I pray a bright star will shine in the air

O'er Washington to guide some wise men there

        Bringing gifts of commonsense

            And harmony to dispense

To a nation that is in disrepair

Guiding Star (MJH 8/28/15 lyric)

We’ve gotta take it slow,
Remember who we are,
Live up to what we know,
Follow our guiding star.

We need to take a stand
Against the dark we see;
Extend a helping hand,
Help set our brothers free.

Following shadows on the ground,
They can’t look up ‘cause they’re beaten down.
If they’d just look to their guiding star,
They might recall who and what they are.

Good folks are losing hope;
Can’t see their guiding star.
Sliding down on their last rope,
Forgotten who they are.

Following shadows on the ground,
They can’t look up ‘cause they’re beaten down.
If they’d just look to their guiding star,
They might recall who and what they are.

Rely on what we know.
Remember who we are.
Onward we must go;
Lead to our guiding star.

Splashing, thrashing, wildly crashing
     rages the rolling sea
like a half-tortured serpent swirled
     in waves of misery!

Through this tempest and angry night,
     a vessel from afar
sails by the dim, faint, speckled glow
     of heaven's compass star.

Guiding Star

I thank my teachers
For being my Guiding Star –
Helping me learn something new,
By the hour….
Teaching me that
Learning is the order of the day, Showing me how
An apple a day keeps the doctor away!

My teachers taught me
To add and to subtract
They also taught
That the Golden Ages are a fact,
That Einstein and Newton
Brewed up Inventions
And Studying Systematically
Could Rest my Tensions!

My Teachers correct me
When I am wrong
They show me how
To make and keep my body strong.
They help me make the World a Better Place,
They show me that Community Service does not mean Falling from Grace

They teach me the values
Of Respect and Integrity,
Of Determination , Humility and Honesty!
Of Living in Harmony with Nature,
Making sure that the Balance is forever Richer!

They tell us that plants also have lives
That it is only OxygenThat will keep you alive.
Learning will make you strong – to Achieve your Goals in life,
And that is where your Teachers will nurture your Drive!

That is why God made Teachers….
To bring about the person in all of us alive!
Pave our careers and this world
By being the Polaris,
To make us all shine bright,
Always like Aurous!!

My Guiding Star

She was a lamp of light unto me:
The light was a guiding star,
Full of love and affection.
I dwelled in the warmth of the light.
She fed me and I grew with her thoughts,
She sowed the seed of virtues in me
And watered it day in and day out.
She taught me knowledge and wisdom.
The light shone in me and darkness scared to touch me.
I crossed rugged roads, yet she was beside me;
Yet He is ever with me carrying in His Arms.
She was my teacher of simplicity:
I grew simple; reared modest; nurtured meek,
She taught me the prayer of silence,
And in silence I learnt patience.
Thorns would prick me; yet she treated me,
She would never let the blood ooze out,
And I would watch her tears rolling down her cheeks,
And I knew she wept for my pain.
We have been walking on the path of virtues
Holding our hands together in the bond of love.
FORLORN! Her hands fell down, and I’m shaken:
I perceived the pallor on her white face,
It seemed it wept for me in silence,
And I knew even in silence she can’t forget me.
The Lord hath taken the lamp from me;
Yet the light of the lamp dwells in me.
I wept at her motionless corpse,
Tears rolled down my cheeks.
But could she know I had wept for her departure?
But I had known she wept for my pain
When thorns had pricked me in her presence.
The lamp is no more with me;
Yet the Lord shines in me thro’ my parents.

She was a lamp of light unto me,
The light was a guiding star
Full of love and affection.

Guiding Star

I cried aloud into the night as I sat before the grave
Seeking holy answers for the son I could not save

Asking the Lord to light the way
Keeping my journey from going astray

I told him of my burdens and the sadness in my heart
I’d never felt so alone or so very far apart

Why did you take my child, Lord? I just can’t understand
No longer can I touch his face or hold his precious hand

I'm angry, God, missing him and drowning in my sorrow
Please help me heal my yesterday and face each new tomorrow

It was then I heard his voice and felt a presence near
How I wanted to hold him as I shed another tear

Dad, I'm safe now and my spirit is flying free
I'm singing in Heaven’s choir, so please don't cry for me

I was chosen by the Father above, and now I'm in His care
When you need me, look inside your heart, I promise to be there

No one can take away our bond with one another
For I will always be your precious child, as you will be my father

So if you can’t find your way, or the road to home seems so very far
Just look to the twinkling night and I will be your guiding star

Guiding Star

How can one explain being so far
And so damn close as if together?
You're a distant shining guiding star
That encompasses me forever.

Yes it's silly but what can you do?
At least I found you, my dear soulmate!
You work real hard but what do I do? -
I play with rhymes and images create.

G-uiding star January twenty-fourth
U-ses its light to find the way;

Soulmates

I had never been able to attribute
A face to my soulmate
My guiding star to a better being and self
With whom I can be myself
Awaken my inner child
Be vulnerable and wild
Without fear of retribution or judgement
Twin flames ignited by a cosmic bond
That transcends human comprehension or sense
A platonic connection between two best friends
Kindred spirits fated to true love
Persisting through the ravages of time
Into a pure spiritual plane

Premium Member Through Cosmic Dust, a Guiding Star

In the nebula of your spirit's vast despair,
When asteroid fields of sorrow wildly flare,
Stand like a celestial beacon, constant and bright—
Let your laughter be the starlight that conquers night.

Though cosmic clouds may swirl, a dense eclipse,
Your radiance can pierce the dark abyss's lips.
For every void surrenders to a solar birth,
And grief, like space dust, will drift from the Earth.

So gleam, though your core may silently weep,
For joy, like a supernova, will surge from the deep.

A Guiding Star

A beacon bright, her love's embrace,
A soothing balm, a gentle grace.
Through darkest nights, a guiding star,
Her love, a shield, protecting far.

A gentle hand, a guiding light,
She leads me through the darkest night.
Her wisdom whispers, soft and clear,
Dispelling fears, chasing away despair.

Her voice, a song, a sweet refrain,
A melody that calms the pain.
With open arms, she welcomes me,
A haven safe, a sanctuary.

Like a strong oak, her love endures,
Through trials faced, her heart ensures
A constant strength, a steadfast hold,
Her love, a treasure, worth more than gold.

A beacon bright, her love so true,
A guiding star, I see in you.
Through life's adventures, hand in hand,
I'll walk beside you, in this wondrous land.

Forever grateful for your love's embrace,
My guiding light, my safe, warm space.
In your arms, I find my soul,
A beacon bright, my guiding role.
