I hope this poem provides some comfort and encouragement to anyone facing difficult times and reminds you of the light you carry within. Inspired by Susan Brumel's comment on "Deepest Darkest Depression" on poetry.com Using the same metaphor.

Listen to poem:
In the nebula of your spirit's vast despair, When asteroid fields of sorrow wildly flare, Stand like a celestial beacon, constant and bright— Let your laughter be the starlight that conquers night. Though cosmic clouds may swirl, a dense eclipse, Your radiance can pierce the dark abyss's lips. For every void surrenders to a solar birth, And grief, like space dust, will drift from the Earth. So gleam, though your core may silently weep, For joy, like a supernova, will surge from the deep.
