to folly as your friends, family reconnoitered with
spies
In your cleansed web lay a portentous prize
From the fowl smell of putrid flesh, a merciless kill they did
surmise
You quickly returned to your spinning mill a more flexible yarn to
reprise
You calmly intimidated that the innocent prey accidentally entered
your vize
With mercy and pardon you greeted its pitiful sighs
After you released your caring grip, it fell through narrow gap, due
to smaller size
Landing in a squalid pool of water, with its plight did sympathize
Drowning in your own cup of drained blood, could not immediately
empathize
When the hoary sun dried its bowl of tears, your twined fates did
realize
Hearts painfully severed, buried the corpse death's sting to
tranquilize
Burying your grief in the earth, your emotive grounds did
subsequently anesthetize
Oh stealthy predator time did your lethal venom into salt crystalize
Your slithery prints the corroded carcass doth no longer advertize
But from heaven's door a saintly angel yet lives your evil deed to
immortalize

ANGEL IN GUISE

Amazing astounding appearance of an angel
    Not from heavenly abode
Glorious happenstance offering guidance and aasistance
    Enabling troubles to overcome
    Lending strong helping hand.

In guise of friends, child, mentor, relative or even no aquiatances
    Noble debut of an angel.

     Great!
    Unexpected miracle occurs.
     Inspiring!
    Super surprise.
     Empowering distressed.

Upward rise,
Daily highs.
Skyward eyes,
Season's ties.
Crowded skies,
Southern cries,
Northward flies.
Mated prize,
Winter dies.

Premium Member Tale of An Ambivalent Guise

' Hesitant Heart to wobble despite of desirous soulmate to welcome.'
                                _ Poet

  Tale of An Ambivalent Guise

    Day Dawn's ! Early Morn.
     Crimson Sun in radiance.
     Mr. Ambivalent Guise
     roaming on non mowed lawn
      even ignores to glance slant
on Her awaiting with scintillating look
                at bated breath.

Idle noon : Pale placid white Moon
Anxious Girl with eager ears to listen
          Mr. Introvert Persona's voice
seeming audible as His eyes to glisten.
No ! Stubborn silence not to splinter.

         Afternoon merging dreary evening.
          Mr. Dubious Phantom
          seems to come close.
She rose to hold His hand :
He has neither stopped nor touched.

           Mystic Mesmerizing night :
            Mr. Morose Enigma
            unleashing hard hesitance
            undulating and vaporising
              in escaping silhouettes.

Through chasm of wobbled peak of
            rigid static mountain
            oozing amorous flow
            surging, cascading in opulence.
               Emotive urge enraptured,
                captured in Her heart.

               One moment stood still
            encumbering passage of eternal time.
                 Simple Single sentence
                   of six syllables
                ' I like you, Dear Sweetheart '
                embellished Her dreamy desires.

In the Guise of Loved

Substitution in the guise of love
deceit for a life time
for all the things they want

And there’s nothing they can tell you
from what little do they know
only to accept you
as if they would grow
and mature into
you

For the dumbest puppet
has tiny hands and unsteady feet
and it’s so easy
to oppress the weak
so easy to inject them
in the guise of loved
so as possessions to own them
with the trick or treat
make decision for them
and decide their fate

Subversion of identity
a body, a personality
and love by dangerous venom
intercedes

So easily to control them
distill them
and give them direction

Give them all you have learned
everything you earned
resolutions of the state
teach them to walk in the footprints
someone else has made

For the dumbest puppets
do not know how they see
so it is by the careless it is
to slap the weak
no answer back can’t even speak
and let them stumble
clumsy until they learn
they only have tiny little hands
and are so unsteady on their feet

Then by loved
all responsibility relinquish
fill their heads with garbage
tattoo and pierce them another pill
stamp them on the treadmill
and feed them on the dreams
do you remember those dreams
you could not fulfill

Love them by you are mine
subversion of individuality
an adult someday, a personality
and love by dangerous venom
intercedes

to meet the challenge of dealing
with another human being ” Anonymous.

Guise of Light

She found four horses

as they arrived

and saw one more

come around the outside

"... but they'll never see it ..."

in the guise of light

"... or even believe it..."

so we might as well write

"... four shores...

and then Seven sees

... an eighth Sister...

in the system Pleiades"

and from their message in Pi

I could see with my very own eyes

that a noize was left to be found

"... between E and 3 there is now ..."

the kingdom of heaven

and a heavenly sound

Odious Guise

Sustainability needs guidance
with pesticides and terminator seeds:
disease on demand by death's command.
Their cabal must trample your needs
until all gets tangled
by souls already mangled.

The plight of this flight
shall serve as a blight
on all human imagination
until only consternation
prods fatal conservation
to cloak life's giving light
in the serpent curtain of night.

Such a game serves to blame
ages of prophets who came
to understand and enlighten
souls yearning to heighten
energies burning to brighten
with heaven's promising flame
lifeforces impossible to tame.

In Guise and Surprise, Dove Plumages

It's been a while I handled my humble muse like this.

Here is a duet between Mfoniso Ubaha and Wems Henry Temmy

MU
I am fine.
You smile with head up, saying; good.
I chuckled, putting up a dirty smile
And you call it beautiful.
I said: okay, you believed it
Without knowing how not okay I am.

WHT
You are mine.
I travel miles with eyes closed, murmuring; food.
I winks, seeing your falling smile...
How fast it becomes artful.
Oh yeah, hmm,the fall hits!
And drive me lonely till you closed your arm.

MU
I am sick but hides it.
I prefer my depression to you--
It is more real than you are.
I put you out to avoid your s.
I lied to you, you loved it, then you don't know
I pretended for life, to live the life I live.
I am a lier and you don't know.

WHT
I longed for thy lips glee that fits.
As thy fainting pressure reads true.
I may be seen to be afar...
But my heart's hole measures feelings omitted
For all the packages you filed won't go,
Even when it dives;
To relieve your painted feelings, it glows...

MU
I got a thick skin and an elastic heart.
Your blunt barb can't sting me in.
Your Poisons didn't reach my vessels...
That my system was undisturbed.
There I live undamaged.
I survived stresses and strain ...
I am unbreakable.

WHT
I embraced the tears tearing its limit apart;
While the fear blocked the bin,
That for peace, you grow unnoticed nestles
Where the prolonged brace is well managed
And the strives thrive though in pain.
Yet, the cross for both becomes bearable.
